Having left Isla our geodog Isla at home and came touring NZ and to collect a few caches. Again did not present any problems. TFTC
So glad no animals around so far today tftc cache and log all good here found with xsaveya tftc
Today we hired a bike for a tour around Hastings. There are some trails we want to do so off we go.
We found most of the caches in good condition, a few could need a little maintenance. And we must come back one more time, because we missed a few.
To all the CO’s, thanks for hiding and maintaining the caches.

Another drop of the bike as I hunted for this one. Nice to be out of the wind and I'm really enjoying this series.

Qef. Perfect sized cache. Thanks for the placement. 'cache is wet and moldy' needs maintained
We are away in our campervan just cruising the manawatu to Waiarapa then on to Hawkes Bay and return. During our tour we enjoyed travelling the quiet roads away from the main state highways. we enjoyed the bike trails around the Napier to Clifton and the inland trails up to Hastings and beyond, many of these trails of course were extra special because they had geocaches placed along them. Many thanks to all those who look after the caches. We hope you enjoy the same when you come into our area.
Sorry about the cut and paste if you have more than one geocache that we had found

Have been planning these caches for a few weeks in conjunction with HKCB for a mad dash and effectively a 24 hour run (so that we could spend time with our respective families) for the rest of the ensuing weekend. Signed most/all caches as HKCD or some such other that we could fit in
Leaving Hamilton at 7pm Friday and getting home midnight on Saturday so that at least 6hours quality sleep was acheived, sleeping in the car is always a bonus (2 hours) and the remainder of the time caching around part of the country we hadn't previousley done a whole lot, but have left plenty for the next trip across the hill.
Starting a new day with only a drizzle outside and an early morning bike ride to boot.
This was the thirty sixth of the100+ that we acheived in that time we were over here. The Bonus was that we largely managed to stay dry, if only slightly damp on the outside.
Thanks to all the CO's for the effort and giving some great caches, sorry about the repetitive logs but then 100 is a few to cover off.
Had the place all to ourselves and even amanged to get back to the car dry
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

We had been talking about cache bash in Napier for a while, and when Cats&Dragons mentioned a trip down here this weekend I couldn't say no. The plan was to head down Friday night (leaving Hamilton about 7pm) and then cache til we can then grab a few hours sleep and then cache through til late afternoon and then head home. The plan worked well, with about 110 caches found over the 24 hour caching period.
It was the first time we had visited Napier to do a caching mission, and we were both impressed with the genius hides (some we hadn't seen before, I'll give a special mention to those ones). A big thanks to all the CO's whose caches we found, for placing and maintaining them. A great trip and looking forward to a revisit.

Away for a few days in the geocamper riding some trails and doing some caches. After overnighting at Clifton Reserve we headed out in the cool day. The cold front has moved in and pushed that old heatwave off the country to the relief of everyone. We set out with the intention of doing the trail beside the river. Mr S was riding the horse trail and Mrs S was on the cycle trail. He was making the finds. She was writing the logs. By this time it was raining very lightly, just enough to ensure that we got wet but not soaking and we were still a couple of k's from where we parked the camper. Well, c'est la vie. Carry on.
Thanks for another smilie ABCW2.

As our bikes were at home in Dunedin, this was a walk for us today, perhaps helpful for the caches off the cycle trail. It took a couple of circuits to find this sneaky hide, which although it was micro, was not a nano. TFTC
One week off during school holiday time, combined with some cheap flights made a great adventure in the HB and Gisborne area, popping into BoP a couple of times also. I had great fun and I am grateful to all CO's who placed the caches for others' entertainment!!
Today I decided to have a big day and see if I can break 50, and I did, even with a few extras! I decided to go for a bit of a walk too. TFTC!!

In the Bay for the long weekend, picking up a few caches with Allepousse in between doing a few other touristy things.

A quick easy find while on holiday in the area with Gone Fishing and the bikes. Tftc!
A nice and quick find. Cheers.
I took my bike for a ride around Napier, Hastings and Havelock North today. Weather was a bit on the warm side, but had a great time anyway.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Quick find.

Walked over from the other cache close by. Quick find and back to the bikes. This serie is so good! I really enjoy finding the different types and sizes
During Easter weekend we took an afternoon to cycle along the flood bank, and pick up this series.
A nice wee hide.
Thanks
A nice wee hide.
Thanks
Hubby had to come up this way for a couple of hours to help his sister move so I tagged along to grab this trail that I had been wanting to do, with the weather being in our favor we had a high chance getting most of these, we found all bar the first one, we learnt pretty quick which trail to be on and how lovely it was, we only passed muggles at the start after that it was quite, on one of the caches we came across a cattle stop, looked down and there was a hedgehog at the bottom, I had a thin pair of gloves that I used to get the poor guy out hopefully he wasnt in there too long, the caches were all in great order bar the last one asit had a cracked lid but good sized and enjoyable to find, thanks for the placement and bringing us here - sorry about the copy and paste logs.
Out biking although the rains a bit of a shame. Started this series at the Haumoana end. Enjoyed the well placed caches and hits. All fine till No 8 and the lightning. That defeated me and I headed home soaked.

Saw this one was up and running again some weeks ago, and this morning was a good day for a bike ride. A nice quick easy find. Cheers.

I, along with LhutiNe, decided to Get on our Bikes and locate and sign off the caches along the Tukituki River bank. I needed them for a personal challenge.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
I was out with Tufty today on our bikes, doing this power trqil. It was very enjoyable.
Found while enjoying a morning ride on this excellent bike trail on a hot day. Thanks for your maintenance on this one ABCW2.
Cache has gone missing again. Have replaced with a different type of cache which should hopefully last a bit longer. Located about 30cm from the last one
I searched high and low, even got a stick to remove dead leaves and spider webs, no sight of cache. Will wait for other logs, if there is a found I'll be back. Cheers.
I spent some time looking for this, both at my eye level and higher (thinking some of the others had been difficult for me to put back), but had no luck at all. It was my first DNF doing this trail, but I soon changed that Thanks for the trail
I was heading to Taradale for a gathering later in the morning, so loaded my bike into the car & headed off. I arrived at the start of the trail at 7.30 a.m. -- a lovely morning for a bike ride & fourteen caches - all straightforward finds. Thanks for the cache ABCW2, & for the Trail.
A lot of looking as per the hint was not working, but I finally spotted the cache a few metres away on the ground, but with no log book. I replaced it as per the hint and with a temporary slip of paper which should cover the next few finders at least.

We came in from the right angle for this one and the cache was spotted instantly TFTC
This was my third cache of the day, on my third bike ride next to my third river! Cache hid from me for a while, and as the sun went down I finally spotted it by torch light. As I rode back along the track I had a nasty accident after riding my bike at full speed straight in to a closed gate... This is not recommended!! I will survive to find another though!
Awesome little cache! Had to walk around a few times but i eventually found it! Unfortunately I forgot my pen so I couldn't sign the logbook:(
Was expecting a tricky search here but nope, spied the cache within seconds. Used a stick to dust off all the spider webs eeek! Tftc
oh nooooo! a Nano in a tree!!! Took a bit of a hunt to find, but there it is!! Had issues getting the log book out, but if future cachers use the sticky bit to keep log tight, it should bode well for the future. TFTC
Really enjoyed this bike trail with tmann421.
Great weather and a nice selection of caches.
TFTC and the series.

Checked on this one tonight and it has gone missing. Have replaced with the same and will change the type if it doesn't last.
had a pretty good look around without luck, then checked hint and narrowed my search. Still couldnt find it. In my defence though... if it is there... I had just had some suncreen drip in my eyes.. so could hardly see what I was doing!!
We decided to hop on our bikes today - a perfect school holiday activity for Mr 5, Miss 8 and Mr 8. We saved this one to do on our way back home as we realised we should have completed it straight after #9 instead of returning up the bank to our bikes. Just two of us headed down to search for this one...the other 2 sat on the wooden seat and fueled up for the ride home.
[FTF] Went for an off-road bike ride to meet back up with the trail to collect this one. Glad we had a tool to extract this cache. Thank you
