Hi there Glanville Girls,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident.
The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.
#What you need to do:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.
- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored.
- **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.
Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned.
It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,

after reading afew logs as of recently it appears this cache is no longer with us
A DNF from me, I was in the area and thought I’d take a look. I looked for a while and then checked the logs where I saw many other DNFs. I think the cache is gone
Searched everywhere but was unable to come up with the goods today. I was with previous finders and we located the holder of the cache, but no actual cache. Something is afoot at GZ .
Found it within 5 minutes but tbh didn't sign the log as I didn't want to break anything. Great idea though.
With lockdown done for this time around (I'm sure there will be more) DAB and I jumped at the chance to get out first thing to make a few select finds for the day. It was beautiful out today, almost perfect for geocaching.
We parked as close as we could and wondered what was in store for us with this one. After not spotting anything we moved around and spotted the nice construction here. I was quickly up the tree and upon opening the housing, the log dropped. It didn't hit DAB in the head, lucky for him. Signing duties done and the log back up the tree and into the hide.

We had found V1 of this delightful cache in its day, and had made an attempt at V2 a few weeks ago. However back then Chook had problems halfway up, unable to get enough lift from her short legs to make one of the steps. Hmmm a noticible difference from her horseriding days when that sort of step up into the saddle was done routinely. Better up the exercises and get that muscle tone back!
Today Chook was enjoying a short afternoon caching with wozzle68 and The Tritonz, and Mr Triton offered to make that step up for her. After a bit of protest of the "it's ok, we'll bring the ladder next time we come by" sort, Chook relented and our name is finally in this logbook. And we can finally award a favourite point for this cleverly constructed cache. Thank you Glanville Girls.

Could see this cache as we approached the right tree, be careful coming to this cache as there is really long grass so watch out for snakes tftc
Tftc! It was easier getting up than going down. Thought I was gonna get stuck for a second haha
Well this one certainly was a surprise, as we did not know version 1 we had no idea what to expect. Hubby did the hard work for this one and, of course, left some DNA at the scene, old skin is not as strong as young skin. We did not find the log where the hint had told to look for it, we replaced it where we felt it should be according to the hint. SL TFTC
Caches like this make me realise I'm getting too old. Great find and great hide.
Found but didn't sign as the log wasn't in the sections I could open and I didn't want to force the other bits. Cute cache though
We came, we saw, but didn't conquer. Will have to return with a suitable TOTT. Didn't want to risk it today. We do remember the original.
TFTC Glanville girls. I found this today on my way to work... Didnt reliase I was going to be climbing as I didnt read the attributes till I was there. Spotted the fellow. Made my way to him and nearly dropped the log luckily I didnt. Otherwise it would have been back down. A great tree to climb, nice and easy. Bringing back my childhood days.
A fav from me for the little adventure, and the container really cute. Well made. Everything is still working.

First cache I have found in this type of hide. Easily spotted and accessed quickly. Tftc.
A wander in from the road got me to GZ
Uh oh !!
Terrain 3 eh ??
OK !!
Neck straining time
When I finally worked me way around GZ to the other side,
I could see the cache at last
Well at least I knew what the cache name means now
Time to get a leg up and say hello I 'spose.
"S'Nice to meet you."
TFTC and one of *those* caches that I was happy to find
Fave dance time !!
PS: The 'container' still opens.
Just don't force it

We found the geocache, we think , but we could nor open it it’s too hard to open seemed like it was glued tight cool container thought tftc
Another fun weekend assault on Victorian caches with Trigger_Fish where many caches were found, many miles were covered in the geomobile and some miles were walked.
The first of our tree climbs while in the area. I was 'volunteered'.
Thanks for the cache Glanville girls.

Mr Harrowang is certainly earning his 101 in tree climbing this weekend! Another original container that eventually gave up its log book for signing. SL at 3.40pm #6419 TFTC Glanville Girls
Thankfully my wonderful partner did the climbing here Unfortunately this cache is empty, no log or anything.

Holy moly. I paid for this cache with a bit of blood and adrenalin as my mind was racing with tensile strength of wood formulas as this rather heavy cacher made his comical ascent. Now that we are down i am glad that i don't need to do that again.

Awesome cache. I normally send a geokid up after these but her excitement at finding it convinced me I needed to make a closer inspection.
Well earned favorite for the sheer creativity of this one.
Thanks for the cache now I’m off to complete Milo

What a great cache, a little further up than what I would climb so I left the geomale to it Thanks for the great fun cache
What an awesome cache! This brings back so many memories as a kid and being outdoors, how ever being a male and stubborn i probably wasn't wearing the correct footwear for this find as i lost my left flop on the descent but not to worry ive had many years or practice in this environment. TFTC definitely one of my favourites!
I made junior climb and log while I stayed safe and sound on solid ground. TFTC.
Climbed the tree and made the find. Only trouble was I got such a surprise when I found the log that I dropped it. Fortunately it wasn't far!
This is a great location with the lovely old trees. Having found the first version I was looking forward to the next and was not disappointed. A favourite point duly given for another excellent hide.
Thanks to Glanville Girls for placing this cache.
Thanks to Glanville Girls for placing this cache.
I dropped by here with the kids and jtnsilo and even got half-way up, almost within reach of the wonderful masterpiece which was our goal today... But as I so often do with these kinds of hides I gave up in the end as I just didn't have the nerve to make the final move. Basically I don't trust myself since I'm really so clumsy - even more so when heights are involved! However I'd say this one is quite doable and I might return one day if I can regain some confidence. Thanks for the cache and the obvious effort you've put into it Glanville Girls regardless of my failure here today!

*The recent celebrations of Christmas in July around Ballarat, resulted in our geo-map being tastefully decorated with an excess of green and blue baubles!
Today we had the opportunity to exchange a good number of the colored baubles for smiley tokens.*
Having seen V1, we were ready for V2, another innovative hide - another FP.
Thanks Glanville Girls for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Found after attending the nearby CITO. Looked in the wrong place initially but soon spotted the cleverly crafted cache and afterwards the name made sense. Thanks for the cache.
Well that one got a smile!
Very nicely done.
As we toured around Ballarat this morning before heading back to Adelaide, this one caught our eye.
At GZ the challenge was less extreme than some. Quickly grabbed by a tree frog.

Freddo, Brad&Janet and Malco! journeyed east from wet and windy Adelaide to find sun and adventure along the Limestone Coast and the Goldfields of Ballarat and beyond.
Along the way we climbed trees, ventured underground in caverns and drains, kayaked on lakes, ate Thai food, slept in modest accommodations and generally had a good time. We all achieved personal milestone in the form of D/T loops achieved and physical challenges met. We all lost various items, only to find them again. We got wet, muddy, bruised, tired, battered, caffeine deprived and over-dosed. We used various items such as telescoping ladders, one and two man kayaks, ropes, multi-tools and 4x4 vehicles. We went off-road up forest tracks and over sand dunes. We visited caravan parks, lake-side campsites, city centres, ports, small towns, medium towns & big towns.
Freddo did his duty and located Sn . Others looked on. The surprise was not spoiled. The penny dropped as to what the title meant afterwards. I won't say who took the longest.

Found it nicnax4 with PapaGrouch (Monkey) SciFiRulz and Dippa46. I had been eying off this cache for quite some time but without the monkey it was quite impossible so I did a snow job on PG who willingly did the honors. TFTC Fav PT
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch, MazzyMay and Dippa46. MazzyMay had told us she had a cache that she needed assistance with, today we went and found it. Love the construction, very clever. TFTC
I couldn't Resist just one more Glanville Girls cache before this time heading home. Once at GZ I wasn't disappointed. With the hard work done I was able to sign and replace as found.

Please accept my sincere apologies. It has been brought to my attention that due to medical issues, there are a lot of caches I haven't logged, this being one of them. I was the other half of "we" in the Papillon4506 when we spent a day in the area with McSee&Petal. Again, please forgive my lateness, most embarrassing.
Found this one after a stroll through the wet grass and rain to get to GZ.
Thanks for the placement here Glanville Girls.

A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area with mcsee&petal today. Well done, a great bit of fun. It gets a favourite point from us. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Without reading previous logs or knowing what the previous version of this cache was, It's handy when you get a sixth sense of where a cache is when the gps leads you to the GZ and you automatically know exactly where to look.
But from this vantage point I still wasn't sure exactly what i was looking at so very carefully I made my way close to the cache and what a surprise when i arrived. Reminded me of one of characters in the kids animated movie "Robots"!
But unfortunately there was no logbook to sign and i did not have a spare with me. Close-up photo taken of the cache and hide to prove i found it.
A favorite point for your clever construction, a welcome "breath of fresh air" in the world of caches! Tftc

Well!!! I've had a bit of on ordinary week.... So my man took me out today for a couple of caches.... So today is my birthday and this was the most frustratingly wonderful cache. It took it us ages to find... But it was worth it!!! Thank you, you have made smile!!!
After some geocaching missions in Creswick with larafolk we headed back to Geelong via Ballarat. This sounded like an interesting cache and it sure didn't disappoint. While I checked every nook and cranny and thought I had checked everything larafolk read the hint and sure enough, it was in the last place I (hadn't) looked .
Thanks, Glanville Girls - a definite FP from me for the original and clever construction.

Find No. 1469. Found with FUF009 at 1.25pm.
A trip to Ballarat with FUF009 who had an appointment there. Then it was off to do some shopping so we could spent the afternoon caching.
All I can say is that I am lucky I had FUF009 with me and as he is younger he got the job of retrieving the cache.

Found with Mrs Tyred n Cranky
I had to be in Ballarat for one of my normal appointments and after all the important stuff we spent the arvo caching.
Well seeing as I had found, and enjoyed, the previous Sn , I had to hunt down this one again.
and to show Mrs Tyred n Cranky the cache.
To be honest i was a little out of my comfort zone at GZ, but to get up and close to Sn again was worth the nerves.

After the first couple of finds and a lovely hot coffee to warm us up it was off to hunt for other caches in the Ballarat area. Travelling with my good friends The Tritonz.
This guy was on our list and parking close by the find was soon in hand, signed and returned.
Chris does not believe in walking if you can drive so we drove. This is not the first time I have been with these guys and driven down a rail trail or walking track but in this case it was a bush track.
I did not find the first version of this guy but have now added this one to my list of finds. Time to look for a quiet drink and some food to round out another successful days caching.
Thanks Glanville Girls for the cache.

Nice quick find and took a new geo mate to try it out now he mite be hooked after his first find found with d.hunt89
Muggle husband and boo09 teamed up to make the grab here while I did log signing duties. Another great cache construction and hide that we very much enjoyed!
I'd solved a bunch of Ballarat puzzles a few months ago when completing a 31 Day Mystery challenge. I had found my 31 but still had lots left that were solved but not yet found.
With the rain and snow holding us back on trips the last 2 days, I was determined to ignore the cold and grab a handful today while over to find Dory.
Muggle husband and I decided to hit Vic park in the morning (kids ditched us for Pancake parlour with their grandmother!) to grab a couple before the cinema then afterward we were joined by boo09 and we headed NE of Ballarat city for a couple more and back to Vic park again. Despite the weather and time limitations, we managed 5 Puzzles and 2 Trads for the day including several tree climbs.
Home to PJ's & a hot choccy now! TFTC Glanville Girls!

First cashe for the day and nothing like a challenge to start the day. Finding the cache was the easy part, getting to it wasn't bad either, finding the log...well let's not give too much away. A favourite point well earned here . TFTC
TFTC. A very quick find on our way past today though getting to sign the log was a task left up to the more mobile Jaggedwings who scaled an horrendously wet obstacle only to declare 'where the bloody hell is the log?' Log sign, laughing under control and we moved on every more amused at the quality of the Glanville Girls caches. A definite FP point here.
This was our last cache for the day and what a ripper it turned out to be
Drove almost to gz and looked around for a few minutes before spotting the cache.
Made the scramble and found the log at the second attempt even though I had read the hint.
Certainly worth a favourite point
Thanks

What a lovely surprise this one was! We have just a few more to pick up before reaching our 1000th find, and this was simply the logical place to stop on our travels, as we made our way towards Baxter, our goal for #1000. We found a reasonable place to park and worked our way towards the cache. There was a particularly green patch following a line between us and the area we needed to be in. Everyone wondered why it was so green. Mum of the sims family suggested it was probably water underneath all the growth, and we should probably go back up to the road and go around it, not through. A moment later, Neville-devil calls out 'Yep, it's water!' as he squelched right into it. oops! We eventually made it to gz where we were delighted by what we found. Those who could, climbed up for a closer look, passing the log down to be signed, while dad got everyone in position for a photo. Thanks Glanville Girls for another fabulous cache that was a delight to stumble across. We really appreciate the work you have put into it, and are looking forward to coming back to find more!
I had found the previous incarnation some time ago so this cache was on my must do list today as I was in the area doing mainly Glanville Girls caches (the 11th so far today)
Again I got airborne but these trees are made for climbing and soon I was face to face with your marvellous creation.
A few minutes later my name was in the book and another favourite point was about to be awarded.

A familiar trio back together today for some laughs and maybe a few caches. Good ole " brawny " Sean.75 was the monkey and we (kenare) and myself the cheer squad. Thanks for an awesome and unique cache
I liked v1 of this cache and v2 is just as liked!! It's been far too long since jenno3, Sean.75 and myself have been out caching together. It really sucks when work gets in the way!! Lol! Tftc

11:37:00 AM. On our way out shopping and decided to grab a couple of caches. Arrived at GZ then it clicked. Oh no we thought but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Log signed and all good on a different cache. Worth a favourite point from us. Thanks Glanville Girls for placing this cache.
It's great to see version 2 tonight as we grabbed a couple of caches this side of town by torch light. Great workmanship making for a delight to sign and log.

Very enjoyable cache took a while to find but once found couldnt believe we missed it for so long. Really stands out or one would say really hangs around.
Found with Cherad, our geokids and muggle Pa. I had been lucky enough to find and log version 1 of this one. We however had more fun completing this one with the kids forming a chain so the log could be signed and replaced. TFTC.
Found with Mi5sie while out enjoying the day, we had each found the previous incarnation, but was fun to attack this one together, the geokids had fun making a chain to help retrieve this one, signed and replaced, thanks for bringing us to this area, and for the cache, all in good order,
It was the usual busy morning of kids soccer and shopping today but as I had hubby with us we thought a cache or two which required more effort might be in order. Arriving here bought back memories of a different cache which was located a little further along. I was also fortunate to know what this was cache was going to be having found the previous incarnation. Camo was soon spotted and we sent hubby/dad up the tree to make the find and sign the log. A fab cache - top effort - thanks heaps
We enjoyed the first version and this one was just as good.
A little harder to get to but nothing too tricky.
Nice little puzzle finding the log too!

Found with the family while in the area.
Really cool cache here.
Dad had to do the find so he took a nice close up picture for me.
Thanks for the hide.

Dad climbed this one and showed us the photo when he came back down.

Up here today to collect some containers to replace Steve's cache and couldn't resist V2. Nearly gave it a DNF as I tried to get there. Then told myself not to be a scardy cat and took on the challenge. Happy to say I have won a smiley face here. Thankfully there was nobody around today that I saw anyway.
V2 was more of a challenge for me than V1 I must admit.
Hope all is settling in well with the new year academics and your family.
A favourite poi t coming again for the clever construction and hide. Hope that eveyone treats it well for you.

Got to base camp and off we went. Got to cache and found many ways in. Big scare when container limb seemingly broke and anxiety turned to relief when cache revealed itself. Log signed move on. TNLN TFTC.
The Suscoes were in Ballarat for a few days and some caching was one the list.
It was a delightful day for caching with clear skies and a breeze to keep things pleasant.
Arrived here and saw what had to be done and so the tool kit came in handy here.
Thanks to the Glanville Girls for placing this cache here.
A nice hide.
Oh Mr. S. does like this activity!!!!!!

Quick find in the company of Wozzle68 & Shamus1, I was able to get up the tree quite speedily and sign the well constructed container

Visited here with Shamus1 late in the afternoon but neither of us felt confidant to make the grab, so after a few text messages were exchanged we had a well formulated plan. I picked up our terrain man ST37E after he knocked off work and he made the retrieval look embarrassingly easy but a win is a win anyway they come. Thanks for putting this great cache out, a favourite point coming your way for the effort.
I heard so much about the old one that i had to take a look at version 2. As soon as work finished i picked up Mippy05 and we were off to find the cache. What a uniquely constructed piece of work. Well done Glanville girls. Tftc
I had to get Sean.75 to log this one for me. What an awesome looking cache, it was so cool. Tftc
I saw this published early this morning but I had way too many things to do. After finding another newly published cache I decided to swing past this one. I knew what I was looking for and once I spied it I managed to find a blank log. *{FTF}* at 12.05pm. Thanks Glanville Girls, great cache construction and camo and a nice spot too.
Found out that there were a couple of new caches published today and thought I would have at trying to get a FTF. Alas beaten to the prize again. This time by only 20 mins or so. Congrats McLookers. And thanks Glanville Girls for a enjoyable cache.
