The trig has gone from laying on it's side to being totally destroyed. Cache container nowhere to be seen. Will see if the trig station gets replaced and, if possible, will replace the cache.
Looks like the trig beacon has been destroyed. Didn't look around too much for the container as it was muggle central out in the park today. Still really enjoyed the view from GZ.
The geocache is still here (we tucked it up against the post), however, the trig was laying on its side
Enjoying the trail up the hill and out to the point.
Amazing views up there. A nice morning picking up just a couple of the caches. Nicely done, thanks.

Headed up to this one from the posta costa cache and came up the hard way, straight up the fence line. The wind was picking up a little now so my hat was firmly held onto my head whilst I made the find. I wonder what that other box thing atop the trig is? All good and a good hide here, worthy of an FP.
We called into the entrance to the park a few weeks ago but had no time to do the walk. A different story today on a 19kms walked day so after Clevedon viewpoint and a wander around Waitawa there was time to head here to do 'a few'. The weather came to play and despite a few gusts it was a glorious hot and sunny visit.
My original aims for today were quite lofty, and not really achievable but one can dream eh? I planned to get the last missing aspect of the Virtually anywhere in Auckland at Waitawa Regional Park, go up to the top of the Clevedon walkway to the lookout to complete the Adv Lab there, do the Duder Regional Park walkways and get 'all' (lol) of the Maraetai caches. Well that was a mission too far and I willingly dialled back the targets as the day progressed. As it was I managed over 20 caches and had a great day so that was awesome. Thanks to all COs for their caches.

Have been to this park a few times and have located this cache before, but upon arriving here tonight noted we had not logged the find...oh well, checked the new log for our previous visit, which was no longer listed, so signed in again, and now logging.

I was out in the area for the CITO today. Really wonderful park, I spent the majority of the day walking up and down all the different hills to collect caches!
Thanks for all COs who put caches here!
Notes on this cache :
Really a great view up here!
Note : there are two attached objects in the area. It’s best to not touch the bigger one. It’s not the cache and seems fragile!

Talla64 and I are tiki-touring round the North Island visiting places we have not been to for years, or places we have never visitied. This is an area we have never visited previously. The scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed our visit very much. Thanks to all the CO's who placed caches here.
Touring the far north and Auckland region with Flowerydaze. After the postponement of the Mega we decided to come north anyway and take time out for caching. Lovely area and lovely weather. TFTC.
Looks like cache has fallen out of its compartment, as the main structure has loosened a bit. I can send CO a photo if necessary, to show what I mean.
Hi pricefamily6
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

We also saw the place where the cache should sit, but no cache container within.
CO, please replace.
It looks a good hide and would be a pity to archive...

After a bit of searching I found the host referred to in the hint, but when I rotated it to the left I saw that the carved space that should have accommodated a mint tin was empty. Luckily I had a plastic microcontainer and spare log sheets with me so I’ve put that in. I know this strictly counts as a throwdown (which is rightly frowned upon in geocaching circles), but at least there is now a logbook in a waterproof container that can be signed in this wonderful place. Photograph of the new container sent CO.
We had a splendid day here exploring Duder park, and thought the T ratings for some caches were lower than they would be in Europe! Thanks to all COs for the great caching experience. Apologies for the generic addendum to the specific log that comes first.

We definitely found the cache host - photo sent to CO for confirmation - but there is no tin and log inside. We put in a temporary micro tube with an orange screw top until the cache can be visited for an official check. TFTC
Arrived at GZ and spotted two locations for this cache.....thoroughly investigated both and decided the cache is actually missing.....
Could the CO please check.
Could the CO please check.
Found where the cache is supposed to be. And there is nothing in its place. Well worth the hike up in sunset!
Another impromptu trip for TeamBOP,. Only 3 of us today consisting of myself, Davidsonclan and McJandals.
Have been meaning to get up here for a while now, so glad to have finally visited this wonderful park.
A simply stunning view from up here, but unfortunately the cache is gone.
Trig has undergone maintenance and the cache is definitely not in its holder.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Had a good poke around for ages, unfortunately not there for us today. Thanks anyway.
Made the extra climb up the hill to get this one and it was definitely worth it to take it the views.Waited for the muggles to go which wasn’t long and then had the place to ourselves to make a search spotted something which once we climbed a bit more realised wasn’t the cache but this lead us to something else which was.Very nice cameo here in a super location I see why it’s one of your favourite places in the park.
Kiwikenny got to the top of the hill first and found it while the rest of us lagged behind. Nice rest and views from here.
Such a beautiful spot! Easy enough to find and picked up little Kevin to continue his journey! TFTC
Nice hiding! Found with Clevedon school! Swapped a key ring inside but left Kevin! TFTC
Someone had nailed a solar panel type thing in at GZ, cache gone, but we replaced it

I met up with TheWonderStuff to complete finding the caches in Duder's Reserve. We were meant to do this last weekend, but called it off due to a forecast of torrential rain and high winds. We were so glad we postponed, as today's weather was amazing - sunshine and a nice cool breeze.
We found the cache location, but opened it to find to cache container. Someone has screwed a Solar panel up there, so it is possible that the cache is gone. We signed something that we found at GZ and replaced in the hide location. CO will need to replace the cache container.

Dear Cache Owners,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder if my log entries sound a bit strange. Thanks!
----------
**Holidays!** So my hostkid and I have a lot of time to do activities, the today's one was Geocaching. This park seemed to be a good place doing that and it definetely was.
We start our hike after lunch time and could find every Geocaching that we tried.
My favorite one on our tour. What for a beautiful view. We made a Little break here.
Finding the Cache was no Problem but unfortunately it was so windy that the logbook flew away straight after I opened it, no Chance. After a Little search without success - could be everywhere - I put a new fresh logbook (not waterproofed) in the hide. Sry for that.
FP for the nice hide and the beautiful place!

Find number 3862. My mission today was collect points for the Planetary Pursuit challenge. I had 255 and needed 230 and then attend an event tonight to reach the final. I left Hamilton at 4.30 am heading to Duders Regional Park. I got the first cache at 6.30 am and by 3.00 am I had achieved the necessary. A total of 33 caches found and 9 not found. (Well not extensively looked for) The weather was great and I had a good walk around the park. Some lovely views and some great caches. Then it was a sleep in the car for a couple of hours before heading in for the night event. Some fish n chips at GZ while I watched the sunset. Then after the event it was home to Hamilton by 10.30 pm.
I had just arrived at GZ with 2 muggles arrived. After a chat they took some photos and while they took photos I had a drink and surveyed GZ. When they left I was quickly uncover the hide only to find it empty. So I made a temp log out of part of a muesli bar box. Signed this placed in the hide. On my way down from the trig I picked up the remains of the log but there was no sign of the container. Thank you for the placement.

Trig view. Stunning. Staying at Duders for the night at the 2broons house so had to do some caches. Loved the camo. TFTC Took a while but then the bulb went on.
Out for a Days caching to Omana and Duders park to try and get some smileys on the map unfortunately not having my caching eye in there where more DNF's then finds. Wow what a view where else can you get such beautiful 360 degree panoramic sights! spotted the cache quite quickly, cleverly made wasn't expecting that. Thanks for the cache and view.
Out and about in Duders this afternoon. I think the morning rain put a lot of people off as it was very quiet. Lots of different caches and some great hides. Lots of hills so my legs are tired. Nice camo. Log damp and needs a container. TFTC.
Had a fun walk up to this one, the sheep must have loved the company. Lovely views. Tftc
Nice quick find after a hard walk up to it. The wood had been moved the wrong way so jammed. Managed to fix it so all now fine.
Monday morning of the school holidays and no one about in the great park

Lovely sunny winters day today found us going for our 1st walk around some of Duder Regional Park. We completed some of the Farm Loop track up to the trig station then ventured down to the beach before returning around the coastline. Stopped here for a snack and the obligatory photo. Needed to wait for Superman and the Incredible Hulk plus parent to move on before making the find. Nice job. Great spot. Fav point from us. TFTC
Found on 26.04.17 beautiful views from the top of the hill. The trig station was knocked over for some earthquakes experiment, but it didn't intefere with the cache.
Had me tricked for a bit but then noticed it. It was full of cockroaches. TFTC
Came with Ozwalker on the 9th Feb but had damaged knee that day. Came on this special day for Mr Oz in NZ to find a few more and to have a swim. Thanks for the clue, this was a clever hiding place. Thanks pricefamily6.
Nice find on a short trip away.
Soon located the container - good hide here.

Found it on a nice walk after staying the night in a park nearby. Quick find. Very nice view. TFTC
It is well worth the climb up here and we stopped for a while to enjoy the fantastic views.
A very clever hide. Gets a favourite point from us.

This one took us a wee while to find as it is quite well hidden - fortunately for us we were up on a truly magnificent day with spectacular views across the Hauraki Gulf - just lovely. After a while we noticed the wind start to pick up which was just the incentive to try a little harder and there it was - sneaky!
The literal high point of our day (baboom), lovely view and a clever hide - fave point from us, well done and thanks.

Camping the weekend with Vamber at Omana Campsite and set off to do as many of the caches at Duder Regional Park today. Coming up from Its got Forked, a steep climb but well worth the view (and I really like trigs). Could have been a sneaky hide, but spotted quickly, logged as KKKT, thanks for the cache
We were out camping with KirsTim for the long weekend, staying at Omana Regional Park. Today we had set off to find many of the caches at Duder Regional Park. Glad to have reached the top, it's all smooth sailing back to the carpark from here, with only a few more caches to collect before calling it a day. No problems spotting this container. Signed the log as KKKT, respective of each of our first names, in order to save log space. Thanks for the cache!
One more night away in the motorhome before I have to go back to work. Spending the day at Duders collecting some more caches. This is a cool hide and a great spot, gets favourite from me, cheers
Always love the view from up here. Grabbed the cache easily then hung around for a while as the views were great & no one else was around. TFTC
We decided to go for a walk around Duder Regional Park today for something different to do. For me, this also meant doing a bit of geocaching. Approaching the GZ there were a lot of muggles. What this meant is that I had to wait around for them to move on before doing a thorough search. However even after they moved on, the cache still eluded me. It was until I spotted something that didn't quite looks right did I find the cache. All good fun and a great view. Needless to say, this gets a fav from me. TFTC!
We were by ourselves enjoying the view thinking about where the hide might be, when a crowd of muggles appeared. I distracted them by finding out the elevation for them, whilst suggesting to Mr P he try or that... found cache and did the necessary whilst still distracting our new friends with smiles and pointing out the view.
