Replaced the Cache, after the last cache was stolen. Back up and ready to be found again by some adventurers.
I have got the cache ready to replace, just waiting for lockdown to end so that I can return to my parents place and reinitialise this awesome cache.
Checked up on cache and it was missing will return in a week or to to replace the cache. Looking forward to having this back up and available for geocachers
Planning on checking up on this Cache soon and restoring the cache to its former glory. Not yet sure if it is missing or if the last few people just couldn't find it. This cache is on government land but the farm land just a stones throw away from the cache is being sold and developed. We are yet to know what the result of the developers proposal is but lots of people are trying to partition against the large development and the increase in car and construction vehicle traffic down narrow streets. If you would like to help out and possible save all or part of this natural land to become a public reserve, then please sign the partition on the government partitions website. THANKS VERY MUCH!!!

We didn't find it due to swarms of mossies descending on us but the cache description was really interesting, enjoyed seeing the old boat shed too. We looked under all the rocks but couldn't see anything this time. Really nice area
Looked at the Cach, it is still in very good condition, just as a maintenance checkup. Checking that there is no damage or vandalism. Will need to keep an eye on this Cach as the property over the fence is being sold and thus the fence may be repaired and fixed, disturbing the Cach. Will perform more regular checks, as it is easy for me due to living very close by.
Good location, we walk our dog this way a lot but never go further than the old boat shed! Nice way to escape the house during iso! Thank you
We found the geo under the rock. When we though there was nothing there a member of our group said “hey that rock doesn’t look to belong there”. Thank you to the creators of this geo, we really enjoyed it.
Another one in the pouring rain, I parked at the suggested parking waypoint and made my way down the track. I got to the old boat shed remains and turned right to go further up the track. I quite liked the bush and the area around gz. I soon spotted something that matched the clue and the find was in hand tftc
1 from 4 today. Not great odds but we got one in the end. The puppies loved the walk into this one. Especially the mangroves after I told them not to go in . TFTC.
Its the third day of spring and already the flowers are blooming and the bees are out in force.
I took the wrong approach to get to the GZ. Heading straight from my parking spot i made my way directly down the fence line to the coords.
What i found was a calm little spot with the water babbling away in the creek.
With the overhead cover my GPSr was swinging a bit but even so it only took me a couple of minutes to locate the cache.
I took the sensible path out along the waterfront and back up the stairs.
Thanks.

Located at 2:38pm. #938.
After locating Here I Am!, I made my way over to this one. I loved the varying terrains to GZ, very impressive area hidden away from all the houses. I located the cache easily enough and signed the log. Great views from the water’s edge as well. Cheers for the placement.

What a great spot ! I live locally and am familiar with this area but didn't know about the little deveation track to the GZ .
It's a bit tricky but not impossible. The Coords giggle around a little but it just increases the fun and sense of achievement.
My third day in the row and I only started 3 days ago.
Consider myself a hardened Cacher now .Even removed my facial picture and replaced it with something more anonymous.
Did the paper work and replaced as found. Thanks for this a wonderful placement.

What a lovely little spot. Unfortunately cache blindness had set in and I was unable to find this one today.
Very nice walk in. Thanks for bringing me here. Very well constructed cache and interesting history lesson. Took me quite a while as I think I looked everywhere except there. TFTC
Took a bit to find, but first time we’ve done caching so that just added to the adventure! Cool
Haha.... I’m a geocacher from Hobart... after searching for 15 min...I was about to write cache probably washed away until then I found it complete with restraining chain... nice work TFTC
Found today, Wazza9 found quickly, we came here a couple weeks ago, but on dark, not possible to locate the container. Today was different. Signed log and replaced. Thanks to jordan.henry.2
TFTC,
So easy to find in the day light. It is a great area to explore, thanks for bringing us here.
Visited trackables and used this cache for the GCA Game.

Disappointed. However given it was getting dark, we may have just overlooked it. Will return one day.
jordan.henry.2 I found your cache Heinrich Bamboo on 25/3/18, 12:55 pm. This is my find 1941 and find # 4 today. Great little walk, not were I thought it would be. But stepping back and searched a different area wasn't long before cache was located. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
That was a fun little walk. Wasn't sure which side of the fence I needed to be on, so I tried both. As it turns out, no need to go over the fence...just had to crawl under a shrub. TFTC
Out caching with... just myself! Making the area of Lugarno unsafe
Beautiful place, I hope that my backyard will have these kind of thick bamboo one day! FP!

I really enjoyed walking to the location of this cache and as a bamboo fan, I thought that was pretty impressive. Thanks for sharing the history of this area! TFTC
Enjoyed exploring this area with pipersand, a beautiful winter's day!

This sure was an interesting piece of bushland and I enjoyed the hunt here. It is even quieter I think because of the bushland across the water too! No troubles once at GZ/ A pleasant lunch break! TFTC!
To add to the fun we decided to do this one after sunset. After a bit of stumbling around the cache was soon in hand
We will need to come back and look st this location in daylight as I'm sure it is stunning

I absolutely loved this location!! I live locally yet never knew this little reserve existed. A short stroll through the bush to an amazing bamboo forest. A secret little hideaway
Wow this is my favourite cache of the day. What a hidden little gem. I spent a lot of my childhood growing up in Lugarno but I never knew this existed until today. It was a perfect little piece of paradise and as we walked along the track you could hear the water running from the creek, the birds singing and the frogs calling and splashing about. We ran into Mr and Mrs Pelican down by the ruins of the old boat shed too. A great spot to chill out, take a few pics and forget we were anywhere even close to suburbia. The bamboo was impressive and the GC location was close by. We checked out the obvious place and once we realised it wasn't where we thought it was, we found it. Not a hard find but by far the most exciting. Well secured too as I imagine in the wet things would slip and slide around. Thank you for the history lesson and for leading us to a very beautiful part of Lugarno. I understand why Mr Heinrich decided to buy the plot of land he did. It is magical. If we had the $$$ in this day and age to live in the same spot, we would not hesitate. What a way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Did the walking track to the bamboo with Happy Jackie. Now where could it be? The GPS was a bit shaky but looking around I thought there , maybe and bingo, CIH. It certainly is not going anywhere soon. Thanks
OCW Mrs A and detoured on the way to "Here I am" to have a go at this one. It took us a while to finally locate because I think you need to read between the lines a bit. Once located I did the business and rehid the cache. TFTC jordan.henry.2.
Geohubster and I had 24 child free hours and finished it with some caches we thought were unsuitable to bring the kids out to. We had a lovely walk down here - so peaceful by the river and very cool unexpected bamboo cluster. Fav point for a nice walk with different scenery. TFTC
I really enjoyed the little obscure track to GZ. Soon had the bamboo in view. Impressive group. The cache to a little bit to find but got it eventually.

My brother and I found this one right when we were about to give up. I've seen a lot of Bamboo but none that big before! Thanks for the awesome cache
Cache #1600!
After a day of far too many mint tins, it was nice to reach another small milestone in a great bush location. Man that is some serious bamboo!

I eventually found it well away from the obvious spot, about 4m ESE of where my GPSr wanted me...

Decided to head back south for a few caches. Been a while since I've been here. And there are some multis here that need a little work as well.
In the end grabbed four and nabbed info for two other multis.
Looks like I'll need to come back again sometime.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Started here at this new cache - ie since my last time in this area.
given its size
What an interesting little spot, and the bamboo is truly impressive. It's amazing it hasn't spread everywhere.
Coordinates put me over the fence, and so looked around for a few minutes. Then I spotted something suss. Ooh, two somethings suss.
Made my way there and had CIH!
Completed signing duties and replaced.
On the way back I heard voices. When I got to the boathouse and grand-muggle and his grandsons appeared, I assume to look at the stonework.
I continued back up to *The Hademobile*, and of to my next target.

Second time lucky. Found it a bit further away then we thought. Found it just as we were about to leave.
So close. After reading the comments we realised it was hidden right where we were searching. Next week. **;_;**
I followed the trail and path down to the river and soon it lead me to the huge bamboo tree. GPS had me over the barbed wire fence, but a quick look around and I soon found the hidden container held in place. It's not going anywhere when the next heavy downpour comes! No swaps inside so I dropped off a die to get the ball (or die) rolling. Filled in the log and back in place fo the next finder. Stopped to look at the plaque dedicated to the Heinrich family. Hmm, I feel like a vegemite sandwich now! TFTC. #386.
Nice cache thanks. An area of the park i was not previously aware of. Interesting remains of a boat shed near by also. TFTC
I had chosen 8 caches to find in this area today, but my breakfast ran a bit later than I expected and only found 3 in the end. Maybe it was also due to forgetting to update the newer caches on my GPS, or the search took longer than I counted on.
This one had me stumbling around the park, trying to find a way down the last 50m to GZ. I was quite surprised at how large the bamboo had grown. I didn't realise it got that big. It certainly helped me get back out afterwards as the ground was quite slippery around there.
Thanks for the cache.

13/2/16. 2:03 PM. Cache #3501. Streak day #601.
1st of 3 finds - Canterbury, Lugarno & Mortdale.
There were three caches from the 11 Feb publish within the southern parts of my usual radar that I still hadn't found, and I hoped to pick up all three today.
However, by the time I got down to this one, I had already struck out at both "cup and saucer" and "Mort Dale / Death Valley". Past finders of each had come back to me with information, so I hoped to get some of them on the way back home. Meanwhile, here I was in familiar territory, having found "Here I Am!" via the same set of stairs back in October. This time when I reached the water I turned right, passed the boat shed WP and turned off towards GZ. Not a stick of bamboo in sight, but I don't want to be pedantic (cough, lantana!)
Found my way towards features that matched the hint and after trying a couple of spots, I saw the hide and the nicely secured cache. Whew, I finally have a find for the day! Signed as 2TF and replaced, then returned to the car. Since I'm in Lugarno, I may as well finish off "Animalogical". TFTC.

I had just arrived home and received a message from a fellow cacher (who had just been FTF on one of my newly published caches), saying that there was a new cache near me. It was only 6pm, still had a bit of time and light, so off I went. I knew the area where it was located, having read a bit about Heinrich and discovered the old jetty and road there many years ago. It's also right opposite another favourite location of mine, Oatley Park. But I had never ventured into this side track before. Having two wet shoes from just slipping into a creek, I pushed on until I came to GZ. Unfortunately I was getting a bad phone signal, so had to rely on geo-instincts. That didn't work too well at first, and I was going round and round the bamboo bush. Light was fading and it was getting darker in the gully. But I decided on a plan of attack and worked my way through. It wasn't until I started thinking like an Aboriginal tracker that the light bulb came on and the cache was revealed. There I found an empty log and saw was I First to Find [FTF]. Yippee! This was my third FTF. A nice little location, almost semi-tropical. Thanks for bringing me to this spot and for drawing attention to the history of Lugarno and the Heinrich family
