Having left Isla our geodog Isla at home and came touring NZ and to collect a few caches. Another easy find, and discovered the TB but it wants to go North we are heading South so left here. TFTC
This is a good location for a big cache. So dropped off a TB. Unfortunately all these caches off the stop bank do not make for a good bike ride so this was the last one we did.
Today we hired a bike for a tour around Hastings. There are some trails we want to do so off we go.
We found most of the caches in good condition, a few could need a little maintenance. And we must come back one more time, because we missed a few.
To all the CO’s, thanks for hiding and maintaining the caches.

I initially was searching in the wrong location but widening the search I quickly located this cache.

Found as a part of a previous group TanjackMüley, aka WanderingSparrow. Now I'm continuing on my own. TFTC
Unfortunately I lost the pen walking to this one and this is the only evidence I have of finding it. I hope it’s enough. Was a quick find with minor digging. Cache is in good nick tho. Tftc.
*Edit we returned 25/8/19 to sign.

This was a good sized container. Easily found. Picked up TB. Almost tempted by the make up remover kit, but sadly had nothing to swap for it. Oh well, we will have to carry on without. TFTC
We are away in our campervan just cruising the manawatu to Waiarapa then on to Hawkes Bay and return. During our tour we enjoyed travelling the quiet roads away from the main state highways. we enjoyed the bike trails around the Napier to Clifton and the inland trails up to Hastings and beyond, many of these trails of course were extra special because they had geocaches placed along them. Many thanks to all those who look after the caches. We hope you enjoy the same when you come into our area.
Sorry about the cut and paste if you have more than one geocache that we had found

Have been planning these caches for a few weeks in conjunction with HKCB for a mad dash and effectively a 24 hour run (so that we could spend time with our respective families) for the rest of the ensuing weekend.
Leaving Hamilton at 7pm Friday and getting home midnight on Saturday so that at least 6hours quality sleep was acheived, sleeping in the car is always a bonus (2 hours) and the remainder of the time caching around part of the country we hadn't previousley done a whole lot, but have left plenty for the next trip across the hill.
Starting a new day with only a drizzle outside and an early morning bike ride to boot.
This was the thirty first of the100+ that we acheived in that time we were over here. The Bonus was that we largely managed to stay dry, if only slightly damp on the outside.
Thanks to all the CO's for the effort and giving some great caches, sorry about the repetitive logs but then 100 is a few to cover off.
Had the place all to ourselves and even amanged to get back to the car dry
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

We had been talking about cache bash in Napier for a while, and when Cats&Dragons mentioned a trip down here this weekend I couldn't say no. The plan was to head down Friday night (leaving Hamilton about 7pm) and then cache til we can then grab a few hours sleep and then cache through til late afternoon and then head home. The plan worked well, with about 110 caches found over the 24 hour caching period.
It was the first time we had visited Napier to do a caching mission, and we were both impressed with the genius hides (some we hadn't seen before, I'll give a special mention to those ones). A big thanks to all the CO's whose caches we found, for placing and maintaining them. A great trip and looking forward to a revisit.

Away for a few days in the geocamper riding some trails and doing some caches. After overnighting at Clifton Reserve we headed out in the cool day. The cold front has moved in and pushed that old heatwave off the country to the relief of everyone. We set out with the intention of doing the trail beside the river. Mr S was riding the horse trail and Mrs S was on the cycle trail. He was making the finds. She was writing the logs. After starting with DNF's now Mr S is finding them all, on the horse trail is easier than clambering up and dow the stop banks.
Thanks for one more smilie ABCW2.

As our bikes were at home in Dunedin, this was a walk for us today, perhaps helpful for the caches off the cycle trail. A quick easy find of a good sized cache. TFTC
One week off during school holiday time, combined with some cheap flights made a great adventure in the HB and Gisborne area, popping into BoP a couple of times also. I had great fun and I am grateful to all CO's who placed the caches for others' entertainment!!
Today I decided to have a big day and see if I can break 50, and I did, even with a few extras! I decided to go for a bit of a walk too. TFTC!!

In the Bay for the long weekend, picking up a few caches with Allepousse in between doing a few other touristy things.

TFTTrail caches ABCW2. Took the TB and heading for a cool swim then indoors until evening.
A nice and quick find. Cheers.
I took my bike for a ride around Napier, Hastings and Havelock North today. Weather was a bit on the warm side, but had a great time anyway.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Did you know that planning has started for a Mega Event in Wellington in 2018? Check out the details on the [Wellington Event NZ (WENZ) Website](https://sites.google.com/site/wenzgeo2018/home) or visit the event's page on [FaceBook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/590545297801072/)
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn't be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn't take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.

Did a natural digging around the Fall debris. Found & dropped off 2 TB's. Thanks for the fun on the trail. It was a nice walk.
Cool! I spotted the obvious hiding spot from the bike trial above, so we all had a run to be the first. Running and laughing, heaps of fun with this one!
Big thank you!!
Big thank you!!
During Easter weekend we took an afternoon to cycle along the flood bank, and pick up this series.
A nice big tree!
Thanks
A nice big tree!
Thanks
Hubby had to come up this way for a couple of hours to help his sister move so I tagged along to grab this trail that I had been wanting to do, with the weather being in our favor we had a high chance getting most of these, we found all bar the first one, we learnt pretty quick which trail to be on and how lovely it was, we only passed muggles at the start after that it was quite, on one of the caches we came across a cattle stop, looked down and there was a hedgehog at the bottom, I had a thin pair of gloves that I used to get the poor guy out hopefully he wasnt in there too long, the caches were all in great order bar the last one asit had a cracked lid but good sized and enjoyable to find, thanks for the placement and bringing us here - sorry about the copy and paste logs.
Caching on bikes works well especially when you get the right track. Hot afternoon b u t great hide and accurate co ords making this a successful power trail tftc
I, along with LhutiNe, decided to Get on our Bikes and locate and sign off the caches along the Tukituki River bank. I needed them for a personal challenge.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
I was out with Tufty today on our bikes, doing this power trqil. It was very enjoyable.
Found while enjoying a morning ride on this excellent bike trail on a hot day. One of the quicker finds along the way, thanks ABCW2.
Biked the cycle trail finding caches on the way. Walked my bike down the bank to search for this one and as the rest of the caches were along or near the gravel track decided to get some practice riding on gravel. Nice hide, left cube key ring, took hand clapper. Cheers.
Love these straight forward caches. Not quite so keen on the way that I can't seem to get it right. I either stay on the cycle trail and end up doing lots of up and down to get to the GZ, or I try to ride my roadbike-with-skinny-tyres along the vehicle track so that it is easier for me to get to the caches. Each time I make the decision to change my modus operandi, the darn cache is nearer to the track I've abandoned! Thanks for placing the cache.
I was heading to Taradale for a gathering later in the morning, so loaded my bike into the car & headed off. I arrived at the start of the trail at 7.30 a.m. -- a lovely morning for a bike ride & fourteen caches - all straightforward finds. Thanks for the cache ABCW2, & for the Trail.
#5 and the bit of extra distance from #4 allowed me to get well in the pedaling rhythm.

Quick find but will have to be our last for the day as little miss 3 refuses to move
We love cache's big enough for tradeables! The kid's loved the trades today! Thank you for hiding the cache. Very fun day out!
Our last one for today. Spotted the likely hide and a quick sign on the log and on our way. Great to see a variety of caches on this trail. Look forward to coming back and finishing it off. Tftc
Cache quickly found and signed and replaced. Thank you for such a wide variety off cache types and sizes along this trail. Tftc
We are loving the way caches are being placed on this bike trail... we could see the ideal location for this hide from a fair way off. Geo dog's looking a bit knackered now, starting to slow down a bit and we are not even half way through the trail yet.
By the time I got to this cache the poor puppy was exhausted with the heat so decided to turn back once I replaced this cache. Will return to complete the trail!! TFTC.
Another good find while away in the area with Just-Lookin.
Soon had the cache found and log signed. TFTC

So by now, one of the scatty shelia's decides she has a new vocation to become the world's first geocouncellor to help with all those FTF woes, DNF issues and muggle problems etc. Greef, she has a problem, it ws her first day caching lol. TFTC
Nice to get down off the top track and amongst the trees, kids always love a trading cache too, and I was lucky enough to pick up a pet rock! TFTC
nice to have a variety of caches the kids big and little love to trade aroha and happy caching
Spotted lots of rabbit eyes shining in the dark tonight. It's actually quite a nice time to be caching (we're not usually keen on caching at night)
Left a pet rock - a lady bug.
Thanks for putting this cache here ABCW2

We decided to hop on our bikes today - a perfect school holiday activity for Mr 5, Miss 8 and Mr 8. We took off down the track and the older 2 enjoyed showing me the caches they had already found a few evenings ago. Your're right - this is a very busy track. A great little spot for a cache. TNLN SL TFTC!
[FTF] We returned on a beautiful windy HB morning to complete the trail. It is so lovely along here and we enjoyed our walk/ run. Thanks for a great trail where all the caches are a bit different. A trail well worth completing.
