Find #10. MMEandK all present. Found by M1.
A nice little park in dense suburbia.
*Don't be alarmed, but the dogs may BARK!*
NOTE - Cache was well buried in leaf litter, had to use a stick to scratch around at GZ to locate.
No swag to swap, but left some for the next bunch of geokids.
This cache is in good condition.
Signed Log.
Thanks For The Cache!

TFTC Geo@Madie25. Climbed up then realised I probably didnt need to climb as high as I did great fun though. Also, I can attest to this being slippery on the way down so please be careful!

What an amazing tree... so glad it wasn't cut down for more houses. The park remains a lovely green space for all to enjoy.
beersNzombies started to climb after deciding on the best route. I started on the other side when bNz mentioned how many great hidey holes there were.
Cache was found not too high up after all. Nice Camo on cache. LS and we took some photos before we left.

After logging a stellar cache out on the water, I was keen on a return visit to this location. We parked and I headed over to the obvious place. Ruzzelz went to the coords which are some 16m from the actual hide

Soon we were both searching high and low and my geo-buddy took to the skies. It was not looking good. We read a few logs and something twigged As Ruzzelz de-scaled the tree, the cache was uncovered

Happy to convert this to a smiley

After climbing around this tree for about half an hour we gave up. Checked nooks, crannies and hollowed out areas where branches have been cut off.

Me and my son enjoyed finding this cache. Inventive camouflage added to the treat of finding it, and we both got to climb.

Good thing I had my geokid with me. I would have looked very suspicious parking and climbing all by myself! But no one batted an eyelid with my climbing companion in tow. He found the cache nice and quickly. Threw it down for me to sign the log then back in place. Now off to buy some Lego from a local (the real reason geokid was with me)! Thanks for the cache.

I drove over this way this morning to target this particular cache, as it has a decent D/T rating to help me lift my own rating up a bit Big Grin
I parked very close to ground zero and after a pretty quick search I found the well camo'd cache container hidden up in the tree [^]
The log sheet was extracted and dutifully signed and dated. Then everything was replaced as found all ready for the next geocacher to come in here and find it for themselves [8d]
Then I was off to find another nearby cache with a suitable D/T rating Smile
Thanks for the cahe Geo@Madie25 Smile

What a beautiful tree, I knew where GZ was as we approached the Park and I had bought Muggle son along to do the deed as it is out of my ability zone. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC

I drove out to this one before I read about it realise it was a tree climbing and I'd normally do avoid them but it was such a beautiful tree I thought I'll give a tru . wearing a long skirt and Sandals wasn't the ideal for tree climbing. I circled around it take my spot but my legs were long enough so I'll give it one more go I walked around to the other side I thought I'll try here see if I spot it. got up found rather quickly pen woukd not at work I thought I'm not getting back down I tried and tried and tried manage to get a scribble on to the log I put it back and climbed back down.

Nikid1 & I were on our regular caching Thursday & headed over to Wynnum for the day.
As soon as we arrived at the park it was pretty obvious which tree the cache was in (& what a beautiful old tree it is) even though the co-ords wanted to send us to a much smaller one. Nikid1 is the tree climber of our caching duo & was soon climbing the tree with ease & quickly had the cleverly disguised cache in hand. Log signed & Nikid1 was soon back on the ground.

ankakeca and I spent a few hours today taking a walk around the Harry Potter series, but she has headed home, so it's time for a solo run Big Grin

GPS had me way off here, 25 metres to be exact! Knowing it was a tree climb, I checked the ones at GZ, but they didn't look appropriate at all... Well, that one up there is where I'd put a cache, so I'll just go have a good look, and yep, that'll be it. No problems getting to the right spot, and I soon secured the nicely camoed container. These numbers worked for me today: S 27 27.468 E 153 07.793. TFTC, Geo@Madie2.

15/10/16 out with geo hubby to find some geocaches around the wynnum area that I hadn't yet found. We were totally enamoured with GZ on our approach. After sussing out the best way up, we took turns climbing just because it was a fun tree to do that (talk about recapturing our childhoods ). Then it was down to business with geohubby making the quick find . We were surprised to see only a handful of logs here. Would definitely recommend this cache to recapture the joy of tree climbing. The neighbours paid us no attention as they mowed their lawns and cleaned their caravans . Tftc

A plan was hatched by RoddyC to attack the Geo-Art W of Wynnum one day when everyone was available and today was that day. After an early start, RoddyC, Nadine1989, Joojoo57 and myself hit the road to see how many of these we can get done.

After looking for fairies we ventured out to find A Room With A View. Having located the tree and cache found quickly, it was time for our names to be entered into the logbook. Cache returned and back to the geomobile and onto the next cache.

Out together with RoddyC, Patrol14 and JooJoo57. What a lovely day! All together I was 11 hours away and found 26 caches.

Tree climbing? That doesn't make sense with this coordinates. Good that there is just one nice tree. Climbed that up and had cache soon in hands. We laughed a little bit about the different ways of going out of a tree. RoddyC just slid down on his bump and I more or less did the more elegant version with balancing and running down.

Geocaching around Wynnum today with Nadine1989, Patrol14 and Joojoo57. It was a sunny winter's day, but the wind chill from those winter westerlies is quite biting! All up I am logging 24 finds and one DNF - not a bad haul seeing it included 9 of the "W" mysteries and a few Multi caches as well.

Quite a view from here - we were almost blown away by the chilly winds. Nadine1989 scampered up the tree quickly before the rest of us made it up the slope. Nice hide. I do hope I get a chance to tree climb today!

Found at 7.50am on 6th July 2016. TFTC.

Beautiful room with a view! Even geomum had a climb up Smile

Well here we are with my last stop for the day. I had originally avoided this one, as I thought it was in a more exposed spot based on a previous drive by, however seeing the new coordinates provided by a previous finder, they give a much better place to go searching.

As with previous finders, the nearby dog announced my arrival and sure enough I was soon in the room with a view. a little bit of a look around and I almost overlooked the cache itself, but noticed it for what it was, and soon was adding my name to the log.

21-Apr-16
Middle of the day and it's muggle free but the neighbour's dog is on watch to alert the neighbourhood of our presence.

Entered the room. What an untidy floor, litter piled high and a geocache container and a lid among the mess. Signed new log sheet, screwed lid on and placed in a likely spot adding a further bit of cammo.

Don't like its prospects for longevity when every visit is announced in such a noisy manner. Nice view from the room, perhaps the view from park at the top of the hill is better? ... **TFTC**

08-Apr-16
Arrived to find the "Room with a View" occupied by two young muggles. Wandered down the street to visit the fairies. A successful visit ensued then back to the "Room".

The view must be overwhelming as the two young occupants still there. Consulted with the know it all who was certain it's located near the road in one of the much younger trees. A thorough search before I could proclaim "I told you so".

Young muggles were called away so did a walk around the "Room" but did not enter. Not wanting to attract any more attention decided to return another day.

I came looking for this a few weeks ago and was unable to find it. Today, I arrived, began climbing the tree from the same side, and found the cache within 30sec. This game can be so frustrating sometimes.

Anyway, it was great to finally put a smiley here and I loved the container. The views weren't bad either.

A favourite point from me.

After finding the Midsummer Night's Dream couple nearby, I felt motivated to drive down the street and have a look at this one too. At first I was puzzled by the icon on the map, but recent logs told me the obvious tree was the right one. I attach the coordinates that seemed to reflect the cache position for me today: have a look at this position on the map and see what you think.
Although not wearing my best shoes for the job, I was pretty confident and was soon nice and high. As often happens to me, the climbing is not the problem: it's finding the cache up there. After a bit of digging around here and there, I suddenly realised I had gone too high (not the first time for that either). Soon I was in a fairly comfy position to do the paperwork without fear of dropping something.
Nicely done and TFTC where all is in great nick.

25-Feb-16
I arrived at GZ and saw the target immediately but my GPS was trying to take me to a small sapling on the footpath. The more obvious choice of tree was about 20m away.

So, I ignored the GPS and began to climb and search. But after a while, I got sick of the constant barking of the dog in the nearby yard. I was short on time and needed a cache for the day so I decided to give up and grab an easier target elsewhere.

I was on my way to work and just managed to snaffle a first to find on a puzzle cache along the way. I noticed this one was not that far of a detour too and thought to give it a try. Unfortunately by the time I arrived at GZ and found the beastie, the locals had been and gone. Still a fun time was had.

Thanks for the cache Geo@Madie25 Big Grin

**Gotcha! ***FTF*** @ 10.25am.**
**Smilie #3749**

Notifications started coming through but we were having a lazy day & they all seemed too far away to tempt us.
Wait up!
What about this one?
Only a few kilometres away.
Grabbed Winter the Geo-cat & we all bundled into the Geo-beast for the short trip to GZ wondering who else would be out & about today.
No-one on-site when we arrived.
Hmmm?
Have we missed the FTF or is it still up for grabs?
The only way to find out is to find the cache I guess.
Geo-Mamma was quick to take up the challenge & revert to childhood! LOL ...
I quickly joined her just as the call 'Got it' rang out.
Signing done, photo taken & cache returned as found.
Great job!
A favourite point for the construction & placement.
