A quick find here, however cache container has shattered. I had some spares today so have replaced with a brand new container and log in the same hide.

Well decided to take a day off from work and tackle caches mainly around Crookwell/ Gunning and surrounds. TFTC!
Heading to Canowindra with Jondub and stopped to collect this cache. Cute, well tended cemetery. TFTC
Despite feeling really quite weary after a great walk along Bullen Range ridge yesterday, when I was invited on an "easier" caching trip today I couldn't refuse as this might be my last opportunity to cache with friends for quite some time. The sky was overcast nearly all day but the great company made up for it.
LuckyL10n Sol de Lune and I set out hoping to find a good set of caches and we weren't disappointed as there were no DNFs. All caches found were signed. Unfortunately some logs were in very poor condition and this will be noted whenever possible.
Thanks to all COS for placing these caches that enabled us to enjoy this great game.
The log in this cache was full.

Out on a run through the area with LuckyL10n and Smittengranny to fill in a numbers on the calendar. Weather was good to us with just one short shower during our time out.
Next stop and the cache was soon located. Log was full so we left a new sheet so all should be a few years.
Thanks again Joshwa27....always interesting to look around a cemetery....

After the previous weeks of great trips to Namadgi and kayaking with GreyHams, we decided to make a trip out to Yass for something a bit different. There was a puzzle cache of particular DT I was keen to get and plenty of others in the area to keep us amused. With the desired DT collected with a much easier climb that expected (yay!) we continued on for a few others with the plan to cache towards Dalton and Gunning and back if the time permitted.
We persisted for a while but it was an easy call to stop and head into Dalton, there we found great caching and locations of interest, a cool little track to drive with a walk to a nice little oldie out that way! Gunning also had some good caching and an AL but with time against us we had to head home but a good day in the end!
The GPS was a little undecided here for a short time which is often the case in these locations I've found, still there is no difficulty in this cache and its a good location to come visit. Thanks for the cache joshwa27.

Dalton Cemetary...the original, as there are two identically named caches 163m from each other.
We drove further than we should have, but it was a quick find.

This is how caches should be. It was an easy find but allowed us to concentrate on looking at the cemetery. As ex Defence I allows visit every known graves of ex servicemen. It what I do. As I did have a pen. I thought this was appropriate. TFTC

A quick find in a well-kept cemetery. Bloody hot now, but it got way hotter later as I went more south and west.
Finalf29 and I decided to spend a few days getting off the main highway and grabbing a few of these backroad caches. Having a wonderful time with my bestest buddy.
Went to log this one and I lost all phone signal and stupidly I forgot to download offline. We will be back for the rest here in Dalton. Thanks

A wet wintery day out us in the car for a drive and an explore and a few caches.
This was the third cemetery for the day and a lovely one too. Lots of mushrooms growing nearby for foraging.

Cache in good order, park and grab.
CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Streak day 68
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

Stayed at the Gunning Showgrounds overnight amongst the Australian Stock Horse Show campers and their horses. With an early start we grabbed some local caches before heading to Dalton to learn about the Earthquake Zone appropriately on Earthcache Day.
The hide was spotted on approach making for an easy find.

Was looking to get out of the house today and go for a drive to get closer to my next milestone before I hit up a powertrail in a weeks time! Decided to come out and do some country driving with mattyu94 who was keen to join me for the afternoon!
The goal was to drive along the country road through Gundaroo, Bellmount Forest, Gunning and an extra side trip to Dalton!
We ended up with 24 finds and 2 DNF's
Still plenty of caches left out this way too for future adventures!
**End of Cut & Paste**

Could almost reach this one without even leaving the car! If only it was a little lower and did't have 2 rocks on top!

Heading home after attending the Mega in Morissett. Stopped nearby for the night, so a great opportunity this morning to grab the caches in the area before leaving. Not having been here before, it was great to exlore and take in the sights. I love these old country cemeteries, they have so much history. A quick find made here.
Thanks Joshwa27 for placing the cache for us to find.

What a quick and easy cache to find - just how I like them when I've got people waiting for me!
What better thing to do on a warm summer's night with family members holidaying elsewhere than to go for a geocaching drive in the countryside with the marvellous IamCoust? A thoroughly enjoyable night that took us to parts of the region we never would have got to without the gift of geocaching. Thanks to IamCoust for planning, driving and patiently stopping at a few caches he had already found. Apologies for the (mostly) generic logs, but you know what it's like...
Nothing like an old cemetery at night! It's just a shame there was no fog around, but we were momentarily disturbed when we suddenly noticed the solar powered lights on one of the graves. TFTC

The big night had finally arrived, time for some country caching with MJW1. With clear skies and a light cool breeze we took to some of the roads less travelled inbetween Yass and Gunning. The outcome, a great night with good company and a stack of finds. BOO!!! TNLNSL TFTC
Azzepious and I went on our second annual trip to Adelaide for caching and cricket. Joining us was muggle Skonos who refused to make a geocaching account but did help on finding caches. Day 1 took us to Hay. Our previous trip saw us grab most of the easy caches along the highways so we had to take some detours for caches on this trip, via places like Breadalbane, Gunning and Yass.
All caches logged as 'Team GOGGGG' - The Group of Glorious Geocaching Gamer Geeks.
I stayed in the car to fix some phone issues. The others returned and told me they met an echidna at the cache.

The short walk to the cache was very pleasant and at the gz, a treat for us city folk, a wild echidna was feasting on the plentiful ants.
We took a trackable.

AG27 and I decided to head out to Yass today for the third time to finish up the caches there and if we have time, head over the highway t grab a few more. A cool day which suited us fine. Lots of chit chat on the way. Unless otherwise indicated, caches were found in good order and as indicated.
Answers sent to CO - thanks for the added interest in Dalton!
Thanks wing6rider for the cache!
Found with nissan 65 on a few day away caching. After staying overnight in yass we are making our way north. Thankyou for the cache and bringing us here love the old cemeteries
With the long weekend apon us, nice weather and a full tank of fuel, it was time to head off on a little drive to pick up some caches to the north. This was a solo mission today, the music cranked up and windows down. Found a nice range of caches today and turned alot of unfound caches to some nice smiley faces
2nd cemetery for the day and another nice one to have a look around . No issues with the hide, seen it from a mile away lol.

My first visit to Dalton, and would be unlikely to be here except for the fun of geocaching.
This was a quick find, thanks Joshwa27. On a warmer, less windy day I would be interested in looking around this old cemetery.
Curious how the cemetery is segregated and fenced.

Another great day of caching in the company of our good friends Suscoe. Our route was a "loop" Yass - Gunning, Dalton, Jerrawa, Coolalie - Yass. Varied scenery, great flocks of galahs and cockatoos and of course many caches to find.
Thanks Joshwa27 for placing caches, for everyone's enjoyment.

Suscoe and Phetlern were continuing their Yass and beyond adventures today with a trip to the north east and north of the Yass area. We even ventured into the Upper Lachlan Shire for a while as well.
Weather wise today was a mixed bag with a coll start, some sunny breaks, some heavier cloud and a stiff breeze at times.
We enjoyed the changing scenery and the little townships that we travelled through.
Thanks to JOSHWA27* for this hide, quickly found today.

The local forecast was for rain today, so it was with some delight to see no rain this morning, A quick check of the rain radar & it looks like the rain has skirted south of here. Today I thought I hit up Dalton & revisit Goulburn which always seems to have new caches. There was some thunder as the day progressed, but nothing that interfered with my important work.
Sad fact is that the cemetary was a busy place today being mother's day. I had to time my grab carefully and respectfully.
