Lovely few hours spent in this beautiful town being chauffeured around by my good friends Aussie Liahona. They had been here the previous day so watched to see if I could find the cache quickly, sure enough I did. Thanks CO & very well done.

Yes an excellently crafted hide which we gladly found and signed the log. Thanks Anjakel for creating it and placing it here so we didn’t miss this historical location.

First cache for the day and we nearly missed the stop, pulling into the driveway of Anchor View. Excellent camo that I needed to do a double take on.

TFTC. We are camped at Tamworth on our way to the Mega in Dayboro. We decided to spend a few hours searching for caches around Hallsville before visiting friends in town. All caches were found in good order and co-ords were good. A good day 31 finds and two we did not find due to other reasons , so not logging as a DNF.
Hi there handlel.
We found your cache **"Anchors Away."** today.
Today we needed fuel for the geo-mobile, and according to another app, United was the cheapest. So once the service station was located a route was plotted that would take in some geocaches along the way. Using this method we found 18 caches and DNF'd 1
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** We didn't find a field puzzle here. The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

We had Oxley's Anchor and surrounds as the plan for this afternoon, and this was our first stop. We really struggled, and even started pulling the (pretty disgusting) rubbish from the nearby stump, but the GPS kept drawing us back to the guard rail.
Then something caught my eye.... nooooo.... and there it was - one of the best camouflage jobs I've seen. The cache is all dry, there is no code needed now though?
FP for the pick of the weekend so far. TFTC!

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 3. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we headed out to do caching trails around Tamworth to the North. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost ever cache.
Thanks.

20,481. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
Day 3 of our trip. Headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be a big days caching. We aimed to hit some of the trails around the region. Next stop of the day, and a fun find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.

Found with Genghicat( who decided to shelter from the rain as I searched) on a holiday north. Initially I assumed a nearby location which turned up a bong, multiple nappies and rubbish. Then I decided to check my GPS. My GPS which is usually about 10m out was finally on spot. Grrr. Cache camo was awesome. Cache was found in good condition. Tftc
Day 2 of the visit to Tamworth with joojoo57. This afternoon we are tackling the northern loop through Hallsville, Moore Creek and Attunga, and I am on the run down to a big milestone
Love seeing memorials like this. The cache is nicely camoed, but no "key" was required. Have a favourite point for the build. TFTC, Anjakel.

Journeying from Brisbane to Queanbeyan for the Clear Waters Mega, with a geocache laundry list carefully compiled for the road trip down . Loved this one, so it receives an FP for unique construction.

There is such a wonderful selection of caches around this area and this was one we targetted and found. We were impressed that caches were not missing and were well maintained. Thanks to handlel for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Heading inrto Tamworth to work closer to the next milestone. Out with Liz & Bruce who are working on their own milestone. cool start to the day

Tftc. My GPSer lead me to a place which was empty. So next thing to do was to widen the search area. And yeah, nicely camoed container was found. Still there’s one thing in this cache that I don’t understand. But anyway, I found the cache and signed the logbook.
Whilst visiting from Coffs Harbour found this cache quicker than expected. Favourite point given.

Great camo, have to admit I was bit slow figuring out what the cache was, I actually moved it with my foot a couple of times and didn't spot it! A return to the area and using my hands instead of my feet and I soon had it. Felt a bit silly for not spotting it earlier!

Farewell to foreign shores,
We sail at break of day-ay-ay-ay !!
Through our last night ashore,
Drink to the foam,
Until we meet once more.
Here's wishing you a happy voyage home
So how do I get that ditty out of me head ??
And why on Earth is this big lump of metal sitting here ?? [:o]
Ocley wasn't a sailor !!
A short stroll around and a cache was found
Phew !!
Good to see the anchor and it's fence have had a makeover,
I could still smell the fresh paint
Looking resplendent in white and green now [^]
TFTC ... I must be aweigh [:o)]

Great cache, well worth a favourite. TFTC, our 20th find for today. Didn't need a key, as mentioned in the description, to unlock the log so all was quick and easy.

Day 3 of the road trip to the OZ Geo Muster Mega.
Caro and I started the day in Armidale and headed off just after 9am.
We had different goal so headed off in different directions but met up again in Tamworth later in the day.
I head straight to Tamworth finding the odd cache along the way, this being one of them. [^]
I am approaching a milestone so I am finding a few to get the numbers right. A quick find for me here today.
Thanks for the cache.

we searched very long to get the box but finally we made it and signed the book. good hide!:) TFTC
I don't know why people log a find when the cache is gone. What is so difficult about find the cache, sign the log, log a found it. Only the camo found. Didn't get the hint.
Wow what a fantastic cache. Love it.
I have had a fabulous day today. It started with Pa and I exploring Keepit Dam (grabbing the caches of course) and then I commandeered the car and drove into Tamworth finishing the caches I hadn't already found. After lunch I headed north to see how many of Whitey Wiskas caches I could find.
I only had 1 DNF for the day and that was offset by finding a cache I hadn't solved yet!
Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches for us to find. It certainly adds enjoyment to our travels.
All logs were signed as SG as I often do in small caches to save space.

The way this cache was crafted was excellent and certainly deserves a favourite. The outside was something I had never seen before, and the inside one of my favourite types. All this plus some history? Oh yeah! TFTC, Anjakel. =^.^=
