Logs
We wanted to find a multi today and this one was close to an event that we attended. Met up with Lazarus_68 after the event and proceeded to stage 1. Found what we were looking for quickly enough, moved on to stage 2 and we soon had the final calculated. A short walk later and the cache was in hand. Signed the nice new log. TFTC.
Encouraged to do this whilst attending geo event held close by, following footsteps of Henry&Co, earning virtual souvenir for the weekend. TFTC!
Finally!
I've had my eye in this one for a while. I have friends that live at the waypoints, so I've had plenty of opportunity to solve. The first few times the coordinates were clearly wrong and I couldn't figure out what I had done wrong.
About a month ago I ended up at the final. "What a great place for a cache, I should get around to placing one here."
With the souvenir this weekend, and the unpredictable weather I decided to give this one another try.
After re-reading the instructions for the virtual I realized what I did wrong. Sure enough, the coordinates made much more sense this time and I was able to make the find (and the geokid enjoyed the location too).
