Went straight to the obvious (but wrong) location and looked around for a good while. Were starting to think we'd lost our mojo when Dad (again the champion!) caught it out the corner of his eye. Good cache.
Due to repeated incidences of deliberate spoilers & photographs being posted on several online social media sites & in cache logs, by a small cadre of relatively new cachers , our caches no longer fit the D/T levels or challenges as intended.
Add to this the often spiteful/derogatory & negative comments logged and/or posted online by these same few people, an increase in 'muggle' (?) interference & the disappearance (?) of several caches in recent days, as well as verbal attacks in general conversation, & we have come to the unfortunate decision that it just isn't worth wasting our time, effort & money on placing & maintaining caches any longer.
Following repeated requests for these people to respect the caches, the COs & to follow Groundspeak guidelines by amending their behaviour, which was met with 'We can do what we like!', we no longer wish to be the subject of a few spiteful individuals' attacks & rather choose to enjoy our caching experience without their input.
We thank all those that have enjoyed our caches & responded positively & in the true spirit of Geocaching & can only apologise to those who this decision may disappoint.
As always ...

TFTC - this was toward the end of a long night, fortunately even with GPS's jumping MM soon had it in hand.
Well this one was by far the hardest to get to tonight. We missed the nice easy approach then decided to leg it through the waist high grass from the footpath to the gas line clearing. That in itself was crazy enough at about 11:30 at night. We made it through without incident then weaved our way through the trees and spider webs to GZ. Once there we spent quite some time looking around and were about to give up when as always one more look over here done the trick. Well we weren't looking for that type of container but it will do.
We happily signed in before weaving our way back through the prementioned trees and spider webs (because you can't walk the same track out) to the clearing.
We decided to head up the clearing before crossing over again.
Thanx for the adventure VC

Out and about today with RoddyC and DiamonJS for a morning walk around the Harry Potter series.
After that, DiamonJS and headed onto the McHoot series.
Now it is just me left to walk around Minnippi Parklands.
Thanks for the caches.

Found it quite easy. The container had fallen down and was laying on the ground. No serious damage done to the container, however it was a bit tricky to get it back to its ANTY spot.
A day was planned out on the dark side, and what better spot to start from than the Minnippi Parklands.
Parked the bike and followed a faint trail, sidestepping lantana, before arriving at GZ. A look here and there before finding an obvious container. It looks like it was once held in place with wire, but is no longer tethered. Signed and returned.

This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #2722. Thanks **Vegan Cachers (VC)** for showing us this spot. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

OMG .... I was looking everywhere as my phone GPS was jumping around and then I turned around and this cache frightened the living daylight out of me!!! At least I found it!!!! No snake sightings today TFTC
Last time I was in the area I didn't get this one as I run out of time and day light, today I've got it after I read the clue and stopped looking down, but now it was dark and a couple I wanted to get on the way back will have to wait. Thanks again Vegan Cachers.
On to the next one. The GPS was bouncing around a bit.

Today we went caching with the team of Kristie Morgan. We had a great walk in the Minnippi Parklands area, just completing our last one as the rain started falling.
The guys wandered off to find this one, once again it took awhile before it was spotted.
Thanks for placing this cache Vegan Cachers (VC)

Found by Sunshine Toledo (ST) and Jinga2 (J2) at 1:11pm. All caches we were looking for today were in Minnippi so we got an early start. Back we walked and on to this cache down another track on the east side of the park. The cache was found after looking for a long time. The co-ords are out a bit so the best ones for us were 141 and 056. No Joe Blakes were seen and at this time of year, we shouldn't have. TFTC
A little afternoon stroll to wrap up my two remaining icons in here... Plenty of signs of flooding recently, with lots of mud around...
I'm not wild about snakes so hoped a) I didn't come across any; b) this wasn't one of those caches with a rubber snake inside.
I arrived into a GZ which looked like a great place for a cache. It also looked thoroughly 'searched' though I guess storms may have done some of the damage.
I looked here and there, then read more logs, then decided to look for geotrails. As I followed one, I suddenly spotted the cache and realised I had misinterpreted the hint in one little word.
Oh well... All good here today so TFTC. (Coords were hard to keep steady, but I think my phone was saying maybe 144/058 for what it's worth.)

While out for a bike ride in this area today we passed by here and found this cache.
No Joe Blakes around here today which is probably a good thing.

Found it, the little one loves to leave treasures and trade. 5 cent coins seem to be her signature. We call her the 5 cent bandit
Today I had a couple of hours to myself and wanted to take the dog for a walk. However, I did not attempt any of the climbs on my own! This one had me looking for a little while. I could not work out the clue at all. The only thing I could see that could match, I circled and circled but nothing to note... except a snake skin!! So I retreated a little and surveyed my surroundings. I looked across from where I was and there it was! I little stretch and I had it in my hand. TFTC Vegan Cachers
I very rarely go caching at night but with the rains tipped for Sunday it seemed that the only chance to cache this weekend would be a night time affair. So a plan was hatched first with fine dining and accompanying fluids and then a late , be it very late night adventure around this lovely park in the moonlight.
I was really staring to think this cache was also an unfortunate choice as well. We looked everywhere with no success. Reading other logs we widened our search and still came up empty handed. Without a little more information from PAF a doubt we would have ever found this one. A agree with some of the other posts about 8 m out from my GZ (trust me my GPS had lots of time to settle)

Walking off the food and wine in the warm night air
We lobbed up here and this area looked vaguely familiar Stumbled about and pretty sure I checked every potential hidey hole at least three times. So, where it it? A PAF and we realised the cache was IPS in the vicinity of our search area. Ruzzelz spotted a wee marsupial but no sign of Joe here.
On we meandered into the dark...

I don't like Joe Blakes.
So I trod hard to GZ trying to scare off any in the area. Well KerriMG, Lenore1972 and I looked here and there. It was Lenore reading through old logs that gave us the light bulb moment and from where I was standing I could finally see the cache. Yeah!!
Log signed but the attaching device has been broken but with a little bash here and there it is re attached (for now). Sorry Linden ( I mean VC) if I broke it but I think it was like it as I grabbed it. TFTC. Which is an easy find once you know where to look (aren't they all?!?).

Out for the day with Lenore1972 & Nikid1. This was our 3rd cache of the day & finally a smilie - yeh!! Although for a while there we were concerned it was going to be another DNF.... We bush bashed our way the final metres to GZ warily watching for snakes & being very noisy! Once at GZ we were faced with a plethora of places to look so set about searching but the cache was not forthcoming. We checked out the hint but that was too cryptic for us so read some past logs & finally came across something that made us rethink where we were searching & Nikid1 soon spotted the cache. OMG how had we missed that! Log signed, swaps made & after Nikid1 made some running repairs the cache was replaced as found.
TFTC Vegan Cachers, so glad to finally have found 1 today!

Thursday fun with barbb and FastEd. Cache #11 of 14. We've been meaning to get out to Minnippi Parklands for a few weeks. I'm glad we've waited, because each week more and more caches seem to be popping up here . No Joe Blakes today...but we did find a cache. FastEd and I nearly walked straight past it, lucky barbb had her eyes on the prize . TFTC Vegan Cachers
Out for the day with barbbowman and Raynersinoz.
I was a bit worried by the cache name, but thankfully none were spotted. Even though I was with two other ladies, if one was spotted there would have been a girlie scream and it would have been me.
Log signed, cache replaced.

Following a thorough inspection of the "old timer" at GZ resorted to sneaking a peek at the hint.
Gibberish, so a look on a most authorative page explained it. "Not A Good Look". So resumed looking and came across the prized one.
No Joe Blakes were seen or harmed in this episode... **TFTC**

FINALLY! Getting my act together to catch up on un-logged caches so my stats are correct for the Alice event. Met up with a friendly group of cachers for a day of exploring this precious piece of parkland and bush. Really enjoyed caching with the mob and thank you to the C.O.'s for their efforts in putting the caches out here. It is a pity that some have been archived because of the actions of a minority as these caches were part of a good tour of this area.
Bit nervous about this one as we didn't really want to meet one! Big relief to only meet the cache and it was harmless! TFTC VC's x

Out with Crew 153 and a bunch of other caching teams to tackle the caches in the Minnipi Parklands area. We had a great day finding a variety of caches, with everyone contributing to the finds.
Thank you Vegan Cachers (VC) for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

This afternoon I've joined up with Crew 153, JustaTrifle, eatmorchikin, Diamonjs, joojoo57, echocage1 and geefer to take a long walk around the caches in the southern half of the Parklands.
Seeing as we came from the south, the trailhead marker further north had me a little confused... Well, the cache is only 34 metres off the track to the east here, so let's go this way I was expecting to find a Joe Blake, so searched in all the spots where one could be hiding, but no find The cache was certainly not what I was expecting to find, nor where I thought it would be! Glad it is a smiley. And as we headed north again back to the cars, I realised that the trailhead marker might be useful after all TFTC, Vegan Cachers.

while on a caching stroll around the area this was next on the list for a couple of, we had split for a find, nice easy find, as per usual we went in hard way came out easy. CO might want to check the fittings of cache, we did a quick repair but... TFTC
25th of 26 finds for the fun day of caching with a group of Facebook friends.
The group were getting tired after 7 hours of caching so it was a relief to get to the area for the last one before we all departed. The group size had slowly decreased and it was now down to the last 5 to arrive for the search.
It took a while before it was spotted as everyone was looking for the proverbial Joe Blake for a cache.
Thanks for the cache Vegan Cachers (VC)

Took a quick circuit around the lake this afternoon just on dusk, to try to improve my daily step count. Took me a few minutes and eventually I found it about 8 to 10 metres away from where the Garmin was pointing.

I walked straight past this one, but RoddyC spotted it!
Found this cache while attending the Bulimba Creek CITO event. After collecting some rubbish, joined up with RoddyC, Hunting rabbit and patrol14 for a wander around the park and a few smilies!
Thanks Linden/6 for the cache.

Was walking through the bush to get this when I came across a much easier way to get there... then it was more bush followed by substantial amounts of time staring at trees and avoiding thorns. Was reaching my give up point when I finally spotted the cache! Now the trick is to remember which way I came here from...
We were here for CITO Event with Patrol14, The Hunting Rabbit, and Ghost Gums, doing a geocaching tour around the lake.
Yeah, well we were here with a couple of china plates, a Charley Wheeler and the cheeze and kisses, having a squiz at some silly thing showing on me oadie! Well, as it turns out, it was 'round Gary Jack of a tree! Ridgee Didge! Betcha five Fiddly-did I found it fair and square!

This was our last stop for the day. Once at GZ it took a little look about before the càche was spotted. We added names to the log before heading back to the car out of the heat of the day. TFTC
Last stop for the day and glad to be almost back at the car, the midday sun was getting a little bit warm by now, and followed along the track and soon found a nice turn off. Towards the cache. It did take a little looking around but soon enough found the right spot and soon had names in the log before heading onwards.

It felt like I was on the homeward run and not quite the dash around the park I had hoped for. Undoubtedly I would be in trouble for being out too long.
Walked to the waypoint, missed the path and back tracked a bit before stepping off the beaten path.
Then I had to step off the beaten-path to the less-beaten-path to get to GZ. After wandering around a bit the cache was spied as was the very useful instrument.

Found with lego51. After some searching we had the cache in hand and were soon on our way. TFTC.
Found with Gadget Jack whilst throwing a hand ball around looked up and missed the ball as something caught my eye. Tftc
Out with Tough Mothers today. Certainly had the shakes, no snakes though, the mozzies have carried them away. The tall TM can reach some, but where they area bit higher, we send the shortest aloft where needed.
Lots of mozzies today out with misssusan and remsjw and mnance101 and jemilalucy tf5c
Out caching with Remsjw, Bennyboppers, Misssusan79 and Jemillalucy. Great hide. TFTC!
It's been a while since I been for a ride on my bike so I decided during the week to grab the bike today to do some caching. The main target of the day was the nearby McHoots series and some newer caches in Minnippi Parklands were an added bonus to my plans. Unfortunately I had no friend with me today, as recommended in an earlier log, bot some ingenuity soon had the cache to hand. TFTC
No snakes here today only a cache which we found quite quickly happy to be third with goe daughter "Kingkeylocksmiths" TFTC
18/3/16 out caching with Marina25 today. Thankfully there was a nice bush path to follow and then a slight trail to GZ. We wandered around looking but found nothing. We read the logs and thought we knew where to look but still nothing. As we stopped and stepped back to ponder the cache came into view. It's often the obvious that is hard to spot. I bent down to assist Marina25 to grab the cache and as she utilised me I went toppling over and nearly took her with me. Thankfully she had managed to grab the cache and so the log was signed. We swapped positions for the return and a much safer return occurred. TFTC Linden/6
I was still on my way back to the car but decided to have a quick look at this one. I was looking into every nook and cranny in the area.
Eventually, I had to message the CO and ask what the hint meant. I had googled it and all I could come up with was "Not a Good Look". Probably what I was doing. Lol.
With the correct hint, I found the cache almost immediately. I did have a bit of trouble laying my hands on it but managed in the end. Short people should probably bring a friend.
