I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi TheBrightSparx
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Did a night search for this cache on the way back to Te Awanga. Pretty sure it is not there.
No chance here, even looking at pictures from older logs we couldn’t find anything.
Found a very munched up animal, I think some ones dog had a game with it. Out with Tokerau
Found It. But looks like harold has been attacked by old mc donald's dog. ️ Might need replacement.tftc
This cache definitely needs replacing but thanks for the creative hide! Like others, we weren’t able to sign. But we definitely found it!!
Thanks for your amazing cache.
Poor Harold has no log. He has seen better days.
Unable to sign.

Harold was having a rest on the ground with some bits of log book close by. See pic. Placed back as found. Didn’t sign a log.
Lots of people out in the sunshine using the bike trail today, quick find between riders, TFTC
Not sure where Harold is suppose to be hiding...I suspect he may have decided to go to ground. TFTC
Out for an afternoon stroll to get some caches in this area..its my first visit to this part of the world and its unique scenery a nice fast find of this novel camo ..thanks cache all good
Harold was nicely tucked away here and pleased to have company briefly. All good here thanks.
Found running away on the ground. It is placed up a little off the ground now to try and encourage him to stay still. Good cache although fiddly.
Last of nine caches located today (not including the four credited for an Adventure Lab late morning) on day 7 of our motorhome summer holiday to Hawkes Bay. This was the last of five caches we found on a bike ride in the Clifton Road area, not far from our base for the night. I picked ‘it’ up and decided there was nothing in it! After further searching, Mrs tbird picked it up and decided it actually contained the logsheet! #3692. TFTC.
Quick find but seems the container is damaged. No log inside so I added a temporary one. CO might want to check this out. TFTC.
Out and about with AliGle today, exploring the area on a couple of hired bikes and looking for a few geocaches along the way. Made a quick find of the cute cache here. TFTC!
Staying in the Hawkes Bay with Vistra for a few days and grabbing a some caches in the local vicinity. Today we hired cruiser bikes and caching on two wheels. Hoping for a wine stop or three. Love the container. TFTC
I decided to use the opportunity of having a quiet few days off work over Xmas to drive over to the Hawkes Bay in order to be a cacher in that region for the first time.
Often, as a cacher, you can approach a cache with a certain expectation gleaned from a title or the Hint. I'm not sure what images are conjured up by the name Harold, but I wasn't expecting what I found.
The Hint made it a quick and easy find at GZ. The log was signed without issue, but trying to get it back inside Harold was trickier than you'd expect!
Thanks for setting this cache up, and I wish you a happy and prosperous 2021

Found Harold looking the worse for wear. He’s been attacked and is feeling very poorly. He needs attention before the hyenas start feasting on him. Tftc
Have come from Tauranga with a cycling group to do some of the amazing trails here. And for us to get a few smileys whilst we are here as well... Well we were looking for crazy farm animals and we found one. Log was a bit poorly, but waterproof paper saved the day. We added a new plastic bag as well. TFTC
Thanks TheBrightSparx for the cache. It’s #1342 for us. We found your cache on 10 November 2020. Desperately needs owner attention
Over in the area and had a bit of time to fit in a couple of caches while here. Sadly this cache is in dire need of servicing as it has been ripped apart and there is also no log. The area is so clean I couldn’t even find a piece of scrap paper to sign and put in it lol TFTC
Sadly, I believed this has been muggle. Possibly even by rodents looking for nesting material ️ See photo
Sadly, Harold is no more, he has gone to meet his make, he has shuffled off his mortal coil.
Couldn't find log to sign, so took photo.

On our wonderful camper trip around this amazing country we visited so many beautiful places an stunning landscapes. A amidst these hills, mountains, beaches and grass lands were also a few boxes waiting for us to be discovered. This one was one of them.
Thanks for hiding

Today we rented bicycles to go from Napier to Clifton. Unfortunately the tide was not good to visit the gannets, but we had a nice lunch close to the ocean. On the way back we searched for a few caches. In the end we saw some animals though (both alive and as toy). Thanks!
We arrived in Napier this morning on board the Celebrity Solstice and went for a lovely bike ride down the coast to a few wineries. It didn’t look like I was going to be able to grab a cache back in town before getting back on board so I nabbed this one instead. The stuffing’s been knocked out of Harold a bit! Thanks for the cache and greetings from the UK.
Harold is starting to so his age and the time spent in the outdoors is not treating him well. A nice quick find today with Ms_KR. Logs mostly signed MK+KR.
Christmas holiday road trip to Auckland. Day four, from Palmerston North to Napier.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

With KR. 5.30 drizzle. All good but I think I might be hearing the call of the knitting needles. Tftc
It was getting rather late but I was crazy enough to keep going and collect a few more! TFTC!!
(# 5515). On a trip up to the Bay to grab a few caches and took check out a work mate who up here to play cricket for Wellington A. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
Wasn't where I thought it would be but once I looked in the right I spotted him. Fav point for the container. Tftc
I didn't realise that was looking for an Old MacDonald cache so was pleasantly surprised to see the cache container. The light is fading fast this evening so I was pleased with a quick find that put a smile on my face.

Harold needs a bit of attention. The log is missing and Harold looking a bit weathered. But fun easy grab. Thanks!!
Haven't seen many "Harold's" in his hiding spot before. Kids are loving finding the caches tftc
Harold had fallen and lay feet up and has lost the lid. Replaced him as per hint and tried to stuff something as a weather protection.

We are away in our campervan just cruising the manawatu to Waiarapa then on to Hawkes Bay and return. During our tour we enjoyed travelling the quiet roads away from the main state highways. we enjoyed the bike trails around the Napier to Clifton and the inland trails up to Hastings and beyond, many of these trails of course were extra special because they had geocaches placed along them. Many thanks to all those who look after the caches. We hope you enjoy the same when you come into our area.
Sorry about the cut and paste if you have more than one geocache that we had found

last day over in the bay, slowly making making my home, enjoying these finds with lovely weather.
thanks for bringing me here and taking the time to place the caches.

Have been planning these caches for a few weeks in conjunction with HKCB for a mad dash and effectively a 24 hour run (so that we could spend time with our respective families) for the rest of the ensuing weekend.
Leaving Hamilton at 7pm Friday and getting home midnight on Saturday so that at least 6hours quality sleep was acheived, sleeping in the car is always a bonus (2 hours) and the remainder of the time caching around part of the country we hadn't previousley done a whole lot, but have left plenty for the next trip across the hill.
This was the ninteenth of the 25 prior to sleep and 100+ that we acheived in that time we were over here. The Bonus was that we largely managed to stay dry, if only slightly damp on the outside.
Thanks to all the CO's for the effort and giving some great caches, sorry about the repetitive logs but then 100 is a few to cover off.
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache.

We had been talking about cache bash in Napier for a while, and when Cats&Dragons mentioned a trip down here this weekend I couldn't say no. The plan was to head down Friday night (leaving Hamilton about 7pm) and then cache til we can then grab a few hours sleep and then cache through til late afternoon and then head home. The plan worked well, with about 110 caches found over the 24 hour caching period.
It was the first time we had visited Napier to do a caching mission, and we were both impressed with the genius hides (some we hadn't seen before, I'll give a special mention to those ones). A big thanks to all the CO's whose caches we found, for placing and maintaining them. A great trip and looking forward to a revisit.

On a winery cycle ride, looked in the obvious but wrong place at first, then Mrs S made the find, grrrr that's two in a row now! Interesting host, I can see now where this series is going. Tftc.
Away in the Geocamper for a few days down Napier Hastings way taking the bikes and riding the trails and doing some caches. Mrs S got out to find this one but Mr S had to come and make the find, and he found it straight away. Blah, hate that. The log is full and a bit scrappy. Could do with a new one.
Thanks TheBrightSparx.
Thanks TheBrightSparx.
It took a while to spot this cache, which was quite obvious when approached from the right direction, perhaps slightly higher than hinted. Start at the power pole. We removed the pieces of mushy log and added a small waterproof sheet. TFTC
Nice cache box, now I understand the name .
Also nice place near by to stay with motorhome

Struggled to find Harold. He was on the floor and we were looking up. Found him and logged him
