Having left Isla our geodog Isla at home and came touring NZ and to collect a few caches. No problems here. TFTC
Found while trying to find a way to the river. No luck finding the river but came across some cattle.
Today we hired a bike for a tour around Hastings. There are some trails we want to do so off we go.
We found most of the caches in good condition, a few could need a little maintenance. And we must come back one more time, because we missed a few.
To all the CO’s, thanks for hiding and maintaining the caches.

Another quick find here. It's obvious the CO has put some thought and effort into all these hides which isn't going unnoticed by me. Thanks for a well thought out series.

Cycled off, tempted to stay down the bottom now! Seems like a pattern here. TFTC
We are away in our campervan just cruising the manawatu to Waiarapa then on to Hawkes Bay and return. During our tour we enjoyed travelling the quiet roads away from the main state highways. we enjoyed the bike trails around the Napier to Clifton and the inland trails up to Hastings and beyond, many of these trails of course were extra special because they had geocaches placed along them. Many thanks to all those who look after the caches. We hope you enjoy the same when you come into our area.
Sorry about the cut and paste if you have more than one geocache that we had found

Have been planning these caches for a few weeks in conjunction with HKCB for a mad dash and effectively a 24 hour run (so that we could spend time with our respective families) for the rest of the ensuing weekend. Signed most/all caches as HKCD or some such other that we could fit in
Leaving Hamilton at 7pm Friday and getting home midnight on Saturday so that at least 6hours quality sleep was acheived, sleeping in the car is always a bonus (2 hours) and the remainder of the time caching around part of the country we hadn't previousley done a whole lot, but have left plenty for the next trip across the hill.
Starting a new day with only a drizzle outside and an early morning bike ride to boot.
This was the thirty third of the100+ that we acheived in that time we were over here. The Bonus was that we largely managed to stay dry, if only slightly damp on the outside.
Thanks to all the CO's for the effort and giving some great caches, sorry about the repetitive logs but then 100 is a few to cover off.
Had the place all to ourselves and even amanged to get back to the car dry
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

We had been talking about cache bash in Napier for a while, and when Cats&Dragons mentioned a trip down here this weekend I couldn't say no. The plan was to head down Friday night (leaving Hamilton about 7pm) and then cache til we can then grab a few hours sleep and then cache through til late afternoon and then head home. The plan worked well, with about 110 caches found over the 24 hour caching period.
It was the first time we had visited Napier to do a caching mission, and we were both impressed with the genius hides (some we hadn't seen before, I'll give a special mention to those ones). A big thanks to all the CO's whose caches we found, for placing and maintaining them. A great trip and looking forward to a revisit.

Away for a few days in the geocamper riding some trails and doing some caches. After overnighting at Clifton Reserve we headed out in the cool day. The cold front has moved in and pushed that old heatwave off the country to the relief of everyone. We set out with the intention of doing the trail beside the river. Mr S was riding the horse trail and Mrs S was on the cycle trail. He was making the finds. She was writing the logs.
Thanks ABCW2.
Thanks ABCW2.
As our bikes were at home in Dunedin, this was a walk for us today, perhaps helpful for the caches off the cycle trail. A quick easy find of a good sized cache, as it was fully visible. We made it a little less obvious. TFTC
One week off during school holiday time, combined with some cheap flights made a great adventure in the HB and Gisborne area, popping into BoP a couple of times also. I had great fun and I am grateful to all CO's who placed the caches for others' entertainment!!
Today I decided to have a big day and see if I can break 50, and I did, even with a few extras! I decided to go for a bit of a walk too. TFTC!!

Lots of good trades for the kids today. Picked up the travel bug with the tiny croc shoe on it. Will bring somewhere new.
In the Bay for the long weekend, picking up a few caches with Allepousse in between doing a few other touristy things.
TFTC.

Once we realised where we were going, a good spot for the cache seemed apparent. Then it was in hand. TFTC!
#7 - Didn't spot any spiders so quickly grabbed cache from the hidey hole. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks
A nice and quick find. Cheers.
I took my bike for a ride around Napier, Hastings and Havelock North today. Weather was a bit on the warm side, but had a great time anyway.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

All good at GZ apart from split bag. Still - all dry as a bone.
Thanks for another smilie.

Another quick and easy (but still enjoying!) find. All dry and good, swapped some stuff.
During Easter weekend we took an afternoon to cycle along the flood bank, and pick up this series.
Thanks
Thanks
Hubby had to come up this way for a couple of hours to help his sister move so I tagged along to grab this trail that I had been wanting to do, with the weather being in our favor we had a high chance getting most of these, we found all bar the first one, we learnt pretty quick which trail to be on and how lovely it was, we only passed muggles at the start after that it was quite, on one of the caches we came across a cattle stop, looked down and there was a hedgehog at the bottom, I had a thin pair of gloves that I used to get the poor guy out hopefully he wasnt in there too long, the caches were all in great order bar the last one asit had a cracked lid but good sized and enjoyable to find, thanks for the placement and bringing us here - sorry about the copy and paste logs.
I, along with LhutiNe, decided to Get on our Bikes and locate and sign off the caches along the Tukituki River bank. I needed them for a personal challenge.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
I was out with Tufty today on our bikes, doing this power trqil. It was very enjoyable.
Found while enjoying a morning ride on this excellent bike trail on a hot day. Another generous sized container, thanks ABCW2.
I wasn't too keen to investigate this after all the wasp baits I'd seen, but it turned out to be a relatively straight forward find for me. Thanks for placing the cache and the trail
I was heading to Taradale for a gathering later in the morning, so loaded my bike into the car & headed off. I arrived at the start of the trail at 7.30 a.m. -- a lovely morning for a bike ride & fourteen caches - all straightforward finds. Thanks for the cache ABCW2, & for the Trail.
We love cache's big enough for tradeables! The kid's loved the trades today! Thank you for hiding the cache. Very fun day out!
Pfew the cows have really been at it recently! Made that part of our democratic run both aromatic and acrobatic. Great tradables! T1L1
Spotted what we thought would be a cool hide from the distance .... Only to get closer and realise it was the hiding spot lol. Great spot for a cache. Tftc
Started this series last week but got a flat tire half way through so i tried again today! nice easy find in a cool spot. TFTC
Spied where I thought this would be from a wee way away. Enjoying the trail and the walk in the fresh air. Tftc
OK... we missed this one, not because we couldnt find it but because I (Angel) didnt load it on the phone before heading out. Pfffft !! go figure! Oh well another good excuse to come back out another time, and also get our one DNF #3!!!! Although the dog mightn't be so keen LOL
Really enjoyed this bike trail with tmann421.
Great weather and a nice selection of caches.
TFTC and the series.

So the rain starts. Finally the scatty shelias see sense and decide it would be foolish to carry on. It clicked that we were getting further away from from the dryness of a ride home. A good laugh along with way but note to self 'cache with middle ages women at your peril'. TFTC
Enjoying our cycle ride along the sheep tracks. Kids stopped here for a bit of a play in the trees. TFTC.
Soon spotted a likely place to match the clue & there it was! Left a pet rock - a frog.
Thanks for setting up this awesome trail ABCW2. We love the trails that get you out doing a bit of exercise & enjoying the outdoors.

We decided to hop on our bikes today - a perfect school holiday activity for Mr 5, Miss 8 and Mr 8. The kids found this one without the gps as the hint gave them a pretty good clue! We had trouble getting through one of the gates because it was blocked by cows - thankfully a few more cyclists joined us and we herded them out of the way together. TNLN SL. TFTC!
[FTF] Scrambling up and down the bank to find caches. Great little hidey hole for a cache thanks for placing all of these.
