When cachers fail to return the container exactly where they found it, it causes trouble . I went and removed the extra container.
Some of the logs are of a confusing nature, I think cachers are not taking care about which cache they are finding!

What should have been quick find ended up wasting half an hour in the bush for a beetle micro down the road at GC6M679. Searched the bush for 20mt reaching the track not finding any caches there. Two ABC's and a milk bottle were cito'd for donation at the Hospice. Plenty more chucked bottles in the bush neglected by visitors were left for someone else to cito, the other watcher maybe? Me thinks not.
Changed attack plan and parked at this GZ. Low and behold! two caches found here! A big brown beetle with 50/20ml pillcans and a bigger! 250ml brown tablet bottle with 30ml pillcan held two logbooks to sign. Both above head height fitting the hint and both GZ's need checking to ascertain the existence of our time wasting DNF and the shenanigans of two caches at this park and grab GZ needs explained. Both logbooks signed were dry and ok, not too hard to find so what's the story with these two caches? Will return in high Summer when the gooseberries are ready, hopefully the Invicta cultivar and not the sour heritage ones. *RTP 350pt* tftc.

Nice walk in the bush. Lots of birds sing in the trees. Good for a human recharge. TFTC
Geohubby located this one, as he is a bit taller than me. He handed it to me to open, and there was an inner container - I hesitated while I wondered how to get it out, but when it gave it a shake it soon came out, with pencil and sharpener tumbling after. Signed the replacement log that was in there, and put everything back in and replaced as found. No beetles at this cache, unlike the one up the road. TFTC.
Cache and log replaced. No climbing required now. Cache with pencil and sharpener.

This has spent far too long on my"one of these days" list. Finally, with a dot day to tick off, its time has come. No trouble by-passing the dozing guardian for another smiley. TFTC
Had attempted this one before. It was in the dark while it was raining. Also went from the wrong side last time. Fun cache with a cool addition.

One step up and I came across a large creature that was eye balling me! Another step up the handy ladder provided and I retrieved the cache a lot quicker than I had expected. TFTC # 13,921
Next in line for today's nature study... wandered over looking for the easy way up. But it had come down to me already! Signed logbook and delivered the evidence to the CO for reattachment.
Out for a couple of quick caches tonight while staying with NZ Bozzy

#6037. I had a workshop in Dunedin on Thursday and Friday. Decided to take the opportunity to stay on for the weekend and do some geocaching in the southern city. Rented a car and today I did a few caches up around Flagstaff. Afterwards I headed into suburbia to grab a few more before sunset. Parked nearby and climbed up into a couple of the very large trees that looked promising hiding spots. Indeed they would be good spots but there was no cache to find. Then spied another likely spot that was a bit easier to access and this time found the cache and its guardian. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Had just finished when a homeowner from across the road pulled into their driveway and gave me a suspicious look. Just as well they didn't catch me up the tree! Thanks katie w for hiding it here.
Nice to find a non-standard cache, is a slightly different location. Found with Granville

A quick and easy find. Thanks
Kiwi Moose is in town too, so we headed off for a spot of night caching!
Queens Birthday weekend. Lets celebrate with some time in Dunedin. Today we travelled south.
Thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

Was very apprehensive about this one considering the attributes, but my height luckily got me there without much clambering. Tftc!
Eeeeek yes indeed we found it!!! Great camo love these ones. Another quick find with DocnDi TFTC
A very busy road and the motorists must have wondered!. Quite an oppropriate attacehment.
Thanks

A wee detour here on our way to Sullivans Dam via Leith Valley. Nicely surprised it wasn't as hard as I was anticipating. TFTC
A fun find, which didn't take long to spot once we approached from the correct side, and well within our geriatric capabilities. TFTC
Having just done Beetle on in there, this one was easy. Bit of a slog up the hill but worth the view from Craigieburn, a site which I had not visited before. Thanks for bringing us here.

Parked the bike across the street from GZ and headed across, pondering my options. I guess that I could have looked like an arborist, given that I still had my 'invisibility cloak' (aka Hi-vis vest) on as I stared up into the branches. Did the requisite clambering, felt around and there it was.

While Hevic went to the nearby information spot to re-read it all, I ventured down to collect this pair of caches. First one was here; no difficulty at all as the cache had apparently fallen out of its hiding spot and was lying on the ground. It was still totally intact (I suspect) but may still need a check; I replaced it in hopefully the right spot, attempting to conform to the hint as much as possible. Cheers!
As we approached GZ a bus stopped and the friendly bus driver asked if we were headed to the bus stop - ah no thanks but please move on so we don't feel like you are watching us while we look for something. Finally the bus did move on and we wandered around the trees looking - so many places that could fit a cache until the right place was finally spotted and once again the tall teen came in handy. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
These are the types of caches that debsnz happily stands back and waits for me to hand it to her. Found with debsnz
Waited quite some time behind a tree waiting for a dog owner and their dog go past. The dogs name was Harry and he absolutely would not cooperate with his owner. Come here Harry, COME HERE!
Hehe I had a wee laugh. Cache was easy to find. I replaced it and went onto the next cache. Thanks

Actually found this yesterday, but the pencil has gone and I didn't have a writing implement. Went back today, and the pen wouldn't write...feeling like groundhog day but eventually managed to make a recognisable scrawl. Fun set of beetle caches, katie w.
Went on a big adventure with Wafflekitties and geo pups, had a blast thanks for the memories! TFTC.
Found while on a winter holiday with LCBuilder and our two geodogs. We spent 3 weeks travelling down the east coast and then up the west coast, setting our tent up at a different campsite each night. We didn't have any real plan, just went where the caches took us we saw a lot of awesome sights and will definitely have to come back one day as 3 weeks isn't really that long! TFTC!
I forgot to log this when I signed the log and was wondering why my statistics for this day showed no finds. The penny finally dropped when I realised that I had forgotten to log it. I did the clambering but dropped the lid so I had to clamber down to get it and then clamber up again.
Found just on dark. Pencil has gone missing all I had with me was a small green pencil as I am out running
After no luck at the FTF down the road did the whole lets try the next one to get a log before midnight. I went straight to the right spot first time and just didn't reach in far enough... after trying other spots I came back and taking a step back with the touch discovered was an inch away first time. lol. Signed and returned just in time.
A quick park and grab for the last one for the day for Sirbennis and I. This puts me just over 1100 finds. So we are sick of the rain so off home to get dry and warm. TFTC
Enjoying holidaying in the area with tmann421 and another good day of weather today.

Another one pretty quickly found on the drive around.
J-L took care of this one and was soon signing the log
*Thanks for the fun find!*

Haha quick find...after waiting for the postie to tramp on past. Saw it from the ground and was not too trusting of my decided "ladder" but retrieved and re-placed in the end! Thanks!
Following some head-scratching and scrambling, we were quickly rocking and/or rolling with this one...TFTC
Can't quite believe this! Beetle has been collected, just like the butterfly from a short distance away. Cache replaced, but no beetle now.
Another wee beastie captured.
It would be nice if cachers could take 5 seconds to fold the log up properly rather tha just shove it back in, so that the next finder doesn't have to poke about with a pen, car keys etc to try and extract it while balanced precariously.
Outer container has a crack in it, sorry had no repair kit available. Only a bit of water in outer. Inner container all good.

My friend opted to tackle the upward element of the challenge and soon made a gasp when he spotted the cache. I can see why. Haha, very nice camo. It gets a favourite point for the look of delight on his face. Tftc.
I fitted this into my daily walk. I recall a very similar cache very near here. Thanks.
FTF. Saw this pop up earlier in the day and was surprised that a FTF log hadn't been made by the time I left work. Assuming that it probably had been found but not yet logged I was surprised to find a blank log. TFTC.
