As we headed into GZ Mrs SKI found the grave of her great grandparents who live in Inverell and owned one of the pubs here. Her father was also born here but left when he was about 6.The cache was found in the open on a ledge in the structure. We left it as we found it rather than hide it in the wrong place. Hope this is OK!A full day in Inverell, but being Sunday things were pretty quiet. We still had a few caches in town to find but also wanted to head out to the Goonoowigall Conservation Area. We were glad we did as there were some great features to see in the park, and the walk was a gentle one although we still walked nearly 10km. We enjoyed The Slot, Thunderbolt Rocks and the falls, appreciating the views back to town too. Finally we headed out to the lake, another beautiful area. Some good caches were found on our travels as well!Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Smel1978.**SKI Pair****

Day 2 staying at Glen Innes and today we decided to take a drive to Inverell. We have been through some time past, but there have been a few more caches put out.Got down and dirty for this one until we zeroed in on GZ.Total Caches Found 15967TFTC Smel1978
The cache had been muggled It has been replaced and is now back in play.Happy caching!
A little walk around the cemetery to locate a nice easy find.. Took an eyeball and left a Canadian coin... Also found a trackable all the way from Berlin, Germany which will be on its way to the Central Coast just waiting to be found again...
Eventually found it with the help of MuggleMajor. Doggy knees didn't help with kneeing. All good with the cache. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
Found this one yesterday but forgot to log it. Easy find after looking at it from another angle
Here to find an ancestor - we did! And a few other relatives too. Then we found the cache on the way to another couple - this cemetery is loaded with family members. The cache hunt was an interesting one, we did a couple laps of a nearby area which was similar to the hint then discovered something exactly like the hint. We made it way too hard for ourselves, searching for a while, before Calypso62 removed some leaves piled up in the corner and the cache presented itself to us. He did find somewhere a bit less out in the open to replace it, right there, because if anyone came to clean those leaves they would take the cache with them. On an aside, we found it interesting the graves all face different directions in this cemetery.

Out and about with my geowife, SBMT and the Masked Penguin. This one eluded all four of us for about about five minutes until I moved some leaves and the cache was revealed. Not sure that's where it was supposed to be. After signing the log, I returned it to a more appropriate spot at the same location. Thanks for the geo-fun.

Took me a few minutes to spot the container my co ords had me a little out . Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
Found it! A good hide (& the pencil was with it!) Had a look round that area afterwards- very interesting.
Popular area for the size of the town. Found it in the end after a thorough search. Thanks for the cache.
Got outside so decided to drive around in the aircon and do a bit of Geocaching.
Found with Dora the Explorer. A systematic search got there in the end. Dropped off a trackable.
The Angels smiled on us and gave us a tiny break in the weather allowing us some sunshine to find this one safe and well.

Have been notified that cache is missing. Will check on the location as soon as possible.
Sad to hear that it has possibly been muggled.

Ok so umm…….I found a piece of paper….. and someone else had signed it……. So I signed that too……but the container itself is very missing so maybe this cache needs a lil TLC…. Other than that thanks for the find!
A gorgeous day to be caching in this most scenic of locations. Thanks for hiding this cache and giving us the opportunity to explore.
I needed to find this cache because it’s the closest cache to my caching centroid. I needed it to complete the challenge GC59WFG which is based in Williamstown in Melbourne. It’s a good spot here - I’m glad I came out.

Caching around Inverell while travelling to Dayboro for the Mega. But plans have changed and we won't be crossing the border unfortunately.
Very peaceful and well maintained.

We're heading t Dayboro for the CacheQld mega and took the Fossickers Way to get from Tamworth to Glen Innes so that I could pick up a cache in two counties that I've not visited previously ... Gwydir and Inverell.
This was my Inverell cache of choice (I like cemetery caches) but I tried one other closer to the highway, without success, before detouring out of my way to this one. Thanks to good co-ords, it didn't take long to bring this cache to hand, giving me my 108th (of 129) county find in NSW. Thanks Smel1978.

I've visited the City of Angels several times
But this isn't the one that I remember [:o]
No Disneyland here
I did spy at least one angel on me wander through the 'city' on me way to GZ
I saw it out of the corner of my eye !! [:o]
Don't blink.
At GZ I soon tracked down the cache's hiding place
And had a really good view of the impending DOOM !! [:o]
No ... not the cold fingers of death on me shoulder !!
The thunderstorm rolling in from the west
