Having left Isla our geodog Isla at home and came touring NZ and to collect a few caches. Arrived at GZ and did not find, so widened my search checking likely spots till found. I then understood the hint, but I would not of thought that till then. TFTC
Had the afternoon off so decided on a walk in the sunny Hawkes Bay. Thanks. A clever hide
A nice hide here log was out of the cache placed it back best I could all dry. Found with xsaveya
Today we hired a bike for a tour around Hastings. There are some trails we want to do so off we go.
We found most of the caches in good condition, a few could need a little maintenance. And we must come back one more time, because we missed a few.
To all the CO’s, thanks for hiding and maintaining the caches.

I have seen a few of these hides before but I still enjoy finding hides like this. I took a moment to admire the cache container - nicely done!

Hard cache. Found surprisingly fast. Log is full so we squeezed our sign TM wherever possible. Tftc!
Clever clue. Quickly found a suspicious-but-charming cache. TFTC. Thanks to the automatic typing for the above comment that fits very well
We are away in our campervan just cruising the manawatu to Waiarapa then on to Hawkes Bay and return. During our tour we enjoyed travelling the quiet roads away from the main state highways. we enjoyed the bike trails around the Napier to Clifton and the inland trails up to Hastings and beyond, many of these trails of course were extra special because they had geocaches placed along them. Many thanks to all those who look after the caches. We hope you enjoy the same when you come into our area.
Sorry about the cut and paste if you have more than one geocache that we had found

Have been planning these caches for a few weeks in conjunction with HKCB for a mad dash and effectively a 24 hour run (so that we could spend time with our respective families) for the rest of the ensuing weekend. Signed most/all caches as HKCD or some such other that we could fit in
Leaving Hamilton at 7pm Friday and getting home midnight on Saturday so that at least 6hours quality sleep was acheived, sleeping in the car is always a bonus (2 hours) and the remainder of the time caching around part of the country we hadn't previousley done a whole lot, but have left plenty for the next trip across the hill.
Starting a new day with only a drizzle outside and an early morning bike ride to boot.
This was the thirty fourth of the100+ that we acheived in that time we were over here. The Bonus was that we largely managed to stay dry, if only slightly damp on the outside.
Thanks to all the CO's for the effort and giving some great caches, sorry about the repetitive logs but then 100 is a few to cover off.
Had the place all to ourselves and even amanged to get back to the car dry
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

We had been talking about cache bash in Napier for a while, and when Cats&Dragons mentioned a trip down here this weekend I couldn't say no. The plan was to head down Friday night (leaving Hamilton about 7pm) and then cache til we can then grab a few hours sleep and then cache through til late afternoon and then head home. The plan worked well, with about 110 caches found over the 24 hour caching period.
It was the first time we had visited Napier to do a caching mission, and we were both impressed with the genius hides (some we hadn't seen before, I'll give a special mention to those ones). A big thanks to all the CO's whose caches we found, for placing and maintaining them. A great trip and looking forward to a revisit.

Away for a few days in the geocamper riding some trails and doing some caches. After overnighting at Clifton Reserve we headed out in the cool day. The cold front has moved in and pushed that old heatwave off the country to the relief of everyone. We set out with the intention of doing the trail beside the river. Mr S was riding the horse trail and Mrs S was on the cycle trail. He was making the finds. She was writing the logs. Now that’s an interesting container. Very cool.
Thanks for another smilie ABCW2.

As our bikes were at home in Dunedin, this was a walk for us today, perhaps helpful for the caches off the cycle trail. A quick easy find of a nicely hidden cache, although extracting the log was a bit of a struggle. TFTC
All clear today & cache was spied as we approached-wasn,t til later the clue made sense!great hide -tftc
Every cow that could was gathered right at GZ so we decided maybe we would leave this one for another day-they did look friendly but when I saw some little horns I chickened out
One week off during school holiday time, combined with some cheap flights made a great adventure in the HB and Gisborne area, popping into BoP a couple of times also. I had great fun and I am grateful to all CO's who placed the caches for others' entertainment!!
Today I decided to have a big day and see if I can break 50, and I did, even with a few extras! I decided to go for a bit of a walk too. TFTC!!

In the Bay for the long weekend, picking up a few caches with Allepousse in between doing a few other touristy things.
TFTC.

Had to think about this one - read logs of others and engaged our brains. TFTC!
#8 - Good clue. All good at GZ. My favourite find in the whole series. TFTC. Fave point added.
A nice and quick find. Cheers.
I took my bike for a ride around Napier, Hastings and Havelock North today. Weather was a bit on the warm side, but had a great time anyway.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Nice clue gave us a quick find of this clever little cache. Earns a fav from us. Thoroughly enjoying our expedition. TFTC
Quick find here, by mistake more than anything.
Somebody started the second log at back - I am on page 23 and only a couple pages left. So to speak.
All dry, however new logbook required - another type I don't have and more spares with me - sorry CO.

Ufff, really had a good look but gave up after a while. Another quick stop on the way back, this time trusting GPS not the instinct. Hint wasn't any help for me, easier without! Completely different to the other caches today. I already hold it in my hands and wasn't sure if it is the cache!
During Easter weekend we took an afternoon to cycle along the flood bank, and pick up this series.
This was a bit different.
Thanks

Hubby had to come up this way for a couple of hours to help his sister move so I tagged along to grab this trail that I had been wanting to do, with the weather being in our favor we had a high chance getting most of these, we found all bar the first one, we learnt pretty quick which trail to be on and how lovely it was, we only passed muggles at the start after that it was quite, on one of the caches we came across a cattle stop, looked down and there was a hedgehog at the bottom, I had a thin pair of gloves that I used to get the poor guy out hopefully he wasnt in there too long, the caches were all in great order bar the last one asit had a cracked lid but good sized and enjoyable to find, thanks for the placement and bringing us here - sorry about the copy and paste logs.

Returned today to try and finish the series. Found it very quickly today and realised there are various interpretations of the hint. TFTC
Out biking although the rains a bit of a shame. Started this series at the Haumoana end. Enjoyed the well placed caches and hits. All fine till No 8 and the lightning. That defeated me and I headed home soaked.
I, along with LhutiNe, decided to Get on our Bikes and locate and sign off the caches along the Tukituki River bank. I needed them for a personal challenge.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
I was out with Tufty today on our bikes, doing this power trqil. It was very enjoyable.
Found with JoBevNZ and our Geo kids on bikes. Geo kid Sam (7yr) found this one as he'd seen one similar before- he was chuffed! All good at GZ.
Found while enjoying a morning ride on this excellent bike trail on a hot day. Cleverly done, a favourite for this one and the series, thanks ABCW2.
Had a different idea of what this would be before getting to GZ. Once the cache was found the clue made sense. TFTC
My riding along the gravel / cattle tracks are improving thanks to these caches. Took me a little while for the penny ( clue ) to drop. Cleaver hide. Cheers.
Once I found the cache, the clue made sense. Mind you it took me a long time to find the cache! I kept looking where I thought a cache could be hidden rather than trusting my GPS. Very clever. Thanks for placing.
I was heading to Taradale for a gathering later in the morning, so loaded my bike into the car & headed off. I arrived at the start of the trail at 7.30 a.m. -- a lovely morning for a bike ride & fourteen caches - all straightforward finds. Thanks for the cache ABCW2, & for the Trail.
A nice little nano and quite tricky too. We spent a lot of time looking around a tree that looked like it had been struck by lightning then only found it once we bolted away. Thanks for a great series of caches.
After completing the trail we wanted to go back and favourite our favourite find along the trail. We decided on this little hide. So here we give it a fav point TFTC
Decided to knock off another four caches on this trail today. We will attack the ones we have left from the other end another time. Mrs spotted this one quickly. Great little hide. Tftc
my aim was to knock the last of these ones off with my granddaughter but this is as far as we got at this point little miss was complaining I was carrying everything and decided I would come back another time Miss 5 did do well walking all this way mean nan aroha and happy caching
Having a great day out geocaching on bikes with Master 13 and geodog. Demons at home with the littlely. Loved this one... had me (Angel) thinking!!! Then a brainwave...took me back to a Pekapeka hide by Kiwiowl. TFTC
Really enjoyed this bike trail with tmann421.
Great weather and a nice selection of caches.
TFTC and the series.

We decided to hop on our bikes today - a perfect school holiday activity for Mr 5, Miss 8 and Mr 8. This was a fun one to find but I wished we hadn't read the hint as it made it too easy! Luckily we haven't seen any frisky cows today. TFTC!
[FTF] Really clever little hide along this trail. Lots of fun enjoying the HB sun and wind. A fav point for us for the incentive hide
