Logs
So appropriately, just as we arrived a cute little dog went tearing past us in ultra boost Crazy zoomy mode & off in to the distance, down the beach, no owner to be seen. He looked quite happy & free, not frightened; we wondered if he came from Old Macdonald's Crazy farm! The cache was found but absolutely empty of anything. Used a scrap of paper/litter for an impromptu log, as I had nothing with me but a pen. TFTC! I'm sure the dog was exceeding the speed limit!
Found the red box but nothing in it ? Will return later to replace the log
When you are on holiday, especially in another country, you obey the road rules because you dont want to end up in precarious situations. When I see a speed limit on a road I tend to obey them. The drivers along here only treat it as a recommended limit because they were fanging by at a rate of knots.I dont know how fast a knot is, and I failed knots in the Boy Scouts, so I can only assume the speedometer in the rental car was faulty. It also meant no one was slowing down to peek at us. Just the way we like our voyeuristic activities. tftc
No sign of denis dog. Bison gone. Container pretty wet but log dry and intact. Tftc
Even after making the find I don't know who Debbie is or what this has to do with Old McDonald but there was a cache here so I signed it. Out for a cheeky bike ride from Napier to Clifton and back again. TFTC
We parked in the reserve which was nice. Super quick grab for the cache. Thanks for the smiley .
Hello from Seattle, geocaching ground zero!! Quick find while my muggle travel mates are testing some wine. log is full.
Wow, finally I found one. Sometimes it takes some and then it is much easier to find caches.TFTC,bahaMAfive
We travelled to Hawkes Bay from Taupo today, and it was quite an experience to witness first hand the damage caused by Cyclone Gabrielle. We are staying in an airbnb not far from here, and with some time to spare before we check in we are finding some of the local caches. We parked nearby, and it did not take long to find Debbie. The cycleway seems popular today despite the windy weather. TFTC
Very cute, and a nice private spot to park ️
Enjoyed this success after a DNF and also not being able to get to the gannets

Love it!! Don't love the spider that is ran on my hand though put some treasures in there as it was empty.
Wandering in Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay between Easter and Anzac day. Found it on my route.
Well constructed!

Another nice quick find on my way out from the TMGT cache today. Pity not to see this in its full glory. TFTC # 18,273
Stopped off to vsiit Old McDonalds Crazy Farm. Relaced damp manky logs with temp RITR log to help this one along. Cheers.
Day 16, Friday 4 February - Napier - Te Awanga - Clive - Napier. Picking up the last couple of GTs and a few others in the vacinity. Then out of town to Palmerston North for the night for a sleep over with my friends the Etherlord kids. Lets move Toby and Lenny!
Zara, Toby, Lenny and I are on our North Island expidition for a couple of weeks. Got The Seagnoid along for the first 4 days, heading to the Auckland Mega. PWGTs and TMGTs are on the radar for this trip. Lots of driving on gravel roads and visited lots of amazing places on our 6000km road trip snagging 200+ caches along the way. Visiting Cape Reinga, Bay of Islands, Gisborne and White Rock along our journey. The highlight cache for the trip was GC815zh Journey to Pandora (night cache in Ack) Another awesome trip. Thanks to all CO's.

Found it easily. At first it looked as though the log hadn't been put into the plastic bag but it turned out that the original log is soaked through and there is a small piece of paper in the really big plastic bag.
I had a bit of trouble trying to find Debbie. It didn't help that I was hunting 10m away...
I was supposed to go to the mega. Which got postponed, so I cancelled my arrangements, but labour weekend is still a three day holiday... but car hire was too expansive. So I decided to make it this weekend for a road trip to Napier, to mop up the TM- and PW- GTs there.

We went for a beach walk before heading to a lunch and wine tasting at Clearview. Beautiful autumn weather, crisp and clear. Cache found without problems. Nice house. Thanks for hiding.
With such a lovely home to live in, it was surprising this cache was so damp. Thanks for the placement.
Thank you for another animal placement...not having much luck sending them home!!!
Walked along the foreshore for a while what great test for the ankles and calves...good co ords lead me straight to the hide..signed and replaced as found..I enjoyed the view down the coast linemany thanks
We are parked in the freedom camping area and walked along the beach. The stones give you a good workout. About here we came up off the beach and of course a cache or three. Nice construction of the cache. Thanks for the placement
Great cache. Thank you. Lovely walk to find it also. A little windy but would be too hot otherwise
One of nine caches located today (not including the four credited for an Adventure Lab late morning) on day 7 of our motorhome summer holiday to Hawkes Bay. This was one of five caches we found on a bike ride in the Clifton Road area, not far from our base for the night. A reasonably quick find, but the logbook was very soggy! A rather novel hide! #3688. TFTC.
#1356. Third of the Clifton caches found this afternoon with geo granddaughter and GB Leader after grandson’s cricket match at Clifton County Cricket Club. The larger part of the cache has been blown from the tree, and the log container was on the ground. Signed the log and resited appropriately in the most logical place.

Staying at Clifton beach campground for 4 nights.... yesterday I walked up Te Mata peak and back down the long way and really lucked out with the caching by only successfully finding 1. Today I am up early and out on my bike as the others want to head into Napier shopping...so I have to be back by 10.
Cute cache.... TFTC TheBrightSparx

TFTC. Log isn't in the best condition though, seems like water got into the ziplock bag.
Out and about with AliGle today, exploring the area on a couple of hired bikes and looking for a few geocaches along the way. Another quick find here, TFTC!
