The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 21. Having traveled so far yesterday, I had plenty of time to visit Cossak & Wickham on the way to Karratha for the night.
No one was here and I had a good look round as I had lunch here. I did find 'Mark', but no luck finding a cache.
Thanks.

two sets of eyes spent a fair bit of time at this one looked high and low even stood on the bull bar to try and spot location.
This has been logged as a DNF but the log stated that the area was too busy to attempt the find. I am going to assume the cache is still there. I will keep an eye on future logs.
pug002 did not find it 17/8/2017 on our trip to the Pilbara geocaching, too many muggles around camping, two old guys chatting away and would not leave. We thought haven't you got anything to do lol. Oh well a DNF but should be did not attempt. Thanks Grandadbazza for placing it and hope others have better luck. [:(!]
We have camped here before and have come back as we really enjoyed the place. There were too many muggles rather close to GZ when we arrived, so we came back right at sunset. The muggles had left by then and the cache was in the first place checked. Added our name to the log and watched the beautiful sunset. Thanks to Grandadbazza for bringing us back here again by placing this cache.
Day six of Barnzy12 and Cravo10 adventure to the Northwest of WA, filling out boots with LGAs, rare DT, old caches, and good old fashioned red dirt!
Today we travelled from Karratha to Port Hedland via Cossack, Roebourne, Whim Creek, south hedland and various other detours along the way.
We started the day retracing our steps from the night before going out to Roebourne before turning off to Cossack to complete the three awesome multis out that way and a few other caches before turning back to Roebourne to continue towards Hedland.
We continued along the highway collecting all bar one of the smileys along the way, which was a DNF and one was unable to be reached in our 4wd. We pulled into whim creek, just to check out the pub, ended up having a beer whilst there, and a quick game of pool, we even had a national celebrity turn up in the form of Pauline Hanson and her entourage who had stopped in to get a drink and pose for photos with locals, which was most surprising.
We continued into Port Hedland and really hit our straps here collecting urban cache after urban cache making up bucket loads of time that we lost with one cacher enjoying a snooze in this morning!
Huge day again with 25 plus caches reeled in and another LGA picked up along with some older caches too! Thanks to the local COs we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly today!
Add fav bazza, live your caches around the Karratha area, glad they aren't huge walks in the stinking heat!

Found months ago when there for a day at the beach. Sun was setting and it is such a beautiful spot for a cache.
Another smiley added here today on a 5 week Pilbara and Kimberley break, as a child growing up in the Pilbara, this is my old stomping ground, thanks for the memories and TFTC Grandadbazza
Took some head scratching, but with the help from Sweet FA it was soon found. Thanks Grandadbazza
Found on our way home from a beautiful day out & lovely lunch in Port Walcott where you can have fish or chips or both! Thanks for the cache Baz!
We have finally made it back to our old home town of Karratha, wow how things have changed since we left in 2012! We decided to spend our time at Cleaverville, I had thought we would be able to kayak but the weather gods dont look like they are going to do their thing this visit. After parking our caravan we took our two Jack Russell for a stroll around camp, things have changed here too! A new shelter and a toilet - I dreamed of these facilities in the years we lived here. I ramble sorry. GZ was quite so a perfect time to hunt for this cache, anyone who happened to notice us would have assumed we were doing the grey nomad thing walking our dogs. We hunted around for a while even reading the clue, finally.... Ian spotted the cache. We signed the log and carefully replaced it in its hiding spot
thanks Gradadbazza

Way too many muggles out and about on this fine day. We had to leave this one for another day. We may have to head out bright and early (or just plain early ) or wait until the tourist season is over. Cheers
