With a handful of munchkins and night descending, 1MinnieMoo and myself drove the few hundred metres from the last cache. At GZ it didn't take long until the beasty was in hand. The log is now very full but we managed to leave our marks among the previous finders.
Thanks for the cache 4ando

4/3/17, 6:47 pm Find #632
As it was getting late and we had geokids in tow, we drove from the previous cache to this one and parked nice and close. Headed on over and made a quick find, and found a very full logbook. Thankfully NyssaFlutterby managed to find a space to squeeze all our names in, then we were off for our last cache here tonight.
Thanks for the cache 4ando.

Easy to find, as this is my 1772nd cache I will share some trivia with you about the year of the same date.
In 1772 the following enter took place.
January 17
Johann Friedrich Struensee and Queen Caroline Matilda are arrested, leading to his execution and her banishment from Denmark.
June 9
Gaspee Affair: In an act of defiance against the British Navigation Acts, American patriots led by Abraham Whipple attack and burn the British customs schooner HMS Gaspee off of Rhode Island.
June 10 – Credit crisis of 1772 is triggered when, following the flight of their partner Alexander Fordyce to France, the London banking house of Neal, James, Fordyce and Down (which has been speculating in East India Company stock) suspends payment. The resultant panic causes other banks, particularly in Scotland, to fail, extends to Amsterdam and the Thirteen Colonies of British North America, and threatens the East India Company with bankruptcy.
June 22
Somersett's Case: Lord Mansfield, the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, delivers the decision that leads to the end of slavery in England.[2]
August 12
The volcano Mount Papandayan in West Java erupts and partially collapses, the debris avalanche killing several thousands.
August 21
A coup d'état by King Gustav III, is completed by adopting a new Constitution, ending half a century of parliamentary rule in Sweden and making him an enlightened despot.
As for the rest of the year, just like the area that would later be named Redcliffe,
Nothing much happened.
Thanks 4ando for the cache

Apparently there are pokemons here too! Not looking for them, but watching others do so. Hey, it is a great ruse for avoiding muggles!
Today we decided to head out on the bicycles and the Redcliffe area was our target.
Again another area with people everywhere.
They however were all focused on the Jetski racing in the opposite direction so we had no trouble retreiving this one.

Our first day out caching in quite a few weeks with the usual team of Nikid1, Lenore1972 & I. We decided to finish off the friends series so headed over the bridge to Redcliffe on a beautiful sunny Brissy winters day.
As we approached GZ we knew where to look it was just a matter of who looked in the right spot first. We are being very fair (purely by accident) & taking it in turns to find the caches so far today & it was my turn. I soon had the cache in hand, log signed & replaced as found.

Was out GCing with KerriMG & Lenore1972 today and decided to try and finish the friends series.
This was stop number 5.
Approaching GZ we could tell where this one was going to be. It was Kerri that approached from the right angle to claim the find. Log signed and replaced as found.

Guy in trousers, shirt and tie on way home from work took paddle board from back of car, stripped down and went for an afternoon paddle. Water was still and glassy. Now that's a great way to wind down and relax at the end of the day! TFTC
Get the right angle, behold the prize. Gathered from the back, so no muggle stares from the road. Tftc 4ando
Had a few funny looks from a bus driver as we bowed down to the almighty structure. It took three laps to find the cache! Tftc
I had been all the way up the shore line and across past the airport. A shortcut back through the centre of town brought me back to the coast and this series.
There really were not too many muggles about at all today.
A nice quick find here. This could have been a nasty one.

#PrimeFit - took the bike for a spin, a bit creaky and a few parts that squeaked and whined, but at least the bike was in perfect condition I've often wanted to ride the Hornibrook, so today I did. 33kms round trip. And since I was here anyway, I trundled along and picked up some Seinfields.
Thanks for placing this cache, 4ando. Found in good condition.
