A day off work and although it was a cold morning it’s turning into a beautiful autumn day so why not head up to the Sunshine Coast.


Lucky last before heading home. This was a very quick find as I’ve found many like this before.
I feel for those that can’t find it as it’s clever and IPS but once they find this one they’ll be ok for future ones.

Tricky find

Was a tricky find and was well hidden

A drive to the sunshine coast with Willis007 and Bella (geodog) to continue collecting caches on the sunshine coast LGA. Today was to continue with the Sunshine coast LGA challenge and to support E smileys Celebration event. We worked our way around the coastal areas collecting caches and spending time at caches that were not there . It was a fun day and will still have to come back again to this area to finish off the challenge.

After the event, we set off to conquer more caches in the area while working our way back home. This one had me on the other side of the road, but a quick read of the hint and a look around and we soon had this one all done.
We signed the log and replaced all as found, then continued on with our journey. Thanks for the cache, all good with this one, thanks.

On the lovely Sunshine Coast today for the Community Celebration Event with chamad and geopup, we stopped at some target caches on our journey south towards Brisbane.

Back before we moved to SE Qld, we would have found this a difficult hide, but with a bit more experience now, it was a quick and easy find. Find on our way back from entertaining the grandson at the ginger factory on a wet morning, first day of the year. Thanks for the cache!

Second last for the afternoon, and last for the north shore, this was a quick and systematic search at GZ. The container was found with the log baggie jammed in a groove next to the cache. This one may have been discovered by a more respectful muggle who couldn't figure out how to replace the log inside. Log signed and replaced as found, thanks for the hide theyoung-1z!

Found It!!! Quick little hunt before going to rivershore

We couldnt find it at first but once me and my brother saw the hint on the app we new exactly where to look!

This cache was disabled when i was here with mum collecting caches north of the river over a year ago now.
I remember looking at the map expecting a sea of smilies and this one green circle in the middle of them was instead staring back at me. It was hilarious.
So today was the day i was to hunt this pirates treasure down.
No foolin' this scallywag.

Easy find

Spending a couple of nights at Cooroy, caching in the Sunshine Coast area. Spectacular coastal views or mountain views from most areas that we travelled. Throw in a couple of ALs plus a few caches & its made for an enjoyable stay in your area.

I did a cool cache in Cooroy earlier today named “Pirate Bones” and I thought this might be a companion cache. Doesn’t look like it, but another fun cache all the same. Only a D1 if you’ve seen one of these before I reckon. Thanks for the hide!

Visiting this lovely district from the Gold Coast with geo friends hatzofff, RoddyC and grannysmith 1947.
The further up we venture it just gets more beautiful, a nice quick find was enjoyed here.
