We were nearby getting another cache so decided to continue down the road to see if we could grab this one while we were in the area. It was easy to pull over here near the cemetery entrance and a short walk to GZ where the cache was found with no difficulty. Mrs Tuolei doesn't care for cemetery caches so stayed in the car and I was quick to do this one solo.
The cache successfully located and signed I replaced it exactly as found. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache - all good here.

Since I was in the area on the trail of another cache, it would have been rude not to search for this one. Quiet little spot, and cache was soon located. Have covered it slightly better, it was visible from some distance. Thanks for placing this.
I’ve never actually noticed the cemetery before but it’s a lovely spot. Yay, first to use a new log book. TFTC
On our daily morning walk down onekura, such a beautiful spring day. Good hide. This is our first cache found!
The agapanthus are definitely gone. The cache has been replaced under a couple of rocks by the end post. Please ensure it's well covered. Happy hunting folks
NZ is back at level 2 so we can go geocaching again. Please wash your hands and stay safe. Happy caching!
IMPORTANT: Due to New Zealand's recent State of Emergency declaration and a nationwide lockdown due to commence at 11.59pm Wednesday 25 March, this geocache is disabled until further notice. Logs from now until the lockdown is officially lifted will be deleted. While geocaching is a fantastic was to get physical exercise and support good mental health, there is risk of spreading the virus by many people handling a geocache. Not worth the risk. Stay home and solve a puzzle instead! Kia kaha. Be kind. Stay home. Wash your hands.
Another day of cache maintenance. Cache has been replaced at 3rd past the post. Go hunting in that agapanthus for the cache as it is starting to regrow.
The agapanthus in front of the wooden fence have been chopped right back. No sign of the cache. 2nd of 3 DNF's in a row.

7.30pm - DAY 1 of 3. This is our first full day of caching in the Northland Region on this trip. Plan was to travel up from Dargaville through the forest to Kaikohe and stop when we needed sleep.
Sorry to say a lot of caches on our first leg were missing and a lot needed repairs done to them.
Would advise future cachers to check the DNF's before wasting lots of time trying to find these ones.
Trip took us to lakes, boulders, churches, cemetries and a great array of other locations.
The kilometres just seemed to flash by with food and drink stops sometimes missed.
Don't know how we ended up in Kaitaia for our night stop but woke up the motelier at some unusual hour for a bed. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap) and Mr Davidson (of Davidson clan). Signed most finds as BGH.
Visiting Northland for Easter... The plan for today was to head up the Kauri Coast to Hokianga Harbour , then skip across to the Pacific Coast until we were somewhere near Kaitaia. We really hope to make a big dent into several challenges we are working on...
We spent the remaining minutes of daylight eating fish and chips in Waipapa. Our next caching attempt took us into the little bush nearby. It was far too dark and dangerous under the trees, and we were struggling. We abandoned that search for this one hide at the cemetery. Fortunately, we were not required to enter. The cache was quickly in hand without needing to fire up the gps. TFTC.

Quickly found the cache.

Pulled up at a likely spot to work out where I was and what do you know - right where I was heading. Great camo. TFTC.
My caching buddy and I carried on to grab these last two in your recent series of caches. This was a clever little hide - very impressed Thanks for the fun.
Great camo here almost missed the cache.. Neat wee cemetery. I had a quick wander to check out family names. Really happy to be second to sign the log... TFTC.
Lovely restful spot here. Enjoyed the neat camo jobbie while passing to my favourite lake for a wee walk with one of my fur balls after a vet visit. Yay oh yea another FTF thx.
