Out with Contesta, albida33, Aquilus1, Sacada, Kittykatch, Joolay, and me for a spot of caching before the rain comes in. Cooler than yesterday. The younger members of the team were lacking a bit of enthusiasm at this stage of our hike through Mulligans Flat/Goorooyarroo so the nearby stump was a great place for a sit before we started off again. Thanks for the cache DARKSIDEDAN!

Found during a bike ride with caching friends during the Canberra mega. The kookaburras are laughing too. Thanks for bringing us here.
Find # 8,593 for me on 26 Mar 2024 at 12:06pm. This cache was found on our Canberra Mega adventure. After leaving Melbourne with PamJ in our little caravan, the plan is to stay a couple of nights at Bemm River, then a few more at Pambula before cruising into Canberra. This cache was found as part of this journey. Today its the Centennial Trail. Thanks DARKSIDEDAN, for giving back to the game. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*

Avenged my DNF while passing through, that definitely was not in the same place as when I searched but glad to have found it now. TFTC!

#2185 GZ certainly matched the name. Cache quickly located. Signed the band aid backing strip which is standing in as log paper. TFTC.
Day 2 with a trip to The Capital with PPE and Crash. Plenty of targets and not enough time but Kayaking, Tree Climb, the Goo yet again, puzzles and more.
We picked up a few trades enoute between various puzzles before making the last of the upwards climb. Plenty of Roos around. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Big day of caching around Gooyooyarrow (ok not exactly big, well it is 44km). I have a load of L plate puzzle caches to pick up (not P plate because I'm bad at puzzles). Did a decent amount of finds on the northern side. I'll work on the southern side later. The bike wasn't exactly helpful today as I had to lock it up a decent number of times when I was going to caches. I'm pretty sure I did about 10 separate times. Thank goodness for the bike lock! Thanks to DARKSIDEDAN for the puzzle caches, I enjoyed them and they will hopefully get me better at puzzles too! Now to solve the P plate series... Nah I'll do them later
TOTAL HAUL FOR TODAY: 23 CACHES (yay)
Nope, dug around the stump for ten minutes but nothing.

Found on a huge invasion of Goorooyaroo today with sebass19. I got the Mulligans Flat CCT caches years ago but left all the Goorooyarroo ones for a big day long into the future. Today was that day, we started early and worked our way north to the point where I finished the Mulligans Flat caches before heading back to the car with some extra finds on the way back. All up, a 6hr walk, our legs were very sore by the end and we had run out of water but the journey was definitely worth the effort. This area has beautiful scenery and is nice and flat basically the whole way through (much flatter than Muliigans Flat, funnily enough)! All caches were found pretty quickly. Most of the caches are without issue but some are a bit wet inside so perhaps a maintenance run of logbooks may be required. Great to have found most of the CCT caches from here to Hall, with a DNF and a few reincarnated ones here and there. TFTC C2M and DSD!
This one: ooh yuck, a cockroach under the cache! It ran away though!

With a big walk around Goorooyarroo canceled due to key players being on COVID isolation, I decided to target the caches in the reserve that were not on the general walk. I did the original VC series along the Gas pipe road soon before they were replaced by the CCT series. It has taken me this long to get enough motivation to get to the inner ones. It was a fine if chilly morning and I had a great walk.

A quick find and as we walk away from it we have guessed that now we are beyond the black stump. TFTC
CCT - S2 - Black Stump was transferred from Champs2Monkeys to user DARKSIDEDAN
I headed out for for an exercise walk. I parked in Throsby and entered the reserve. I followed various mown trails before hitting a fire trail. I continued along it until I was close to GZ and headed there. I quickly had CIH. Log stamped and all replaced and I was heading back to the trail when there appeared a group of cyclists. We exchanged greetings and I continued on my way, using different trails to return. I saw some kangaroos. I walked 6.5km. TFTC.
The GeoKid and I rode this section of the CCT today to collect caches down to the point in Goorooyaroo that I got to from the Horse park Drive end last week. Great weather, lots of people (well, it it the weekend) and even a couple of shingleback lizards. A nice slow ride to the south-east (stopping every 200m for a cache) but a quick ride back from the end.
This cache was a straightforward find at GZ - thank you.

Finally decided to walk all the way to goorooyaroo and do the centenial trail caches. TFTC
À great Sunday for caching in Canberra, started out very cold, but turned into a perfect day. Did lots of kilometers of walking on and off track and could have saved a lot of time by taking the pushbike, but really enjoyed the walk.

7347 Located by baby&Mrs gopher on the trail to Horsepark Rd. It has been cool with the walk most satisfying. Lots of walkers and bike riders today. Had to wait for a family to move on to SL Tnx Champs2Monkeys
Set out for a big day caching and was very happy to back in this area once again, it was a very nice area to stroll through on a nice warm autumn's day. This was one of many found today, a bit slow at first but after finding the first couple thats when we started to pick up the pace and we were finding them one after another and making good time. Thanks again for placing all these caches.
Lucky number #13 and a easy find under a gorgeous starry sky. Jupiter still looking quite stunning on the eastern horizon even with the moon interrupting the show. Have to remember this area for some future stargazing.
Loved the natural table for signing too, great spot.

Sorry for the copy and paste log. We enjoyed this part of the track on a tandem and it was really great fun. Thanks for placing them all.
Walking Mulligan's Flat today. Nearly DNF'd this one, too many hiding spots and hint not specific enough. lol jk, easy find. TFTC
With the weather a little cooler than the rest of the week and the geoson away for a few days with family i was desperate to do as much of the trail as i could. Its taken a fair few trips thus far. 68 caches total including a few off the beaten track that were close by. Took plenty of photos - amazing views at time.
Apologies for the copy and paste logs but this doesnt reflect how much fun we had on your trail and we certainly appreciated your efforts in placing and maintaining these caches. Thanks Champs2Monkeys.

Found with nissan 65 on a few days away caching Log signed and returned to its hiding place. Thankyou for the cache .
After a big day caching the Centenary Trail between Mulligans Flat Road and One Tree Hill by bike, then a mandatory rest day, it was time for some hiking in Mulligans Flat and into Goorooyaroo, picking up CCT series caches that didn't exist last time I cached this area (plus a couple of detours). A great and tiring day with some wonderful close encounters with wildlife and some big storm clouds that threatened but withheld.
A nice easy cache in a clear location. I photographed a couple of kangaroos somewhere near here. Pic attached, just because. TNLNSL TFTC
Random draft log word (kind of) for this cache: Idk

With dty73 we had a very early morning start to see about the CCT from Horsepark drive through to Mulligans with many side trips for other caches along the way. Started out to be a very cold morning not getting much better with the strong and cold wind through most of the day. TFTC, all was found OK here today.
It feels like ages since we’ve done a nice long caching run, so we headed out to Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve to find some of the Canberra Centenary Trail caches. We had to leave The Woofer at home, which is a shame - she would have loved wandering the track with us! We found 38 of 38 in just over 4 hours - even made it to the border of NSW. Not a bad effort! We had a great morning, and left goodies behind wherever possible.

Inncent Apples and i walked to track all the way from 12 to 5pm.. Beautiful warm sunny ... Thanks
We rode in from the East to complete another section of the ever popular CCT Series. Despite a chilly start, the day soon warmed up to what was an almost perfect day out in Canberra's bushland. While for the majority of the day the only traffic we encountered was air traffic above us, we were run off the road at one point by an ignorant local driver, presumably using the trials to access various parts of his neighboring land...you know what they say about Canberra Drivers...
Thank you to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining the caches we found. Apologies for the generic log, it certainly does not detract from the amount of fun and laughter we shared along the way!

Out for a long walk today and collect some caches, thought i would knock out a few in this series. Great collection of cache types and hides, some took me longer than i would care to admit, however completed the Goorooyarroo side this time

A group find with the Capital Crunchers back for stage 2, weather was a bit overcast which was a perfect for the walk, took us about us about 4.5 hours with a couple of detours to do this part of the SST. Terrain quiet flat and unfortunately couldn't bring geodog along but enjoy the company of KityCatch,Darzee Di , ACTChil Joolay , McKtcj and Darkside dan.
excellent day out.

Day six in Canberra with BettyBoo3747. Deadly treadlies back out and headed to the northern suburbs for a couple of trails. We did a bit more of Section 2 of the CCT, and a few JackaKid caches, along with a few extras along the way (this means you - Fore!).
The last one on this trail for us today. We have now met up with where we got to several month's ago.
Some great views from the track up here.
The hide had a bright red rock on top of it which screamed out from the road. We altered that so it wasn't so obvious (hope this is OK)
Thanks for this great run of CCT caches we did this morning.
Thanks, Robmc.

#11316. Day 6 of our two week Canberra Holiday with Robmc. After a few days of walking it was back to the bicycles and time to have a most enjoyable ride collecting more caches along the CCT through Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve. We went as far as we needed, past the old boundary and old coach road for a few more - we met up with the section we had finished last time and that was the turnaround point. This was a lovely area and it was good to see quite a few pretty water holes along the way.
Over the border and here are the views I remember from last time. Pity this is the only one we need in this section. Now it is time to back-track and stop to read the information board at the border. Interesting, what a shame the old homestead that was nearby is no longer there as a place of historic importance.
Thanks Champs2Monkeys

Headed out today with SpecimenX and ZimbaW to walk the CCT trail from Mulligans Flat to the Goo. These caches have been on the radar for some time, and even though it was forecast to the warm, it was too good an opportunity to pass up! Found most of the caches in line with hints, but a couple eluded us in the end. By the end, we were hot, thirsty, tired and sunburnt but happy to have walked the trail and grabbed a bucket load of caches. We still have a few to grab, but perhaps on a cooler day! Loved seeing all the flora and fauna - especially a number of lizards, dragons, and rosellas. Huge thanks to Champs2Monkeys for the trail and giving us an excuse to head out for a hike and exercise.
Nineteenth of the day at 1215 - a quick find in the obvious place, thanks C2M. No hint was needed for this one, even a first timer would have found this one!

Plans were set in place with ZimbaW and AngelG27 to make an attack on the CCT series between Mulligans and the Goo. Lots of laughs and a heap of caches made the hike through this scenic nature reserve very enjoyable on quite a warm day!
Most of the caches were easy finds although a few had us searching for a few moments. Apologies for the generic logs!

My second day caching in the ACT this long weekend. I down here for a rich caching ground and found myself walking deep within Goorooyarroo and Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve. Surrounded by mobs of kangaroos, swooping magpies, rosellas, and three echidnas! A total of 29km, 64 finds and 3 DNFs. Unfortunately I also found out the hard way that winter is over and the UV rays are burning again.
Hopefully I will be back someday to continue on the caching trail.
Thanks for all the caches.

Enjoyable afternoon in the Goo and Mulligan's Flat, collecting some CCT caches. Plan was just to collect one CCT, but I couldn't help myself. Good fun. TFTC C2M
Some time to myself before switching jobs so I decided to use the nicer days to get out and grab some caches. Todays target was a bike ride around Mulligans Flat to collect some more CCT and other random caches.
Continuing along my ride today, next up was the Black Stump. Another nice quick find

Decrypter and I brought our bikes along for a ride so as to find another section of this excellent trail. It was a pleasant ride, but we wanted to leave some more for another day, so we'll be back. Thank you for setting up this trail, and TFTC Champs2Monkeys.
Decided to clean-up caches in this area with TheSkype, Duffco and geokids. I've been here before when the older series of caches existed, so it was deja vu. The track was water logged in some parts but a great walk up to main fence near cct2 electric cache. Tftc.
Champs2Monkeys....thank you once again for this lovely Centenary Trail series. We had a "middle section" to find today, so we looked carefully at the map to see which end might be best to start from.
Finally Horse Park Drive was deemed the better starting point (I think the local government should fix/seal the entry point into this area), so we parked and headed off on what is at the moment a rather wet and muddy trail. It was bikes today, and this did save us a lot of time.
We loved the mild winter day, the colours on the surrounding hills, and also the extra few caches we managed to find along the way.
This is a log for all the caches, and we did find them all today. All caches were safe and dry which was lovely to see after so much rain.
Cheers and thanks for such lovely bush walks/runs/ rides throughout yur series,

Came back up here to complete more of the CCT trail. We started in Forde and made our way over to Goorooyarroo but didn't quite complete it as we had to be out by 3pm according to all the warning signs as the reserve closed!
Every cache was found, a few were a little worse for wear which I have logged on the cache page.
Thanks C2M for this part of the trail, it was a great day out on the bikes!
