Looked around a while, but thanks to two nimble sons we found it. A thanks must also go out to the nuts! Thanks heaps for the cache VC. This was our last for the day, and marked one of our best days yet.
Due to repeated incidences of deliberate spoilers & photographs being posted on several online social media sites & in cache logs, by a small cadre of relatively new cachers , our caches no longer fit the D/T levels or challenges as intended.
Add to this the often spiteful/derogatory & negative comments logged and/or posted online by these same few people, an increase in 'muggle' (?) interference & the disappearance (?) of several caches in recent days, as well as verbal attacks in general conversation, & we have come to the unfortunate decision that it just isn't worth wasting our time, effort & money on placing & maintaining caches any longer.
Following repeated requests for these people to respect the caches, the COs & to follow Groundspeak guidelines by amending their behaviour, which was met with 'We can do what we like!', we no longer wish to be the subject of a few spiteful individuals' attacks & rather choose to enjoy our caching experience without their input.
We thank all those that have enjoyed our caches & responded positively & in the true spirit of Geocaching & can only apologise to those who this decision may disappoint.
As always ...
**SAFE & HAPPY CACHING**

Holy Moly! Five of us on the ground. Nimble nephew up the tree and he found it. was tough for him to open and to extract log. log has been wet and notes faded... TFTC
Monkey Maker did the honours and up he went - however he was not very nice to the local bugs and kept eating them! LOLOLOL, I of course helped by laughing hysterically at his reaction. TFTC
We were on the home stretch now but we still had a few more to pick up along the way. Oo and unexpected tree climb, well thats always welcomed, few and far between they are. It was close to midnight by now and I was onto my third torch, it's not as bright as the other two but it did the job after a few minutes of looking. I dropped something while I was up there but I can't remember what now, it's almost been a month since we found it but HWD was there to pass it back up and soon enough we were gone.
No nuts tonight unfortunately, a shame really as they are my favorite.
Thanx again VC

Out and about today with RoddyC and DiamonJS for a morning walk around the Harry Potter series.
After that, DiamonJS and headed onto the McHoot series.
Now it is just me left to walk around Minnippi Parklands.
Thanks for the caches.

I was over the dark side mountain bike riding this morning and decided to try and use the remaining part of the day to clear a few caches from this area. With a willing support crew of Ms Maddy as a spotter and the triple 0 standby person off we set.
On 2 previous attempts we could not see the cache fro trying. It was looking like this would be the issue once more. A few PAF's when unanswered so i read a few previous logs and looked at a few photographs. While the photographs proved of little assistance there was just enough information in one log to make me concentrate on particular aspects even then i still had to scan for the right place. Once spotted the cache was for the taking. In fact is was a less of a challenge than I had expected when reading some previous accounts.

Lazy Friday afternoon after my regular sojourn to Ipswich was cancelled Ruzzelz was keen to clear out the rest of this trail.
Deja vu at this location We were here so long I got a stiff neck trying to spot the wretched thing. Finally it was eyeballed and Ruzzelz went in for the grab. I did the steadying and tweezing and logging. Nasty little sucker to spot this one Funny how once you see something, you can't unsee it. eatmorchikin rocked up with some chicks as she had been doing maintenance nearby. Bit of a chat ensued
Nice arvo out and lots of team work
TFTC VC!
This time brought the right climbing accessories and a quick find was made. Tftc
A day was planned out on the dark side, and what better spot to start from than the Minnippi Parklands. After completing a loop of the Southern half, I grabbed this one before stopping back at the car for morning tea then continuing on to the Northern sector.
Couldn't see anything from the ground, so it was easier just to head up and search. Didn't touch DeezNuts , I used my bike to give me a leg up.
Took quite some searching, partly because my eye was watery after scratching my cornea at the last cache, and the overcast light seemed to be quite glary.
Found it eventually, signed and returned. Nice lagoon views from here.

This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #2736. Thanks **Vegan Cachers (VC)** for showing us this spot. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

After a couple of FTF KerriMG and I headed over here for a lunch break and to see if we could find this one after a DNF a while ago. It was mentioned at an event that this was easy to see from the ground, but we had 3 sets of eyes last time and had no luck. But today may be the sun was shining the correct way and finally it was spied. With a push (literally) from Kerri I was up the tree making my way to the cache. Grabbed it ok, but forgot the tweezers didn't we. So Kerri went back to the car while I sat in the tree like every grown woman does waiting!?!?
Log was extracted but my pen wasn't going to write on that log. Kerri passed up her trusty pen, but even with that I managed some chicken scrawl that under forensic investigation should be able to be made out to say ND1 & KMG.

Deez Nutz they dangle!! This was geokid's girlfriend's first find
We used a stick that fit, pushed it the bottom and twisted out the log - it's a waterproof and tough log, so you won't likely damage it.

About six weeks ago I was in San Francisco in America with the family and there was a serious of caches up trees which I targeted and gave all favourite points and this will be getting one to,loved the clue .TFTC.
We went with Di organ into the city to get a 4/5 cache. No one wanted to climb that high so we needed a plan B. We quickly decided that this area was the best bet.
From the ground this one looked hard, but Rick up the tree soon had the cache in hand.
It took us longer to get the log book out of the cache than it did for it to be found. All safe and put back.
... I saw no spiders.

Today we went caching with the team of Kristie Morgan. We had a great walk in the Minnippi Parklands area, just copleting our last one as the rain started falling.
This was the 1st of the morning, it took some time to spot, eventually it was the climber that spotted it. It took so long to get the cache out of the container, then on to the next one.
Thanks for placing this cache Vegan Cachers (VC)

While out for a bike ride in this area today we passed by here and found this cache.
Our last find for the day after a cache tour around the bike ways.
Again I was the one who went in search of the cache container.
This one took me quite a while to find, we almost thought it was gone.
But then hidden behind some leaves there it was, yayyyy!!
Another cool one and an enjoyable way to finish our caching day.

This is the fourth time I've been here for this cache. The first three I had two people with me up the tree and still couldn't find it. Was thinking of giving this one up. I was close by getting a multi and I thought before leaving I'd give this one a go again. Read through the logs and The vegans said you can see it from ground. So when I got to GZ I looked up to see if it was visible from ground level. And still I couldn't spot it. I climbed up the first step, then made my way to second. As I looked up, I spotted it straight away. Staring me right in the face. How the hell did I miss this 3x and the fourth I spot it straight away??. Only annoying thing was I had to climb back down to my car to get a tool to get the log book out. I climbed back up the tree the places the cache in its rightful place. Signed and logged. TFTC Den and Linda. Absolutely enjoying all this tree climbing you're making me do. Brings me back when I was a child and climbed every tree I could climb
Found the tree however no cache. Be careful if u have children looking with u the tree is full of funnel web spiders. Didn't notice until 15 mins after climbing it.
I am fairly sure that there are NO FUNNEL-WEB spiders in or near the cache tree.
Other spiders possibly.
Always be careful when caching, we live in Australia, where the most deadly snakes, spiders, marine life & toxic plants abound. We even have some pretty gnarly birdlife!
Always read all & any information available regardless of where you are caching & REMEMBER, the choice of whether you continue searching is yours & yours alone.
As always, safe & happy caching!

Seems I made yet another unfortunate choice in attempting to locate this one in the night hours. Not visible from the ground in any of the many angles we tried. I was even accused of having a rest when I was really looking for just that special angle.
Er, some of us were actually trying to eyeball the cache whilst others were leaning against the tree
Mysteriously a cyclist pedalled past on the path. No lights. Just a shadowy figure cruising by. Nothing to see here.

Cache checked today & photos taken of log entries for verification
All good here.
Not sure why there are five DNFs as the cache is even visible from the ground!
Visible enough that I was able to take a photo with my iPhone **before** climbing the tree.
Better luck to future seekers!
Safe & Happy Caching.

Yes an unfortunate choice. No luck other than an unfortunate twist to my back on exiting the tree.
Arrived to find my 2 geo partners standing at a tree looking upwards. Maybe because I was late it was decided that I could go up since we couldn't see anything from below.
I was just saying that my legs couldn't reach as I felt KerriMG boost me up onto that first limb. Well I checked out a few hidey holes and areas pointed at from those below but came up empty every time. Will keep an eye on this one.

Out for the day with Nikid1 & Lenore1972 & this was a bad start for the day - stats of 0 for 2!! Lenore & I had a sneaky peek for this one while waiting for Nic to arrive & couldn't see it from the ground so all 3 of us headed back & we sent Nic up the tree to investigate a few possibilities but unfortunately none of them turned out to be the cache. Obviously we need to warm up our caching eyes before heading out next time! Will be back next time we visit this fab area.
Was here bright and early this morning, to grab some exercise beofre heading off to my sons soccer game. Left my caching eyes at home. Found the clue OK, but never saw the container - not from the ground nor once I climbed and explored the tree. if you collect caches on your own, you somtimes get days like that.
Nice tree, Thanks VC

Remembered to put log extraction implement in pocket before commencing search of the area.
Followed the CO's hint, inscription and pointer. Why can't more CO's be this helpful?
Safely on to the next without any injury... **TFTC**

FINALLY! Getting my act together to catch up on un-logged caches so my stats are correct for the Alice event. Met up with a friendly group of cachers for a day of exploring this precious piece of parkland and bush. Really enjoyed caching with the mob and thank you to the C.O.'s for their efforts in putting the caches out here. It is a pity that some have been archived because of the actions of a minority as these caches were part of a good tour of this area.
Really sad to hear that C.O.'s have copped nastiness for maintaining standards and insisting rules be followed. If we didn't have rules the world would be in even more chaos than it already is. Sad to see these caches go as they were part of a fun day and now others will miss out because of the inconsiderate behaviour of a few. x TFTC Dennis & Linda.

Out with Crew 153 and a bunch of other caching teams to tackle the caches in the Minnipi Parklands area. We had a great day finding a variety of caches, with everyone contributing to the finds.

10th of 26 finds for the fun day of caching with a group of Facebook friends.
For me this was the next one to be found after the rest of the group had signed a couple of caches which I had signed previously (including IQ2 which I had previously found in 2004). Gmccul had headed skyward before I arrived and part of sewrainbow joiner her in the search. the cache was spotted from the ground and directions were given for Gmccul to retrieve it.

Another one to the list. A nice cool day for us all to join together and grab this bunch of caches.
A nice little tree climb that took us a while to spot the container until I realised it was right next to my head!

This was found with group assistance. Our name is in the log, but we won't log a find until we actually do the climb for this TFTC.
This afternoon I am joining Crew 153's mob to take a walk around some of the Parklands, but seeing as I had arrived before they had returned to this area for their lunch break, I figured I'd grab a couple they had already done.
The others have arrived and settled down for a rest, so I continued over to this cache. Ms JustaTrifle kept me company. I had no trouble getting up to this one, and quickly had the cache in hand, but there was no way i could get the logbook out of the container It has been pushed to the bottom where it has unrolled and is well stuck We tried every tool we had available, but had no success. I hope the CO will allow me the find. TFTC, Vegan Cachers.

I believe that team work is part of caching so I am claiming this as a smilie, sometimes I solve, sometimes I find, sometimes I climb and sometimes I am just sitting there going "sh*&" don't fall but you know at any time it was a very group effort went into this/any find of this type. Thanks for a great cache and it made a great group of people into a great group of known group of friends. TFTC
This was a toughy! The hint was helpful but as often happens, I got up there and could not see the cache for nuts. Neither could Pipper Pointer on the ground. I went here and there until finally it popped up a bit further out than I expected.
I was pretty surprised at some of the balancing moves I then had to pull for this one; don't climb here with wet shoes or if you're feeling heavy!
A one-handed extraction led to realising my tweezers were down below, so PP threw them up. Even with them, it took quite a while to extract the log (it may be a little lengthy for the container perhaps). After that, it was a one-handed replacement which was again tricky, but at last I could climb down and we could bike back to the carpark. TFTC and an exciting end to the morning.

Patrol14 was eager for a climb, so after a leg up, she was all over it!
Found this cache while attending the Bulimba Creek CITO event. After collecting some rubbish, joined up with RoddyC, Hunting rabbit and patrol14 for a wander around the park and a few smilies!
Thanks Linden/6 for the cache.

My very agile Geobuddy - I am sure - checked every nook- checked every branch... Surely the clue was not a misdirection or... After what seemed an eternity- spotted- name logged!! Nice spot ! TFTC!!!
Took awhile to find. I went higher than where it was.
Interesting to note how many really found the log as there's not much signatures in the log. Hmmm...
TFTC. I it. a fav of course!

Good climb. RoddyC saw the sparkle. Here for the CITO event with RoddyC, THR and Ghost Gums. TFTC.
Magpies were guarding my way to this cache, taking a drink from the water in a hole. But I need to redeem my tree climbing skills, and once the cache was spotted from the ground, then lost again while I waited for muggles, then spotted again, I was on my way. Of course I had to relocate the cache once I change my angle again! It took a bit of balance to retrieve the cache and I was unsure I would get it back at one stage, but after a bit of a rest it was done. TFTC!
Out at the Bulimba CITO Event with Orionj and LHE Duo and we head to this cache.
Orionj loves a climb and was soon up .
Being vertically challenged it took me a while to spot the cache and then when I did Orionj reached and dropped it to me.
Signed the log and returned to Orionj to return to hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Linden/6 All good with this cache

We were here for CITO Event with Patrol14, The Hunting Rabbit, and Ghost Gums, doing a geocaching tour around the lake.
Patrol14 decided to climb here, after we had spotted where the cache was. Nice climb, but a bit of trouble retrieving the log. All good in the end.

2nd time around and starting to think it might be a different tree to what the hint was saying. How high does one need to climb?
Yeah. The title is apt. As ever I am on the goecycle, which for me means wearing bike shoes. Rigid, hard plastic soles. Not the best, but this one was not too bad.
Lots of nice places to stand, including the suggested hint. I was extremely happy to be able to get the log out without assistance- the assistant had been left behind for this one.
Thanks for helping me waste an hour this morning Linden6. [^]

Out with the group. Several attempts to pass the ink later, we almost had to retrieve one member.
Out caching with misssusan79, Bennyboppers and Remsjw. Misssusan79 did the honours. TFTC!
Fortunately there was a nice piece of wood in just the right spot to make the first step a tad easier. Once up it was just a matter of climbing a bit higher and looking. Finally spied the cache but was unable to extract the log. So back down I went to get tweezers. Even then, the log proved rather well wedged-in but eventually I was able to get enough purchase on it to extract it. Lucky it wasn't plain paper.
Back up the tree I went to replace the log in the cache.

When OrionJ suggested we go look for some Caches here I had no idea what to expect as I had never visited here before. When we drove in I could not believe we had lived in this area for almost 30 years and had no idea this enormous park even existed. This is probably the thing I like most about Geocaching, the places you discover. Parking was not too far from GZ. When we arrived at GZ the hint made it obvious where we needed to be to find the Cache. It took about ten minutes before two people saw what they were looking for at the same time. Our names were soon added to the log. TFTC
Stopped into Minnippi Parkland again today with LHE Duo in much drier conditions for a couple of quick finds.
This was the first one and well knew exactly what the Terrain rating meant so soon in the right spot to have a proper look it still took a little while to make the find. But after a few minutes of looking something was spotted and sure enough a cache was there, got the log signed and it was just a little bit of effort to get the log tight enough to go back in properly.

Joint second to find with Lego51. After about half an hour of searching I found it. Tricky little thing almost give up but then out of the corner of my eye I saw it. Thanks for the cache, and keep up the great tree climbs. .
Hello Gadget Jack Great timing on my behalf as you were already up the tree it saved me thinking of getting up there. Not sure I would've found it from down here. Nice to meet you again. Small world. Tftc
I saw these caches being published last night but I was home alone with the kids who were all in bed and couldn't get out. I was surprised to wake up this morning and see that the still hadn't been found. I got dressed and rolled on down.
I must have walked around that lake two or three times as I visited each cache in varying degrees of darkness.
The GPS took me to a spot out in the open on this one so I left it and came back later. Later, with some daylight, it still took me to the right spot. After I sent a screenshot of the GPS to the CO I got a hint of which direction to head but still couldn't find the cache.
As there was no tree climbing attribute, I looked all around the base and found a spider in a crack but no cache. Taking into account the terrain rating, I climbed the tree and found a sleeping possum but no cache. In the end, I had to give up as I had to get home and get the kids off to school.

**FTF** First to find. Saw these come out last night and decided to leave them for someone else knowing I'd been there earlier in the day. When I woke this morning I saw they all had dnf on them so since I was going past later in the morning I decided to pop in. For the life of me I could not see this one from the ground but when I saw the hint the penny dropped. Creative people out there lol.... Beautiful big mumma possum up there so stealth was used to not disturb, must have been in a deep sleep too, didn't even realise I was there. A fun little climb and eventually spotted the prize once I had surveyed area from above. Good hide. Thank you for the fun climbs. Tftc
