A nicely made cache here that courtneyrose_ throughly enjoyed finding. Cache is well made and is all goodCourtneyrose_ and I headed fora weekend away to Kangaroo Island, we came to check out the sights plus to compete in the Marathon. A great weekend away with a few caches found along the way. Thanks for the cache
Amanda is working for a while in KI and Ive come down to visit for a week. Doing our best to discover every cache on the island during our time. Walking and driving around Kingscote today to explore and grab as many as we can. Love the hiding spot. Very clever and gets a favourite from us TFTC
We have arrived on Kangaroo Island for a 5 day break. We first had this trip planned several years back but that year KI had an extreme fire situation happen and we were offered a refund on our trip which we took. We have waited this long so that the island could regrow and show herself at her best. We have been using geocaching to guide us around and two days into our break we can certainly attest to her beauty. The caching has been interesting and we have many earth caches to write up and send to COs. All the caches we have found so far are in good condition. We did replace one log sheet. SL TFTC
Over in Kangaroo island for a weeks fishing trip with a few caches along the way. A quick grab on the way to the ferry. TFTC

Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in late Tuesday night then packed the Geowagon and headed off to SA early Wednesday morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Well after crossing the border the other day and staying in Millicent, Wellington, Cape Jervis and the Kingscote last night its now time to slowly head back towards Penneshaw to catch the ferry back to the mainland.Kangaroo Island has been on my bucket list for years and Roaming Howie had to squeeze back into the Geowagon put up with my driving and poor navigation for another day.Continuing along with our Geocaching expedition and visiting the Flinders Chase NP in the South West corner of the islandyesterday was one of the highlights of the Island. We will see what we can find on the slow trip back today and I didnt realise that the island so so big and I also didnt realise that Kangaroo Island was the first permanent settlement of South Australia even if it lasted only 4 years.A very interesting read on the cache notes that I did not know about.Roaming Howie had this found before I got out of the Geowagon. The cache was soon located and we added our names to the log and on to the next one. Thanks brirsch TFTC.
A nice quick find between visiting the old Wisanger school and the wool shop. Some nice wine nearby if this cache made you thirsty! TFTC

Too close to Islander Estate not to find this cache! Easy find, thanks for bringing us here. All great at GZ. Log signed and replaced as found no problems. Great hide!
We were on our way to Seal Bay today, taking in the sights and delights of KI. Stopped at this one along the way. The GPS lock had me going back and forth. Then she read the hint and I just walked right over to it. Cache in great condition, FP for the work on this one. Well done bririsch

This is a clever little hide. Lots of sheep next door thinking the lambs are ready to be drafted. TFTC
Day 2 of a 6 night visit to the Island. Today the weather was perfect. A clever hide and drooling mouth with the onlookers across the road. Just needed roast potatoes and gravy. Thank you for the placement of the Feeling Sheepish cache bririsch find number 8450 on 10 September 2021 at 5:38 pm
We have never tried sheeps milk, but lambs love it so it can't be too bad. We saw a ewe and her twins on the road over near Seal Bay turn off,j use sitting together on the side of the road, we were going to stop but we culdsee a ute coming out of the paddock so we guessed the escapees would be on their way home shortly.
The sides of the road are quite wet with all the rain Kangaroo Island has been getting, we came dressed and ready for all weather on Monday and had wet weather jackets and rubber boots too.
Thanks bririsch for theclever cache. Adding to the enjoyment of our Kangaroo Island trip.TNLN

Mr and Mrs Parrot took a trip overseas to Kangaroo island for the week.
We had a lovely time finding caches and interacting with the people selling produce and food to the public.
It fabulous to see the green starting to come back into the fire ravaged areas. We had hired a house in Kingscote and ventured out each day in a different direction to see the sights and what the island had t off.
We also picked up 60 odd caches along the way.
My thanks for the quick responses to the Geocaches and the virtual cache which we sorted out before logging.
It was good to be able to complete Wonders of the world and become an Ultimate Explorer during my stay.
The sheep where a long way from the gate today

What a great weekend! Geocaching and the KI Marathon. We’ve left a new log book as well as the other one as it is still wet. TFTF.
Log was very wet and slimey I think the poor log book is in need of attention. Big centipede was hiding with the cache and didn't seem happy I'd moved his home. TFTC clever hide.
Found It!
A quick find here on this neat little hide. No sheep to be seen here today.

Over at KI for SES duties doing Rapid Damage Assessments on the properties affected by the recent fire. Today our team of 12 volunteers in 6 vehicles covered over 500sq km of properties in 10 hrs around Parndana. After finishing the work I headed down this road on the way back to BaseCamp near the Kingscote Airport and grabbed this cache on the way through. A neat camo that was found thanks to the hint. Fav point for the idea!
Live this one. We once were bamboozled by a similar one elsewhere! Great camo. Tftc
Wow what a great hide! Found nice and easily while exploring the area and caching! Tftc
Having some R&R in Kangaroo Island, staying with Dunmowin during the Christmas New Year week. Today we headed out to do some sightseeing and of course grab a few caches. Nice Camo and a fav point for the effort gone into this one. TFTC
Cool camo! Such a shame that the dairy is now closed. It was quite novel.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
We are here visiting, house and farm sitting for three months. There are only 89 caches on the island. Hope we get smilie faces on all of them.
Now we are on the farm for the next four weeks, and have to chase caches for the 321GO Souvenir
Felt a bit sheepish searching for this one. About four metres out, but Oh So obvious. thanks bririsch for the hide

Found by The Marathon Man and pnutbeagle on our 3-month Australia holiday after travelling from snowy and cold Northern Ontario Canada. Now trying to log a week worth of geocaching finds
The cache was found as we travelled around Kangaroo Island KI, SA. Today we travelled from Stokes Bay, KI then ending the day near Emu Bay, KI, SA. This was one of 1 DNF's and 21 finds today - Most of the finds were quickly found.
Great cache - easily found since it was not level - fixed so it looked natural

Udderly fascinating. Nice cache. The dairy looked closed today. Might have been the weather.
Over on the island for work and decided to map out some caches on my way to jobs.

Brilliant hide this one!!! The container is cracked, but it simply doesn't matter with this hide. We are particularly keen to sample the sheep's milk cheeses and such, hopefully tomorrow.
Its been a few years since I visited Kangaroo Island, so I headed off for a break for a few days and the chance to grab a few caches.
I managed to find a nice selection of caches over three days in some great places. Its a very relaxing and scenic part of the world!
This was a quick find and a nice hide. A favourite point for the effort that has been put into this.
Thanks bririsch for the cache.

Cleaning up a few other caches on KI before we leave in a couple of days. Found and signed.
That’s a cool cache! The beautiful wrens flicking their tails nearby just added to the excitement. Took path tag and travel bug. TFTC!
Cache #1742.
I & J plus the little one went to Kangaroo Island for Easter holiday 2018. We spend 4 nights and 3.5 days there and really enjoyed visiting KI.
We tried about 20 caches, and found most of them. This was our sixth found in KI.
On our way to Stokes Bay, we made a small detour to visit the dairy farm, and found this cache.
It was a well-designed cache. Some beetles living there as well. Container seals well. Signed the log, and hid it back.
Thanks for the cache, bririsch.
