We are leaving town and will place some new ones when we settle in our new location
Parked the work ute at the bottom of the hill and walked up. The view from up here is pretty spectacular. No kangaroos..
and thankfully no snakes either! Hint was spot on.

When I saw it, the name made a lot of sense. Parked at the base of the hill and walked up.
Looks like a great MTB trail network here too.

Hi there Grandadbazza.
We found your cache **"Kangaroo Hotel"** today. (This makes our find count 22755).
We cached around Karratha today & found your cache **"Kangaroo Hotel"** at 11:21:00 AM. (This brings our total find count to 22755). We had an interesting trek around the area & found 8 caches today & DNF'd 2.
Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

After a big day exploring Cossack, Port Samson and Wickham we realised we needed to grab a ‘shadow’ clue for the Museum Mystery challenge. This cache was selected as it is close to our accommodation. Had to avoid some dog walking muggles but we enjoyed the drive to gz to record our visit.
TFTC TNLNWe headed out of town, an area we have not cached before and soon found the road off towards this one.
There were a few washouts on the track up to the mountain top and GZ was close so we left the 4WD at the bottom and walked up.
A straightforward find in a logical spot.

Someone left cache sitting on rocks so I put it back in the right spot and coved it with some big rocks
This was a nice stroll from the power line track
A short wander to the top of the ridge and I discovered that there was a vacancy at the Roo Hotel
So I checked in the lobby for a quick cache find [^]
Then I checked out the views

Great spot, a reasonable effort in the 4x4 if you tackle it from the town side but a lot more sedate from the other side. TFTC Bazza!
Found with Bjossi. My friend & trusty driver. Another great view. Left a keyring. TFTC
Great spot for a cache. Couldn't get up the hill on my bike. Gravel too loose. (That's my excuse) Just as well otherwise I would have eaten all the flies in the Pilbara. Thanks Grandadbzza
FTF this morning after a trip to the airport. Kids loved this little hiding spot and a great view too. Realised after doing your next two that we didn't sign in the right spot in the log - we signed on the first blank page instead - sorry! TFTC Grandadbazza - loving all these new hides!!
