Everyone has had loads of time to log this now

I had this down in my calendar, but other commitments at the last day took me away and without access to update. Hope it went well!

I decided to pop down to Wellington for the long weekend and actually spend time in the city for a change.

Great to catch up with all the Wellingtonians again, I enjoy your company and your city, so will have to make more of a habit of coming down. Thanks for listening to the main event plans below all your support is greatrly appreciated, I look forward to seeing you there if not before.

#1720. Been at home all day painting and listening to the cricket. But needed to stretch my legs and be a bit social so caught the train into town and walked along waterfront to Macs Brewery. Ran into Mr wb1116 and another new cacher on the waterfront. We walked to the brewery and soon spotted Sophie and her sistema at the table. Nice to meet you and catch up with a few Wellington regulars. Enjoyed a beer, a feed, some caching stories and hearing some trip plans. My first event in over a month. Thanks for organising it. And thanks Henry and Edith for giving me a lift back to Ngaio, Cheers GSEL

I will confess to being lazy, I got my other half to drop me off before going to watch the cricket, and Henry and Edith very kindly gave me a lift back up the hill! Thanks for an excellent evening, it's good to hear about the MEGA coming together, and everyone's adventures up Mt Climbie!

#7516. Good venue on Taranaki Street. Enjoyed the catch up and meeting new folks. Great to hear the progress of the New Zealand Geocaching Adventure 2016. Looking forward to attending it in Turangi in October.

Out of our patch and randomly noticed there was an event in 300m from our accommodation. Rude nit to pop over for a beer! And half a multicache.....
