Was out GCing with KerriMG & Lenore1972 today and decided to try and finish the friends series.
This was stop number 9, and DNF number 3. Not great numbers.
For a D1.5 we struggled here. We poked, we scratched and prodded. But no luck.
We will return.

We will return.
Our first day out caching in quite a few weeks with the usual team of Nikid1, Lenore1972 & I. We decided to finish off the friends series so headed over the bridge to Redcliffe on a beautiful sunny Brissy winters day.
Another DNF to add to our growing tally today! The three of us searched for quite a while but unfortunately couldn't find it today. There's plenty of good hidey holes around to look in as well.
We will be back! TFTC 4ando

Despite a lot of searching here in areas where it appears a lot of others had done a lot of searching we came up empty today. Might be a win for the cache blindness? Will return when there is a find. Tfth 4ando.
Found it. Nice day for a ride. T.F.T.C Unfortunately I could'nt sign the log because my pen ran out. I didn't feel like ride back to my daughter's house to get another pen. Next time I'll bring millions of pens in case.
After some previous DNF 's we were worried but there it was .
Got some nice pics .
Many thanks.

A great little series found with3LG and The X-Trailers. Cache in good condition. TFTC
This part of the path was the busiest today. Once again the search was short. a D1.5 only gets so much of my time.
Tftc thanks for bringing us to this beautiful spot, we found this one after a lot of looking you just have to be brave and dive in (not the water) I really liked this one
Found with finders 141 and geo dog rusty. Took us a long time but finally finders 141 called out those lovely 2 words. Found it. Was a very hard one to find. Tftc
After a DNF last night we could not let this one rest. After a dinner at the RSL we bought the whole geofam to help. 5 minutes on the job and we found the goods in a place we had all looked over twice. Donkey konga time baby. tftc
Dang it 4ando. You stumped us tonight and that is why you are geroes: Might have to come back in the day time
Couldn't find this one, despite a good look around. Lots of muggles so the look around could have been better.
Went for a quick walk along the beach to grab this one. Lots of people about, so a book helped me to out wait slow muggles. Found the container, and bag in ripped inside, but log is fine.
Thanks for the cache!

Geowife and I are out on our Sunday forage for Friends finds.
Was expecting a long search, but it wasn't long before I recognised something different in the leaf matter.

Tough Mothers Monday escape to Redcliffe couldn't find the particular dog, but did actually find the container.
Today I went caching with my mum's friends The Tough Mothers (misssusan79, bennyboppers, lisylou, jemillalucy and remsjw) and their kids (geokidtobias, geokidmadison, krazykrissy, geokidericca and geokidlexi. TFTC!

Mrs Just a Trifle was out for a day of caching with Rhyssa6 and Dutchie1950, primarily to complete the Episode Series of caches but to also pick up any others we came across along the way. After a few hours, we were joined by IolantheK which completed our day of fun and hijinks.
We mostly had pleasant weather for our day on the Redcliffe Peninsula, with just an occasional shower here and there to cool us down.
Thank you 4ando for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Mrs Just a Trifle, Dutchie1950 and I had now been joined by IolantheK to (hopefully) finish the series after a break for lunch.
This one certainly got us off to a tough start for the afternoon and it was thanks to the persistence of IolantheK that we were finally able to add our names to the log.

# 1310 - Met up with Mrs Just a Trifle at our usual meeting place, coffee at the ready, and made the trip to Redcliffe where we were going to attempt the Episode series together with Rhyssa6. IolantheK joined us after lunch and went back to the first few before going home.
All four of us had a thorough search, but only because IolantheK was more persistent than the three of us we could log a find.

I've finally caught up with Dutchie1950, Rhyssa6 and Just a Trifle today, and we are continuing our jaunt around Redcliffe [^]
Tenacity paid off for this one! I think I was the only still one looking when I made the find It's definitely there TFTC, 4ando.

We looked high we looked low .. Must be a little cache blind today. Thanks for bringing us here. We'll be back and hopefully more successful
I was doing a few things at Boondall this evening and it was raining very heavily for a fairly lengthy period of time. After I had finished what I was doing, I decided I still needed to grab a cache for the day to maintain my streak of finds. I looked at the radar on my dumb phone and it suggested whilst it was raining very heavily at Boondall, it wasn't raining at all on the Redcliffe Peninsula. I arrived at this one and gave it a good search for at least 10 to 15 minutes, looking in all the spots I could think of and feeling the ones where I couldn't see. I couldn't find it in the dark, but I had a good light on the area. I will be back to grab it another time.
**Smilie #3762**
Noticed a few new caches on the north-side so we thought we'd check them out & see if we could convert them to smilies on our map.
Poked, prodded, got pricked but it all paid off!
Signed & replaced as found.

The coords were pointing out on the beach , but I applied some logic and the wee beast was soon in hand .

This cache was found in good condition after a short search, and adds to our total of 2266 smilies. Thanks **4ando** for showing us this spot. Discover our trackable TGQNRV

Tricky one, thanks 4ando

A quick trip to the peninsula and I had time to pick up a few more of the series while I was here. A close park helped with this one and I spotted the cache quickly.

On the way home from work thought I'd stop and get this one. saw lots of DNf and thought Hard don't bother but then I thought I'm up for the challenge. poked my hands and lots of holes and eventually found.
Looked high. Looked low. It started to rain and I ran into one of the leaves. Called the search there. Will try another day
Headed to this one next.
Sat down and waited till coast was clear.
I wandered around and had a quick feel and came up with the cache.
Took away to sign the log.
Returned to spot where I found it.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks 4ando All good with this cache

I came to the peninsula today just for this new series of caches that was published earlier in the week. It was a beautiful but hot and breezy Brissie beachfront today. This cache frustrated me somewhat as there were a lot of hidey holes. Eventually I looked in the right place and located the container. TFTC 4ando.
