The situation here has been reviewed again.Sufficient time has elapsed since the issues were highlighted, and nothing has been done to restore it. Circumstances that prevent timely maintenance can arise, and ample opportunity for the Cache Owner to get in touch to request a time extension has been provided. No request has been received from the Cache Owner, The Keogh's, for further time to restore the cache.** It appears to have been abandoned by the Owner and, therefore, will be Archived.****Caches lost in this manner will not be Unarchived.**This area is now available for other interested players to utilise for cache placement if viable locations can be found. ### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process. It certainly needs to be checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating, or the posted coordinates.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute that is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by %CO% and to take it off the playing board to prevent further inconvenience to our Geocaching Community.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been taken by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will conclude that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition and waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer
No finds for more than a year - Im guessing it is no longer here. We did enjoy the views over a pastry!
Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
Quick and painless find. Accidentally rolled it over as the first cache I checked. Cheers The Keogh's!

Day 3 of the road trip with the boys C10,B12,L1.77 - lots of laughs and perhaps a little therapy will be needed after this trip. But one thing is for sure - I am determined to get a few more yellows on the map on my final full day here in Gero. Many thanks to the COs for the mix of caches. Sorry for the genetic log

We had just given up when my geobuddy spotted a potential hiding spot that we hadn’t yet checked
A nice quick first find for the morning.
TFTC becknmonts & Miss-Placed this is find # 7392 for us.

Out here today trying to claim a few more smileys around Geraldton, not the best day with only 50/50. TFTC
We awoke to another beautiful day in Geraldton, fantastic after the two windy, wet days when we first arrived. so what better thing to do than to head out geocaching again.
Yesterday we worked in the central art of town and down round the port so today we decided to head out a bit to the south, along the top of the rise first then returning along the coast.
It was a mixed day with a number of well crafted caches, a number in need of maintenance and some great hides. With the outstanding views it was a great day.
This as the dreaded micro in the bush. As e approached we did not have a lot of confidence, but once close we spotted a likely possibility, and that was it.
A nice quick find.

Out with Wollaston on a magnificent day. Nice to have an easy one amongst the challenges. TFTC
Continuing our cache hunt north of Jurien on our way to the Murchison for Easter, happy to say we walked away with a smiley today, both on our faces and our profile TFTC
Out on IGD in Geraldton for the 3rd year in a row with Barnzy12.
We started the morning a little late compared to a usual geocaching weekend however we did only get into town at midnight so a 8.30 start was early enough!!
The morning started with a extremely poor Find rate at around 40% found. We then headed to the Event and enjoyed a pub lunch and a pint of beer and that would see the luck turn there after.
After the event we headed off with Team Ruphace Matthew and Cathy finding around 20 caches with them.
The highlight was following the lead of reticbob and getting the caches in Moresby Range, going through private land that offered sensational views.
Overall a great day out in Gero, looking forward to seeing some of you again soon at WA Goes Big in Rockingham on the 9th September

Found on our first full day of our caching trip to Geraldton for the annual International Geocaching Day Event.
We arrived late Friday night, getting in just before midnight due to one of us finishing work about an hour later than planned! Stopping for a couple of simple Park and grabs along the way to keep our caching streak alive and enjoyed a quick feed for a late dinner in Jurien Bay.
We started the day with a bit of a later start after a small caching foray to find the new letterbox hybrid cache in town so we got up around 830 to start the caching day.
We curled up locally and headed around the suburb of Tarcoola, and had a large number of DNFs there, sitting around 40% find rate through the area, which was quite frustrating. We cached around the area attempting every cache on the Tarcoola Map before heading out to Bluff Point for the IGD event at the wintersun hotel, which we knew quite well having stayed there on our last trip whilst heading to the northwest.
We had a great pub lunch and enjoyed a cold beer whilst chatting to local cachers squash2 and reticbob regaling stories of some of the infamous caches around town that they either own of have had the pleasure of finding. Reticbob told us of his and others caches on the Moresby Range, which had only just been re enabled after the property changed hands.
We had to make tracks after the event to get the find rate up so teamed up with Team Ruphace who are from Melbourne but are staying in dongara and cached out bluff point with a significant amount of success before thinking we weren't that far from the Moresby Range so made the call to the land manager (this is a must - please respect this great spot so others can continue to enjoy it) and got the all OK to head to the northern side of the property, with the south off limits.
This would be my favourite part of our caching day, the Moresby Range is simply amazing, a MUST do if you come to Geraldton. Views forever. I won't say too much, you can get here and see it for yourself. Just please ring ahead (read the cache listings)
After the Moresby Range caches we headed back towards the centre of Geraldton where we kept finding cache after cache except for a few which need some serious CO attention. We managed to tick off a few nemesis caches including bluff point lighthouse, out and about erosion, tanked at the RSL and a few others, which was most satisfying.
We bid farewell to our companions after finding twenty odd caches together, which was most enjoyable and made finding it a bit easier with four sets of eyes at most caches.
We had a nice noodle dinner and got prepared to find a few more caches by torchlight around central Geraldton. The highlight of the evenings caching was another trip to the HMAS sydney memorial which is my favourite spot to visit in Geraldton. We followed the map around collecting the answers some of which I knew off the top of my head given my love of history and "the Sydney" we collected the puzzle cache for Cravo10 who somehow hadn't found it.
Overall a big day attempting around 60 caches with 40 finds, in around 12hours. Looking forward to finding some caches along the Chapman river tomorow on our final day of our short Geraldton getaway. Thanks to the local COs for their caches.

Stopped at this cache whilst on a roadtrip with Eliktrisiti. We didn't find as many caches in the Geraldton area as we had hoped for, and after being home for a week or so, I have decided that the motto I would adopt for these logs would be this: It isn't the destination that is important, it is the journey!
In a nutshell, we had fun and that is what it is all about. Great company, lots of interesting locations, good variety of caches, even got to meet one of the local geocachers while out and about, and of course, we came home with a whole swag of smileys.
This cache was found on the second day. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache beckmonts & Miss-Placed and for showing us around the Greenough/Geraldton area.

Our last day of caching in Geraldton with iluvtrekking and after a morning visit to Ellendale Pool Mrs iluvtrekking and I dropped off our geo-hubbys along the foreshore cycle trail so that they could grab some finds while enjoying the scenery. We headed off together grabbing finds in the surrounding suburbs. Thanks becknmonts
We had a great day an in and around Gerald ton. The boys rode their bikes along the IGD 2016 cycle way while we girls looked for caches a little further afield.
Thanks becknmonts
Thanks becknmonts
Headed up to Geraldton for 4 days to try and find as many caches as we could. Its been 6 months since we were last there and there has been so many new caches come out that we will need another trip there to find them all. We ended up finding 215 and about a dozen DNFS. We picked a few up on the way and did a detour on the way home to Mullewa and i must say the wildflowers are beautiful at the moment. We found a great variety of caches including a couple of wherigo,s, lots of field puzzles, multi,s and the highlight for the hubby was doing the chirp cache. I would like to say all caches were found quickly but that definately wasnt the case lol.... There was some very tricky and sneaky hides that took quite a while to find with a few we went back a couple of times to till we found them. We managed to find a few that we previously had DNFS on and it was was great finding a lot of creative cache containers especially some of the field puzzle ones. Thanks to everyone for the caches and hope to find a lot more on our next trip to geraldton....
Almost gave up after disturbing a HUGE nest of bull ants but perseverance pays off!

Hi there becknmonts.
We found your cache **"Waverly Views"** at 1:29:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 14335.
Our 7th day in Geraldton, and there are still a few unexplored areas to look into. The town itself is to be congratulated on all the interesting things visitors can see and do - - and then there's Geocaching as well.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area today. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many wonderful caches in interesting places.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around two metres from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about with some of those friends and we targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!
Thanks becknmonts (F=775 H=90) for placing this cache.

Another micro and no hint (sigh!) but I do have to say that this one was rather more findable than many others so thanks for that.
Found by Mary & David at 1330. Some lovely little wildflowers here. Our thanks to becknmonts.

Several more caches in this area - time to find them all. We drove to this one and wondered if GZ was correct until....... there was the cache.

Yay! There it is! So happy we can claim a smilie here. We had a few issues with the GPS jumping around but geo knowledge should have kicked in last time we were here. TFTC becknmonts.
Needing a find for the calendar and this one being fairly close to home I talked my girls (who are visiting from Perth) into coming with me. It was a quick find but a good find.
Thanks girls.
Thanks girls.
So after a night at the Tarcoola Tav playing pool ( we lost the match) I thought what better way to cheer my self up then find a cach. enjoyed this one well done.

Three visits to this one too Might need some lessons off of one of you pro's
After no luck at New Iduna before school pick up we thought we might have more luck here after school pick up. Unfortunately not.
