Working in the Goo tonight, I arrived early enough to take a short walk and make a quick find. Thanks for the cache Champs2Monkeys
It was almost a year ago when I decided I was going to attend the Canberra Mega event. I found some amazingly cheap accommodation not too far from the site and booked it straight away. I had assumed that my kids would not be interested in attending. However, I was pleasantly surprised when my son declared he was going to come with me. We headed down Thursday night and registered Friday morning. He was very excited by the items in the goodies bag and immediately started asking everyone he saw if they could help to complete his Bingo card. After an hour, it was all filled in. He then spotted the Space Hunt and decided that was our next challenge. Once that was completed, we decided to do some power trail walks where we could collect a few caches while enjoying the great outdoors. We chose to collect some of this series as I was super keen to collect the 366 days of caching challenge. Not long after we started caching, we decided to complete this challenge... it got progressively harder and harder as we kept running out in our local area. But we made it! We headed straight for the challenge cache and decided to collect the caches in this series on the walk back to the car. This cache was a nice quick find. TFTC and the afternoon adventure.
Today is GEOBASH Day in Canberra! We found this cache and signed the log. Thanks to all COs who have put out caches in ACT!
Day 4 of my pre Canberra Mega trip saw me tackling this reserve over 2 days...This was one if the caches I found..this one had no cover.
Arrived at Canberra Park yesterday afternoon and took it easy, just the ad lab and the multi sausage solving to do. Today we were out on our bikes heading for the CCT trail, not doing it all just see how far we can get by 1200. Also picking up those caches that we pass. A good day had no DNF's which is a bonus when Canberra caching. After grabbing the info for the Multi we headed off for the VC part of the CCTTotal Caches Found 15569TFTC DARKSIDEDAN
Out and about kn Canberra with the view to collect caches in the area.Caching with and signing as the group '5 for QLD' and having a great day.TFTCache Champs2Monkeys
Since arriving from our road trip via SA, it's time to make a start on picking up some local caches prior to the Mega event. We have signed all logs today as 5 for QLD to save space for others.Thank you, Champs2Monkeys, for placing this cache for us to find.
Another day spent Pre-Mega geocaching. We spent the morning planning a Suburb Attack, some of which we completed today. We also started one of those horrible Sequential Adventure Labs that are so prevalent down here.We caught up here with our caching friend from QLD, so we have signed as 5 for QLD to save space for others.Log signed and cache replaced as found on March 20, 2024. TFTC, DARKSIDEDAN

Visiting from Adelaide to see family for the festive season, and today its time to tackle more of the CCT.Found this cache and signed the log. Many thanks for the placement and the ongoing maintenance!
Cache found out in the open. It's been placed back inside the log. Logbook and container checked all fine.
Cach found and signed with dalerious whilst signing Challenge caches. What an awesome day it was. The weather was sunny but not too warm. Thank you DARKSIDEDAN for providing this cache. We came to Canberra with an immense and impressive list of caches. There was a huge variety and types, covering Yass and Goulburn as well .The priority for us this trip, was to sign as many Challenge caches as we could. There were many we had to hike for . There were a few that were not found which was disappointing, but plenty that were found and signed. Some beautiful country was covered by foot and vehicle, and we had a ball.I will be using this generic log for all of the caches, but I will mention if there was an issue with the hide, container or log where possible .Please accept my humble thanks for all CO's effort on placing out these awesome caches for us to find.
1st cache of the day, and first in this VC series. This was a "blind find" as we started our walk chasing challenge caches in the Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve. Signed and returned a little better. Found with catnap777 early on the 5th day of our holiday caching in NSW and the ACT. We got smart and did what we could of the "walky" ones on our wish list at the start of each day leaving our afternoons/evenings for finding driveby caches and other challenges to sign. When we left for home, we had quite a collection to sort out. Again we had a long list and a tight schedule, and again we have been amazed at what we can achieve in the time we have. TFTC Champs2monkers. LEST WE FORGET
Quick find, nice cache, all in good order.

On a trip down south and onto the ACT we stopped here to stretch our legs with a walk in the GOO. Ended up doing over 10 kms to a height of 747 m. We selectively chose caches along the way with one specific target of 77.7% recurring mystery challenge. The find here was made quickly.
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Champs2Monkeys

First find of the day on our first adventure through the Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve. It was a quick find once we found the right log. The logbook was wet and mushy, but still able to be scrawled on. Thanks for the series DSD

Thanks for letting me know this log is wet. I will replace the container and logbook asap
Found on a huge invasion of Goorooyaroo today with sebass19. I got the Mulligans Flat CCT caches years ago but left all the Goorooyarroo ones for a big day long into the future. Today was that day, we started early and worked our way north to the point where I finished the Mulligans Flat caches before heading back to the car with some extra finds on the way back. All up, a 6hr walk, our legs were very sore by the end and we had run out of water but the journey was definitely worth the effort. This area has beautiful scenery and is nice and flat basically the whole way through (much flatter than Muliigans Flat, funnily enough)! All caches were found pretty quickly. Most of the caches are without issue but some are a bit wet inside so perhaps a maintenance run of logbooks may be required. Great to have found most of the CCT caches from here to Hall, with a DNF and a few reincarnated ones here and there. TFTC C2M and DSD!
This one: easy find, but unfortunately a little bit wet inside.

Thought I'd pick up these CCT hides on my way to the outer reaches of the Goo.

This was the first cache I passed on my way in but as I had already gone by I left it for my return. Found the container, took a seat, logged and replaced. Thanks for all the caches today.
Out for an evening walk with GLISS! The grass was high and the hayfever horrendous, but the views helped to make up for it. This was the first on our little trail. Thanks for the wonderful adventure!
This was a quick find on an evening adventure with Nibletricecakes - love daylight savings. TFTC
