Marble Bar to Baldivis with axell33. We pulled over and made our way to gz, or Santa's behind. With the cache signed and found in good stead we hit the highway again. Thanks for the cache.
Caching our way from Marble Bar to Baldivis we stopped to grab this one. We made the short walk to gz and started our search. After a short time we spotted our prize. We soon had our names added to your log book and returned your cache back to where it resides. TFTC Grandadbazza.
Number three in our first cache outing! Love this Christmas tree - let's you know you're nearly home!

Outnabout after finishing the work we needed to do. Great to have time to meander and see more interesting sights because of geocaching. Very warm clamouring around.

Hi there Grandadbazza.
We found your cache **"Santa's back side"** today. (This makes our find count 22749).
We cached around Cape Lambert (Wickham, Point Sampson, Cossack & Roeburn) today & found your cache **"Santa's back side"** at 1:00:00 PM. (This brings our total find count to 22749). We had an interesting trek around the area & found 9 caches today & DNF'd 0.
Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
**Dropped Trackable:** "Caballito - Little Horse".
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards

Geo-hubby made the dash from the car as we drove from Roebourne to Karratha. Lovely memorial to a local lady. Thanks Grandadbazza
Have checked cache after the cyclone and it is still where it should be and in good condition
A nice tribute to a local lady. Great spot to stop and stretch the legs. Cache was an easy find. Thanks Grandadbazza for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
We pulled off the highway into the parking area in front. Plenty of room for both us and the van.
There is still plenty of tinsel on the trees near the parking area but you only notice it once up close as it has now faded badly.
Took the path round the side to the back and while there were lots of rocks to pick from, the trusty GPS came through and the right one was soon found.

On my way back from Roebourne to Karratha, I pulled over for a quick cache.

The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 21. Having traveled so far yesterday, I had plenty of time to visit Cossak & Wickham on the way to Karratha for the night.
An interesting feature on the roadside, thanks for getting me to stop and check it out.
Thanks.

Day 7 of my trip from Perth, Exmouth to port Samson to camp the night ... I Thanks to all the COs for placing caches along my journey ......
pug002 found it 16/8/2017 on our trip to the Pilbara geoching. TFTC Grandadbazza
The caravan Park Balmoral where we are staying Vicki has been such a gem. Enjoyed a night last night sausage sizzle and Irish singer. Recruited another geocacher. Local young man fixed our mobile phone issues, people seem to be so helpful in Karratha.

After camping at De Gray River free camp last night we were heading to Dampier caching along the aim and thought that we would drop into Port Headland to see how it has changed since our last visit. We then headed along the way stopping for more caches as they appeared.
Being the end of June we were way to late to see any sign of Santa and even too early to have Xmas in July so unfortunately we saw Santa rock without the festive additions. On the upside or should b=we say the backside we did locate a nicely hidden cache that had a lizard guardian watching over it.
We happily added our name to the log before heading off not really knowing what Santa looks like.
Thanks Grandadbazza for the cache.

Nice hide! Stopped here for a cache before we arrive at Karratha today. Nice a d warm and well out of sight of muggles. TFTC
Have today checked this cache. It is in the correct location, in good condition and has plenty of room on the log.
I had to take a run down to Karratha from Port Hedland today and picked up some of the easier caches on my way, I thought I'd leave the harder ones for another day. I found this one easily at 11:32 this morning although the footing is not all that stable. Coordinates were spot-on and a fairly obvious hide. I tucked the cache back where I found it. Singapore - Perth - Rottnest Island - Penguin Island - Geraldton - Kalbarri - Denham - Carnarvon - Coral Bay - Exmouth - Port Hedland - Broome - Darwin and all Nationalparks on our way
Our trip with Stopover in Singapore and through Western Australia to the Northern Territory with the Campervan from Perth to Darwin led us to many beautiful caches. Sometimes the temperatures were very high for us Europeans, but we have always managed the walk well and are looking forward to standing so many miles from home in the logbook. Australia is a very fantastic country, with lots of sights and especially so many animals, from the kangaroo over dugongs, dolphins, emu's and even the blue whale and the whale shark we have seen a lot. We would like to thank all the owners for the layout of the caches, their care and the showing of mostly special places.
We send many greetings and a G 'Day from Leipzig in Germany from the 2 Supermuggels

Day five of Barnzy12 and Cravo10 adventure to the Northwest of WA, filling out boots with LGAs, rare DT, old caches, and good old fashioned red dirt!
Today we had an easier day planned with not so much driving! Staying around the township of Karratha, we had a nice sleep in and then warmed the car up on the way to Dampier to pickup a couple of caches on the way to meeting local cacher grandadbazza at the same location as dimor recent event.
We had a crack at the archived cache nearby but couldn't get it from its hides hole so left it alone even with a previous finders assistance, after a good chat with Barry we parted ways to collect some very rare virtual caches around the burrup peninsula and some semi off road caches including an earth cache.
We were about two thirds of the way through out Dampier caching run when notifications came through for a new multi not too far away, so we completed the 4x4 duties and then backtracked all the way to the red dog statue and claimed a very swift FTF some 1200km from home. Special thanks to dimor for a well put together multi that was simple enough for us simple minded cachers.
We then continued along the plan collecting as many caches around Dampier as possible, with some not attempted due to the extreme heat and the amount of caches hidden ontop extremely hot rock piles which have burnt my hands enough this trip.
We finished up on the Dampier area after seeing my favourite little island around sams island, such a wonderful spot just a hop skip and jump from he shores of Dampier.
After lunch we collected a few more smileys around Karratha before heading to Roebourne, Wickham and point Samson to collect all the smileys in those towns to make tomorow Journey a little easier, as we now only have to detour to Cossack on the small ish drive to port hedland.
A huge day out collecting 3 virtuals, heaps of traditionals, several multis, a puzzle and an earth cache. Full on day for caching finishing up around 8pm with some take away atop a small lookout hill.
Looking forward to heading to Port Hedland tomorrow via Cossack, Whim Creek and a few other sights!
Made this harder than it needed to be by getting on the rocks too soon and rock hopping to the end to make a quick find.

Found while visiting from Canberra. We stopped here on the way back from Point Samson with some Karratha locals. An interesting location and good cache. TFTC
I regularly travel Karratha to Roebourne and I'm gradually knocking off the caches along this route!b Lovely flowers at this time of year. The white rocks are so different to most of the rest of the area!
Today we decided to head back into Karratha to find some geocaches, this was the first for the day. We pulled over and walked the 50 metres to GZ, we have passed this spot many times over the years, even seen Santa. I have often wondered whether I should take my metal detector to these white rocks but never quite gotten to doing it. Today our hunt was short although I did take the time to reaquaint myself with some of the wonderfully prickly shrubs only the Pilbara has. Once scratched I didn't make the same mistake again all day long! Once we had signed the log we carefully replaced the cache and hit the road for our next adventure.
thanks

After three days in Port Hedland it was time to come 'home' so thought why not stop and see was Santa is hiding under his back side
Parked on roadside as didn't think taking the 2wd any closer was a good idea. Wasn't too sure approaching this in shorts and thongs was a good idea either but all good
Quick find
Thanks Bazza

Thanks for the cache Bazza! We could have almost driven up to it, but no, we've got to walk through the spinifex in inappropriate shoes! Lol. But nothing will upset me today because we're on our way to Broome.
Forgot to log this earlier!! Found on 7th March with Tomahawk3. Nice easy find, new co-ords spot on. TFTC Grandadbazza!
