Found with nissan65 on a beautiful day for caching. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching
Thank goodness I found it. Almost lost hope and decided to have one last look near the places I had already ventured through.
TFTC
Beware of leeches!!! It was swampy today after recent rain and I luckily noticed the leech on my arm before it had a chance to latch on unlucky for me… missed the one on my foot

This was on our target list after a DNF last time we were here. Thankfully, with the help of a local cacher, we found this one quickly.
Mr Shifter nearly made it a drive by cache. This is a very busy bike track and we saw a large roo watching us as we turned around.
Thanks for the hide richo66 and Tatt2squared.

We are staying down the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
Out grabbing a few around this area after dropping hubby at hospital. The container was found after a short search, without any muggles about.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Unfortunately we were unable to locate this one today, could not find anything matching the hint.
The recent rain has increased the foliage which added to the challenge, but with a bit of a poke around we found the cache
Drove around a bit to find right street to get to this cache but when we found our way in it was a quick retrieval. TFTC.
Writing this to get rid of the unwarranted NM log from someone who did not visit the cache before logging a NM.
This cache has been annoying me for some time given I walk past here at least 4 times a week and hadn’t been able to find it! After seeing someone else found it yesterday I was determined to add it to my smileys. Went for a walk this morning and there it was. How had I missed that?! haha TFTC
Several options to reach this cache, we ummed and ahhed for a while then found a likely parking spot and walked down to the cache. Five minutes later the cache was in hand.
Now that the restrictions have eased around the state, time to go caching again. Stay safe everyone... remember to enjoy the little things.
Disabling until socially acceptable to continue with caching. Stay home everyone, stay safe.
Found ! My 1000 find! But what a problem I had getting there. My GPS took me into the middle of a winery, with a locked gate about a K from GZ. I then received the wrong directions from the owner and ended up bush bashing where three roads would have led me to the cache and then the hint led me astray but at last it was in my hands! Hip Hip Hooray!
I was in the area today so had a quick check of this one while I was here... All good still.
Happy caching

I drove to the end of the road,
and headed off for a short stroll
Near the gate which is somewhere at the end of halfway,
a very quick cache find came my way
Too easy

Can't believe it. Mrs C to the rescue again. We came with a replacement cache just in case it was needed, but no. She found the original geocache in record time and with excellent coords.
The hint was spot on and the coords are very good.
Thanks for placing this cache richo66.

Well, this just rounded off the day perfectly. At 9am the electricity mob decided once again we didn't need electricity until late afternoon. No problem as we had several appointments in town. First stop was the Vampires so they could collect some high-quality blood for testing. Second stop was for Breakfast, that done we headed off to our next appointment 2 minutes from there we get a phone call the appointments are canceled, so we head to the shops to do shopping as we stand next to the trolleys we realize we still won't have electricity at home so we decide in the blink of an eye to go get a smiley or maybe 2 at the closest spot. About 40 min later enter this cache. Ignoring the car gps we stop about 50m from GZ. walk over and start looking. With us, we have over $1000 of high-end GPS gadgetry. Feeling confident, but not totally as we have had trouble with caches from the original cache owner before we head of into the indicated area, at this point, the grass is tickling the tip of my nose and Mrs oz is in there somewhere, I can tell by the noise even if I can't see her. We read the clue, we swap places, we increase the search area, we give up, walk back to the car. Drive home. tftc we are defeated .
We have headed south a few weeks early to have a little holiday prior to attending the Oz Geomuster Mega event. We have found ourselves based in Port Macquarie for a few days which has enable us to spend some time exploring some of the nearby towns.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you Tatt2squared for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Out and about doing a spot of caching in the Lake Innes area (sort of) on the first day of a week-long stay in Port Macquarie.
A straightforward find here ... but then I did take the quick & easy option, driving all the way to GZ. Just as well I was on my own ... I wouldn't have been able to take this option if the muggle missus had been on board! As it was, no problem getting to GZ but I had to reverse back a bit to where i could turn around on the way out.
Thanks for placing this cache richo66.

TFTC. Nice easy find. Unfortunately the previous cachet didn't replace camo and made it to easy. Camo replaced and all good for next cacher.
After a light day yesterday where we did a bit of caravan work and general maintenance, it's back on the hunt for us today. We're trying to collect the caches that we have missed, or which just didn't make it to a logical route.
The kids were out on the oval as we walked past, but far enuf away not to be a problem.

Hi there ThousandYardStare.
We found your cache **"Start, End or Halfway ?"** at 3:00:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 17646).
As today is "International Geocaching Day" we were very lucky to have a chauffer to take us around Port Macquarie to find a few. We thoroughly enjoyed our jaunt around the area & ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way. Today we found 5 caches (& DNF'd 0). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container has been cross threaded and doesn't seal as well as it should.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

TFTC Bush bashed to GZ and then saw the track and road not far away. Bush bash back to car.
Opted for the shorter route to the cache today, but have enjoyed walking The Googik in the past. After a brief search, we soon found the cache. Quickly signed the log and we were on our way again with the goal of reaching our 800th find today. TFTC. Brought through personal Travel Geocoin for a visit.
After a DNF asking to check on this one, I did and the cache was still there, in the same spot it has been from day one.
The boys have gone out fishing so I thought I would turn some icons into smilies.
I had a very experienced Cacher with me that did not find it either, you may want to check it out.

**# 14397** Found on our extended 2016 winter escape trek .
A nice day for a drive around Port looking for caches.
A good safe hide that took a few minutes of searching to locate.
Not many muggles around here today.
Thanks for the cache Richo66,

TFTC. Found after a few mins. I went straight to it and didn't look hard enough. had a look around then went for 2nd look and found. Thank you!
I've searched for this one before while out running and with no gps/phone, so didnt really have a chance. Today in between my busy work schedule I drove right up and parked next to GZ. I brushed over area, obviously not good enough before coming back a second or third time to make the find.
Thanks Richo66 and cheers from Browngang

Cool cache! TFTC found on a windy geocaching day in port Macquarie, just getting away for a few days with nudge74
Like so many others it was in the first spot we looked but it took ages to find after lots of casting around elsewhere. We love the Googik track so it's great to have another cache to find along the way. TFTC Richo66
First week of school holidays and here I am back at school. After a short search the cache was found and the log signed. Thanks Richo66, nice one
What an amazing cache.. who even thinks of these things... Pure genius I say... Glad I found it on the weekend though, as this would be a massive muggle area during weekdays... TFTC
Out caching today with Team Robins
Glad to see another cache placed close to the Googik Track, we have walked up to this end before.
Cache was in the 1st place we looked but that didn't mean that we found it straight away. We moved onto another spot but eventually we came back to where we started.

We parked at the end of a road and walked. The first thing we saw was a paperwasp nest and hoped the cache was anywhere but near that. It would have been a quick find if we'd looked more thoroughly the first time. Three searches in the right spot to find a cache is a bit embarrassing! TFTC richo66.
Found at 5:57 PM GAFF1.
Oh so down here is part of the Googik Track is it? Well I took the "lazy" option, cause that is what I am known for, so it was a quick drive to GZ and then a beacon of a camo guided me to the cache. Nothing wrong with that - as a matter of fact I like beacons
We have been to this area a few times as our friends live in a house just up on the corner.
Thanks richo66.
Feedback: A nice start to placing caches and highlighting spots in PMQ - however we now hope that the micro size container placements have well and truly been flushed out of your system

I don't see when caches are published while at work, so before left work I checked, and BARGAIN, a couple had been published, but with them being published at 20 to, and a quarter to 3 in the afternoon, and I still had an hours drive I held no high hopes in getting that 'magical' FTF. The year that I did live Port Macquarie I had never cycled this way, so it interesting trying to navigate to a spot where the GPSr had no tracks, but at least some lead off the new roads shown. Took a short walk through minor scrub, collecting rubbish on the way, and soon found a likely spot and hide, with spot on coordinates.

15:40 FTF. Thanks for putting out some new caches around town richo66. It's nice sometimes to not have to go for a long drive for a find. This is a good location too - your new cache last week on the Coastal Walk and now this one on the Googik Track brings people to two of the finest local walks. If you start at Lake Road you can have a very interesting 16 km walk on the Googik, including walking on Boundary Trail. I have a bit of extra interest in these tracks as I put the GPS traces of both onto Open Street Maps, from which the Geocaching maps are downloaded (but not always very quickly updated for some reason).
