Having been in Hamilton for the night it's now time to make my way back towards Wellington.
Stopped here for a quick find. Despite the recent branch trimming that has gone on the area still seems suitable and the cache is still there, safe and dry. TFTC

Looking for a cache to put a TB in, so just delighted to find this without too much fuss after the writeup by the renown Gheckos. Such a well crafted cache earns a fav from us.
Carefully fitted a TB in, only to discover as I log it that the cache has been archived!!
We won't be able to retrieve it either as we live in Tauranga and were only passing.
Cache is all good. There are trimmed tree branches lying around that we had to step around, but they didn't impinge on the cache. TFTC. Will send a note to the owners.

This cache had Mr Geckoh going around and around in circles for longer than Mrs Geckoh could bear so she joined the search and had the cache was in hand in minutes. A good laugh was had at Mr Geckoh's expense due to him being 'as blind as a bat'. Worth a favourite point for the amusement had by both Geckoh's. TFTC

This was our last cache find in Cambridge today and it was a fun cache to finish up on before returning home. After a couple of circuits of gz, we spied something of interest and on closer inspection we had this one in hand. TFTC
“up there” with my favourites got stabbed a few times - looked like a bush pakeha loved the find
Oh very cute! I thought I'd be beating around the bush but turned out not to be the case. Greetings from Wellington New Zealand and TFTC.
This was our first Cambridge find, and it has set a high bar for the other caches in the area! Very clever, hidden in plain sight, and fun to access. TFTC
I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #947.
I am going for a two day trip down to Turangi, but just had to stop to get a few new ones in Cambridge. I did a thorough search of where I thought the cache would be, but then found it where I didn't think it would be. TFTC.

Oh well done on an imaginative hide. Yes the hint makes so much sense now and this cache deserves a Fav.
If only I didn't have to tie my shoes so much!

Wow this is the first time I have found this particular cache. Mrs BlueSTK spotted it. The container and cache is amazing. The surrounding area is beautiful. We'll done jeffmarg for placing this cache. Definitely worth a FP from me.
With the Geocaching Cache Carnival coming to an end in two days, it’s important I target highly favourited geocaches as I continue my daily streak. Heading back to Katikati from New Plymouth, this is one such cache, and only a short distance off my intended route.
*But so worth the detour!*
Thanks for this innovative cache well worth the kudos received. Unfortunately I have none left else I would also leave one. Keep up the great work and TFTC

Another simple but yet so brilliant cache! Very pleasant surprise to see one of such cache on our trip today. Spend few minutes amazed and figuring our how the CO have set this up, before head to the Alpaca farm opposite of the road. Thanks for the cool build!
FP awarded.
TFTC and hello from Singapore!

A quick easy find and retrieval of a nicely constructed cache which gets a favourite from us. TFTC
Found using Cachly app and logged using the text template, so please excuse generic logging in advance. On a spur of the moment roadie with Phillip.perry from the Bay of Plenty, a plan was hatched and here we are after leaving Tauranga at 6am to make the most of the day. Great to have these places to visit and many thanks to all you COs for the placements. Cheers
A personal favourite. Top 10 for me. We spent a while searching in all the wrong places until it hit us in the head. We felt silly after we realised where it was. TFTC.
LOVED this cache! Great spot for a cache and excellent way to hide it... very clever and worthy of a fav point. TFTC

What a cool hide. No horses around today so just a quick stop to sign the log then we were on our way. TFTC
Decided to start the year well with a highly favorited cache. I bought my boys out with me and it was eldest who spotted this one first. It was easier to spot than I think was anticipated so we positioned it as I think it was intended after signing the log. Thanks for taking the time to create something a little different and definitely fun.
Found quickly when we turned around after admiring the view of the track. Thanks for the creative cache, a fave from us. We also enjoyed the Christmas-themed gateway across the road. TFTC!
Always nice to have a few caches to log after a long drive - and this one is brilliant! Such a quirky cache TFTC
This is the most brilliant one yet that I have found done with storm0511 thank you for an awesome cache
Great Geocache hide. Took the troop a bit to find. Stepping back from bottom searching was the key
Stayed in a Cambridge last night on the way to a family event. Went for this cache for nostalgic reasons, we used to regularly go to the trots here back in the 70's. I enjoyed this find and it gets a FP. Thanks.

We walked straight to the correct tree and had the cache in hand very quickly. It's good to find something other than a rusty mint tin. Well done. TFTC.
+ a marble and a FP.

On our way south we detoured and found this fabulous cache. The hint was correct B couldn't but M could! Well deserved FP from us. TFTC!
Rummaging around with Paranephrops, scratching arms then P spotted something not quite in a natural position. Would have liked to see you setting up your cache. TFTC and a fp
Favourite cache of the day. Enjoyed the inventive concealment in plain sight.
We decided to boost our Planetry Pursuit points to 1000 today, by collecting 8 well-favourited Waikato trads. Five were available to us in Cambridge, so we headed there to start the day.
Our first stop was at the Top of the Straight. Walked to GZ with our eyes on the GPS then looked around and spotted the hide. Very nicely done, and adding another to its tally of Favourite points.

In Cambridge catching up on some caching and learning about all the changes with the roading. Loved this cache and gets a fav from me too - One of the best today TFTC
Had passed through here last year and failed to find at in the gathering dusk. This time it was sunny and spotted it very quickly. What a great setup this is so worth a favourite. Tftc
Up here looking for planets and this one helped to do the job clever hide and neat container gets a fav TFTC
Great cache... I now understand the clue to another cache we've been meaning to go and find. We've left a wee bit of colour for another cache junior. Tfgc
Cheers

Our 3rd one ever and this is by far my favourite one! Super cool idea I loved it!
Thanks Nodo for letting us know the log was missing. We’ve replaced it. Happy caching.
11.35am. Not long to find but there was no log in the container so I was not able to sign it. Looked on the ground without success. A favourite point here for a great cache. Have seen a few like this.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
After finishing up work early this morning I decided to take a drive into the Waikato. Time for one last cache in Cambridge, before I take the 1b route back towards Auckland. I parked up nice and close to GZ and got to looking. Tried a few spots without luck. But, then I turned around and there it was, clear as day. I think it was slightly out of place so replaced along with the convention of such a hide. Cheers for the cache placement!
Headed south to Tamahere and Cambridge today on an end of summer caching mission. Needed at least 10 finds to get my total finds to 100 (which was my goal for this summer). This was find #6. TFTC - I'd hoped to eventually come across a cache like this one day... gave me a big smile!
Out with my six year old grandson. He loved this one. Made sure it was well placed as it was little low.
Brilliant. Just brilliant. Walked right past it to start with. Well worth coming out from Hamilton to get it.
This is brilliant !
Most worthy of a Favourite Point .
Have never seen anything quite like it before .
Must have been a bit tricky to construct.
Thank you guys....you sure brightened up my afternoon !

Loved the cache. I hadn't even got to the cache and a vehicle slowed and looked at me suspiciously. Wandered around before going back to GZ and finding this fantastic cache. Love the effort in creating this. Fave point from me. Thanks very much jeffmarg, jabberstott
As we are staying a few nights in this area this cache helped us fill our days in
All co ords were spot on which made it easier to find many thanks
A FP for this as we love these sort of caches

Thanks for this wee gem of a cache, worth the detour on a Sunday drive while out for strawberries. A fav from us.
On our way to Auckland today and had called into Cambridge for a pit stop, and was heading out past this cache .
Soon had cache in hand and log signed .
Thanks for the placement and the smiley.

initially we felt alarm and frustration with the clue, because it looked like there had been some ground clearing, pruning and at GZ, and perhaps even a tree missing... but heading back to the car dejected and even more annoyed - mostly because our planned day out of town had really gone nothing like to plan, and we were now busy aborting and heading home..
so we had taken this route to get away from the main road.. and maybe finally get a chance to do the caching we had intended on some not so regularly visited caches perhaps..
Luckily our grumpy stumbling's back to the car lead us to spot something that shouldn't be there, and it was so big we stood back incase it should drop upon a head... this of course lead us to its connection with earth and caching... awesome! thanks.. you put the spring back in our step - wish there where more clever caches like this around.., ! keep it up .. Fav

Easy find. Great idea for a cache. Weather's poo but not going to let that stop us. Tftc
Had a quick look, then stood back and had another look, at the right tree this time, and yes, there it was. The log was damp, so replaced it. A very clever cache, gave it a favourite. Tftc.
Arrived at GZ have a few minutes to spend in Cambridge so grabbed a few caches ...my GPS took me right to the spot .my partner had spent quiet a bit of time trying to find it ...and then I laughed and said look at this she said oh or something like that a clever concept ...Iooked up and immediately saws the issue ...the pruners have been through and removed some important parts ...thanks Jeff Marg.jabberstott for an awesome cache we need more of these love it
This was a random cache I chose to find on an indirect way home to Tauranga. When we pulled up abd looked at the trees my heart sunk - oh no has the cache gone? The trees had all been pruned. I scuffed around and around and then stood back all disappointed. Lo and behold the cache appeared in my vision. Had to laugh. Needs maintenance but concept is fantastic. Log also wet but writable. Thanks heaps for the cache.
Day #19 of 23 1/2 days in New Zealand on a geocaching holiday-trip covering Thailand, Australia and finally my beloved NZ .
Today’s rather short trip with mixed weather-conditions took me further up north from Mount Manganui [:X] to Hamilton .
Had to say goodbye to the beautiful Mount [:X], where I had spent two splendid days [^].
But I was also looking forward to visit Hamilton, as a personalized event was waiting for me there at the end of the day, organized by Cats&Dragons [^] .
Of course there were again some cool treasures hidden along the route and in Hamilton, that I loved to pick up .
Ended up with 12 finds , including a webcam , two great letter-boxes [^], a cute little multi-cache , several handsome traditional caches at the side of the road and of course "my" event in Hamilton.... Cool!
What an awesome idea and nice craftsmanship [^]! Had big fun to find this unusual little box [:o)] .
Hey - owners on the way up north and in Hamilton - you have cool caches [^] !
A big thanks [:X] to all Owners involved [^] for hiding and maintaining .
Cheers from Germany
