It would seem that some charming person has defecated right on or near GZ.
Add this to the recent Maintenance log, dated 3 months ago, which seems to have gone without response & perhaps this cache needs archiving?

The log is wet and the contents are rusted and waterlogged. It’s a good spot wouldn’t like to see this one archived.
After a couple of failed attempts, I took Mornington with me and we found it. A nice neat hide. TFTC
Nice find! After a bit of searching and reading the hint, was eventually able to reach the cache.
Out for a late start of Geocaching, Mr Mystery Sleuth injured himself overnight and has been allocated to Navigator in the car, where he must stay.
So Mrs Mystery Sleuth is hands solo. Quickly arrived at suitable parking location, due to hubby's awesome navigating skills.
Off toddled Mrs Mystery Sleuth and soon had Cache in hand. Cache was missing log sheet, so a temporary piece of paper was added, so it can be used in the interim, until CO can replace log.
Many thanks for bringing us here. TNLNSL TFTC

Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers in the Robina Area and this was one we found. We thought from the last couple of logs we may be in for a long search, but there it was safely tucked away. TFTC

Caching in the area with whitewebbs and this was one we found.
Took some time but came up with the goods, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Well this took a while. Selva Girls and I were clearing areas on the map and pulled up hoping for a quick find here. Nope. Using the hint and reading the logs we hunted left, right, new track, old track, low, lower, and then did it all over again. We finally had to resort to a PAF who directed us back to somewhere we had already looked, but not well enough. We should have climbed to a different spot to see from a better angle. We added our names to the log (finally) and continued on our way. Tftc Denver
Out finding a few caches with stortigirls. We searched high and low, up and down, both sides of the path, Then we die it all over again. With so many hiding places here, it was easy to spend ages searching, particularly if you are concentrating where your phone is telling you but your phones is putting you in the wrong spot. Finally, we resorted to a PAF. We were sent back to a spot we had searched early on, before our phones insisted that we search elsewhere. A better look revealed the cache safely tucked away. With our names added to the log and the cache returned to its spot, we continued on our way. TFTC
Found it very quickly with the hint - tucked away in its cave. No problems at all. Beautiful day and lake. Thank you!
Found @2:34:00 PM.
A quick find while on our souvenir hunt.
Thanks

Another perfect final Autumn day for a trip to Robina while at the Gold Coast for a week.
Lots of muggles around today and a few more good safe hides.
Just wher I would have put it too.
Thanks for the cache ~Denver~,

Visited here last year and saw what appeared to be a reptilian tail disappearing between the rocks. Dropped by on the way home from the beach as the nights have cooled down and some creatures may be in bed. No sign of scaley tails today although we did find a dumped motor scooter near GZ but it was too difficult for us to remove. Looked 20cms away at first and didn't see it, finally backtracked and was more thorough (they're only spider webs) and spotted the cache. Both the contents in the bubble container and in the larger one are dry. We extracted log and found it to be a new blank one, signed and replaced. TFTC
So many rocks that I was not happy with searching under especially when previous logs mention snakes.
Found after a bit of searching around. Found the lid to the bubble container nearby so I put the log back inside it and replaced the lid. Also emptied the water in the bigger container. TFTC
Found after looking for a bit. Well hidden location. Cache lid was full with water, and I guess over time water has leaked into the container, as other geocachers have logged. Log was in small plastic bag so was OK to write on. Nice little suburban view spot, cheers.
Having mixed success with lake caches this morning. . . But found this one quickly! TFTC
A little uneasy going into this area because of the last two logs, but here i go. Quick find with a swap showing through for me to see. Replaced log and added a plastic bag. Log signed and replaced again. Found at 4.20pm on 1.10.2017. TFTC.
Gave up the search when spotted I was in the company of a slowly retreating reptile tale. From my own experience with snakes, it appeared to be a Rough-scaled snake, we have seen them on my acreage. Small snake that has been fatal. No way I was sticking my hand in small caves between the rocks!! This year has been too mild, the snakes are out early. I will return next winter.
Sadly we are going to report a DNF on this. I gingerly climbed down the slope while the other half of the team stay at the top and worried. I couldn't really rely on my phone app but the geosences failed and it did not appear to be in any of the hollows I checked, and there are a lot of hollows.
Maybe next time, thanks for bringing us here.

I gingerly rock hopped down the slope and then stopped to read previous logs and the hint and then sat down and put my hand straight onto the cache.

wowzers!!! Too many nooks and crannies to check by far. started at the bottom and couldnt find it... finally read some logs, reassessed and had it in hand quickly after that. Very wet inside but managed a scribble. Took a TB that want logged in there anyway...I will log it in one of mine at home in Wardell. Put in a couple of plastic bugs...TFTC
Lovely spot. Tftc. Do take the hint literally as you need to veer off the main path a bit. Hope that helps.
This is a nice little spot tucked away here at the end of this park. It was an easy find today thanks to the hint, and I was signing the log there was a cool breeze blowing across. The container had some water in it but the log is still nice and dry.
Thanks to ~Denver~ for the cache.

This is a nice view of the lake so TFTC ~Denver~. I made the mistake of looking at the hint as it sent me further than my geosense wanted me to go. But a good hide so thanks.
After being laid up for a couple of weeks it was good to get out and about down the GC a place I rarely visit let alone cache. Great to discover the back blocks around Robina and surrounds.
Yes my CB discovered this one

The promise of balmy weather and so we headed south to the goldie for a, er, gentle caching run. A couple of nice walks and the obligatory tree climb and naturally there was beer and a thunderstorm somewhere along the trail
This was the first stop of the day as we missed a turnoff. The cache was soon in hand and admired the lake and on we rolled. The tally came out at roughly 20 or so logged finds today. Hoping that today's fun in the sun will entice me to stay indoors and study tomoz
Retrieved an interesting TB from this cache.

On the Gold Coast for an extended weekend. My sister in law lives nearby and has a geoyak. I went out with my nephew to find a few caches around the lake. The most difficult part was parking the geoyak to get out to find each cache. This was the second cache we found. It was exposed and didn't have a log inside. Fortunately I had a piece of paper which I signed and placed in the cache. Then Placed the cache further in than it was and placed a rock in front of it. Dropped off a TB and visited others. TFTC
Another nice quiet little corner of the world, log was wet as there was no lid on the inner container.TFTC.
Catching up on some late logs from our recent trip to Qld, and out with Happy Feet this morning grabbing a few caches and we made our way to the gz and found this sodden cache after a very short search, a little exposed but other wise we hid it the best we could. Thanks ~Denver~ for the hide.
Up grabbing a few early morning caches before too many muggles. A quick enough find but even though there are 2 containers it is wet and needs some TLC from owner.
Thanks ~Denver~ for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

After attending the nearby event I joined up with the Muff1 team to find a few caches. This was a fairly quick find. TFTC.
I had been out for a ride at Nerang and I was slowly heading to Varsity Lakes for an event this afternoon finding a few caches (or not) along the way.
Maybe caching after a big ride is not a good idea because I really struggled with them.
I spent way too long looking for this one. I am getting desperate when I resort to the description. [:o)]

Geo Wife & I were out today for a lunch date so why not combine it with a cache or 2.
Well actually I organised the lunch location around this cache instead of the other way round (the only trouble was that the chosen restaurant was not open for lunch but one can always find good eating places on the Gold Coast).
We were not so sure of the lay of the land here but took our time and soon had the sneaky little fella in our hands.
Thanks Denver TFTC SL

This one I did alone as parking was not the best close to the cache (at least the way we went), so the GeoUncle stayed in the car.
I had read the description and was wondering how things would go, but it was easier then expected down the slope, then the cache was in my hands in no time!
TFTC, I took the TB

Pleased to be brought here to this location for a cache find. A nice little park here. We thought the location of GZ should go fairly undisturbed so the cache should be safe. The water views here are lovely and we enjoyed our visit as well as finding the cache. We gratefully signed the log and replaced. TNLN. Cheers! [^][^]
Out and about today grabbing a few local hides. I parked in a nearby street and legged it down towards the waterfront. On arrival at the GZ i did a quick hunt around before soon uncovering the cache. There is no log inside the cache so i couldnt sign. It sure is a nice view of the waterway from here. TFTC
Finally sunny!!!!!! Wow log still semi dry after the flood it would of had here over last few days. Thanks for cache found after my Poodles & Oodles Gold Coast Crew Sunday Meet Up
Cheers for this one! Pen broke so we took a photo of myself, Ness, Brooke & Brad. Thaaaaaanks again!!
Cruising around the area this morning for a few finds before work. Second last stop was the plan but it soon turned into the last when a little old lady and her dogs were hanging around the park area. So I headed up the road for another then came back.
Thankfully on my return she was long gone so the park was mine. I wandered over while having another read of the cache page and figured I had a good idea where GZ would be. No luck after five minutes. So while I crouched down on the rocks I quickly downloaded the torch app for my phone so I could have a better look, don't ya just love technology.
With a bit of LED power, I eventually found what I was after. Just in time too as I was about to pull the pin.
The contents is a bit damp surprisingly, the lid was on tight but somehow it got in there.
Signed in and replaced as found, cheers Denver

Took a little while to find, at first went way too far down the hill near the water. Thanks for the good hide Denver & TFTC.
I am making my way slowly north today looking for a few caches on the way.
And I did stumble getting to GZ.
A quick find with no one around.
Thanks for the cache.

Because of some challenge caches back home. Today is called a onsie day which needed converting to at least a foursie day, so out into the rain I intrepidly ventured.
Back for a second look today. I see that the hint has been changed. That made it a quick find.

Arrived at GZ with OrionJ. Hint said one side and we searched for quite a while with no luck before widening our search. OrionJ located the cache and we notice the hint has since been changed to to the correct side. TFTC.
Well I arrived here with LHE Duo to have a little look, not knowing until we got here about the recent DNF, but figured we may as well take a look anyway.
We got started before taking a look at the hint, and focusing on that option. But still nothing come to light. In the end I thought about doing things a little different and sure enough there it was, got the log signed and all replaced before heading along on our way.

I was out early this morning because we were out of coffee beans and Lemmy the geo kitty wanted a nice kipper.
I took the opportunity to duck in here on the way to make a cheeky cache hunt.
I had trouble at first as there are a lot of potential hides.. But I made a systematic approach and soon spied the stash.
The container was a bit damp inside, not too much of a surprise as the container isn't the airtight kind and this area is actually a run off and it is wet season, but the secondary container inside kept the log sheet nice and dry. I collected the travel bug to continue its journey.
Overall, excellent work on your first cache hide ~Denver~ I liked the location here and the view of the lake. Thanks very much for today's cache find, and I hope to see many more caches hidden by you in the future. cheers!

**FTF** Joint First to find with Nature0Nut and Radnoski. Arrived to see a car parked where one would park for a late night cache. Introductions done and it was off for a quick search to find what turned out to be a clean log. Nice little spot here. Tftc
A little bit confused by the hint. Is it really on the left (going down or going up?) Hmmmm...
Dropped Polly or Kiwi the parrot here hoping the next finder will move him along.
Nice place. Thanks for taking me here. Polly or Kiwi will enjoy the view... for a while...

I was sitting in my car typing up a DNF log when a car pulled up behind me. The headlights turned off and I was soon asked "did you find it?".
Unfortunately my answer was "no" as my searching of the area had LEFT me not looking in the RIGHT spot.
The three of us headed back to the gz and while I searched the wrong spots again the cache was located.
Thanks for the cache and the *FTF* hunt. Joint FTF claimed at 8.50pm. Cheers!!!
