Found with Cympull with permission to log. Very clever hide. Thanks for bringing us here, didnt realise there was a trail under rail bridge. TFC
Thanks for your amazing cache Macwatt. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Found with Fisha1288. Logged with permission of CO. Nice camo so earns a favorite from me. Cheers, Cympull.
WalKed here today as the road is closed with slips and my bike is not working well. Glad it was a sunny day.. Said hello to the horses and then waved to the train driver as he rolled by. Big long train heading west. Permission granted to log cache. Wonderful few days rounding up McCants well crafted caches.
We read the description and hint before jumping out to explore the location. A quick find and amazement it could be so small! Very cool cache! TFTC
Traffic was stopped for a roadworks traffic light, so jumped out to try grab this, was a quick search and no luck
A sneaky wee cache, well hidden. Got to admit I did have to go back and have a second look .
Na tuto keš jsem se těšila, ale bohužel, byla jsem na místě, hledala všude a stále mě doprovázela geoslepota, opravdu by mě zajímalo co to bylo, hodně štěstí ostatním
Looked all over for this one and ended up back at the start point
Fantastic hide, thanks so much.

Another version of caching - what fun! Has to earn a fav from us. Great start to our biking day in Omokoroa as we didn't think we would find it at first.

This one had us scratching our heads for a while, and we widened our search area when the initial spot didn't seem to have anything for us. But after several minutes of fruitless searching, we soon came back to our starting spot, and after some closer investigation, we found what we were looking for. A very clever hide! TFTC
This had us going around in circles for a while. kiwidp & buzzybb were on to something that didn't look quite right. Answer has been sent. TFTC
Logging with permission, we had to take a couple of turns at this one and blow me down it was right under our noses all along! Love it. TFTC
Very unusual hide in my opinion. Well it didn't take too long to find but what to do next is a different story.
Picked up on my weekend journey.

First approach nothing was found, so we wandered off to find another cache.
Second look also proved to be difficult. We were sure we had the right place, but couldn’t see it. Just about to leave, but one last very close inspection spotted something slightly out of place.
A very devious hide.

Thanks for this cache. I couldn’t believe that I finally had it in my hand! It took me at least half an hour to find it. I nearly gave up and walked away but something looked at me....
This took us a while to find! A train stopped and the driver was intrigued. We have permission to log this which we found last year. TFTC
Checked and updated ...cache all good to go ....please read the brief before you do this cache
Thanks have fun

A quick stroll for the car park and within a short time Mr had come up with the hide before Mrs and Little One got a look in - as a reward we let Mr remove some natural cover and wind the log back up TFTc
Another great hide from Mcwatt, took me a while to get this . No trains to get in the way today
Did 4 along this stretch in a row and loved it! Train driver looked a little worried we were standing nearby haha. Lovely changes happening around here!
Found this to be very sneaky and tricky....Was extra stressful as had 2 muggles in car who were keen to move on when it wasn't a quick find!
Needed a nudge from a PF who confirmed I was in right spot...had even touched it without realising!
Phew...many thanks .

Out for a geo cache adventure with the kids today . This was well camoflagued and and awesome hint to try to figure out. Thanks
Unable to search here as men and machines right here maintaining the railway line!
Drive past here regularly on one of the tracks but not often able to stop but today I knew I had about ten minutes to spare so jumped off my BIG geomobile and wandered over to gz with a pretty good idea where to look and sure enough there it was.

The hint led us to the right spot but we were stumped on this one for a bit. We went back to the car and read some previos logs while a train passed, and then we had a lightbulb moment. The cache was well disguised. So clever. We will go back to sign the log on this one once it has been replaced. Thanks for the creative cache .
Last day of our mini-break in Tauranga. We overnighted in Cooneys Reserve again, intending to head back into the city for some last puzzle finds, as well as picking up a bunch of much Favourited caches along the way. So of course we stopped at this one. We had pondered the hint, and had a couple of ideas as to what it might mean. But once at GZ they didn't really fit with what was there. Finally one of us checked something and immediately knew that this would be the cache. Very nicely done, so adding a Favourite point. Thanks fo the challenging hide!
#683 - Found with Taschynz. After finishing up at our work do at the Cider Factorie (great place by the way, highly recommend) We Couldn't resist coming to find these few down here. Once we had figured the clue, it was just matter of spotting it. TFTC was a great one.
2.50pm. Worked out the hint and soon found the cache. A bit difficult to extract and replace but I managed it.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
I found this last month but had to wait to log as I needed to update my account, this was a bit hard for me to undo so I had to get my nan to do it.
Cache number 3384. When I parked up I knew where the cache would be but after a search I had no luck. Back to the car then back again for another look. This time I got lucky. I originally had dismissed it. The log was damp and hard to write on. Well done. Thank you for the placement. Time to go back over the Kamais as it is now getting dark.
A clever hide. Log is a bit mushy but managed to get an f and an r onto the log. Found with rosmar. TFTC!!!
Out and about on a well overdue cache run. Very clever hide, thanks for the fun TFTC.
Very nice hide here, don't recall seeing one quite like this before!
Needs some attention as the log is full covered in rust stains and wet!!
Thanks Macwatt

2.15pm - The Squirrel and I had another cacher on board with us today and goal today was to collect as many caches in the Tauranga area as we could, including an event latter this afternoon. SLTFTC
Anthony (new cacher and nephew) and I are meeting up with SolarNZ and Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We have an interesting mission today which should result in a much needed clear out of recent Tauranga cache placements.
It took ages to track this one down. We knew where the cache should be, but our senses couldn't cope with the lack of anything cache-like. Suddenly, we came to a realisation... TFTC.

With my shift finished with yesterday and I don't have to be at my other job till late today it was a day of sleeping in and some random geocaching. And you were my choice today. My daughter cottoned on to the clue very quick and a little bit of scratching the head I made the find. Sneaky cache. While standing there two trains go by. Makes a cool spot. Driver waves as he goes past. And yes some horses today also.tftc

Had tried this one late at night and realised we were going to need our full wits about us if we were to have any chance of locating it. Breeunit was first to lay her hands on the cache and we were again impressed with the well constructed cache. TFTC

**Oh the shame of it all in having to be the first to log a DNF on this one......... in our defense it was 11pm and we had just done a whole day of caching in the Coromandel since leaving home at 5.45am and done nearly 90 caches for the day....... now it was time to go home and thought this would be a nice one to finish up on...... not to be...... just then we checked out the new cache notifications.......... a whole lot in the coromandel...... typical...... and one in Omokoroa....... hey thats 10km away....... see ya.....**
Yet again, we were amazed by your handiwork - once we found the cache that is. It took a few minutes to find and we also watched a train go by in the process. Another cleverly crafted hide with impeccable placement. Thanks once again and TFTC!
This one took more time than it should have, but less time than the last one, but we got there in the end watched or may be not watched, by a train driver. Photo attached.
Cunning little hide. Thanks Macwatt.

This was our final cache of the day - and what a tricky wee hide it turned out to be! It was indeed fortunate that we stayed focused on the correct object. Thank you for all the great caches and places that you have brought us to today - all most enjoyable.
Quiet here on a Saturday afternoon. A quick find compared to Nature's Reflection.

I use to deal with this object alot in my last job so i new something was out of place when i seen it. Happen to still have my work hi-viz on so i didn't seem too out of place. Relatively easy but would be a pretty good hind none the less. Thank-you for the find. Signed Teq.
Was baulked at a previous cache so I thought I'd try this one. Only one possibility at GZ but where? Tried one possibility but it turned out to be exactly what it appeared to be. Then saw the real thing! Great cache! TFTC.
While the kids were training nearby I went on a mission to collect a few caches this was the last one of the evening on my way back to pick them up. Parked up nearby and walked back to GZ and to my surprise I had this found in a matter of seconds first thing I checked that doesnt happen very often while finding McWatt caches. Signed the log and then back to pick up the kids. FP from me for a well camouflaged / made cache.
Another clever little b*stard I looked and looked and looked.. read one log and *facepalm*.. there it was

This is not a cache you want to look for after a night shift!! I was head scratching for quite a while - dying to go to bed yet I should have known better then to attempt a Macwatt cache on such little sleep. I spotted it in the end - well gave it a little fiddle and figured it out Another favourite here, cheers Macwatt TFTC.

Following an incredibly busy week at work and having to also work yesterday I finally managed to have a day off, so in light of that we came over this way as a chance to catch up with friends whom we hadn't seen for a long time.
Following the visit to said friends we made our way over here to grab these two. It was soon spotted being just that little out of place. Signed and retruned for the next careful hunter
thanks for the placement and the cache

Haven't seen one of these before! Luckily I spotted it pretty quickly as it's a sneaky one! All good. Tftc
Out caching with iammrwalker, kiwis69, 11hpg11 and HKCB to mission it around and about Tauranga.
Disappointed a train didn't go by haha. Definitely a tricky cache. Fantastic.

Joined forces with HKCB, 11HPG11, Kyb3r and iammrwalker for a caching splurge around Tauranga. We had an earlier than usual curfew for today's caching mission, so we set off from the Tron at 5am to maximise caching time. Great fun with lots of laughs and lots of entertaining tales as is usual on our group outings and even better to be rewarded with so many quality hides: we were most definitely very impressed by the effort made by BOP COs.
Trains & horses played to the team's strengths, although yet again today, preconceived ideas of what we were looking for here proved to be wrong - very inventive, these BOP COs, it has to be said. TFTC

Out and about with Kiwis69, 11HPG11, Kyb3r and iammrwalker for a bit of a mission over in Tauranga. With caching time limited for a few of us, a half(ish) day leave pass was given from our respective muggle partners. With a set in stone time of 2pm to be back at home to maximise caching time a 5am start was agreed on. Still we managed about 6 hours of caching time and managed to find around 35 caches throughout the morning.
We all enjoyed the day out, and I think we all agreed it was a little long between drinks. A bonus for the day was the high level of quality caches we found. A big thanks to all those CO's for making it an even more memorable day. We signed the logs as HOAC, a group name we go by from time to time.
This cache was quite neat as it was incorporates two other hobbies from our team, Kyb3r and trains, and HPG and horses! No troubles working out where we should focus our search on this hide, but it still took a few minutes to locate. Spotted something that didn't quite make much sense and a bit of a closer look and the cache revealed itself. Very well hidden.

I found this cache along with HKCB, kyb3r, Kiwi69 and 11hpg11, we signed most of the logs HOAC (Hamilton Over Achiever Club) and a couple with an abbreviation of our Geocaching handles to save on space and time. We came over to the Bay from Hamilton, leaving at 5am and getting back to the Tron at 2pm to appease our respective partners. I managed to nab about 35 geocaches on our quick trip. We had a great time, shared some unforgettable work stories and some very humorous cringe worthy innuendo. The Bay has some incredibly creative CO’s and we were really impressed with the quality and variety of hides.
Since we had a train lover and horse lover among our ranks this Geocache was bound to be a crowd pleaser. And I thought Geocaching was a nerdy hobby! Even though GZ seemed pretty obvious finding the cache still took a minute or two. We all have found caches of this variety before but none like this, well thought out, well constructed and just plain cleaver.

Out and about for a quick 'half day' of caching today with a good sized group of Hamilton cachers. We were time limited so left at the usual 5am before calling it a day at 12.30pm which meant we could be back in Hamilton by 2pm and I think we just scraped in. A good days caching none the less and managed to knock off a few great quality caches. Today we signed the logs as HOAC as a group name, which consisted of HKCB, Kiwi69, Kyber, Iammrwalker, and myself. Thanks to all the cache owners for their placements which enabled us to have a great morning in Tauranga.
This one had something for everyone... although Iammrwalker maybe still waiting for his thing. I saw horses, Kyb3r saw trains (well tracks) and HKCB spotted a cache. Very well done, we all thought we would find this one easily but this was slightly different to what we were expecting and very well done. Worthy of a fav point for sure.

We walked along from the nearby cache and had a good look at the horses as a guy drove up and parked at the gate without a fence. Luckily he got out and walked down to the railway bridge so we were able to find, sign and then roll and roll and roll up the log before he returned. I liked the hint.
Picked this clever hide up on my way home. It took more than one visit - timing was pretty key as the road can be quite busy and even this time I had a train pass!! My gps had me a few M from GZ and I was counting the wrong clue!! Finally, put my caching glasses on and thought "where would I hide it?" - and lo and behold, there it was. Great hide, this is the second clever hide within a few hundred M of road.

On a trip around the showing the bay off to some old friends from Whangarei & this cache just happened to be on the flight path. They are basically muggles but have been out with me on the odd occasion so weren't completely in the dark but it three of us searching various options for perhaps 15 mins before we narrowed it down & came up trumps. Thanks Macwatt for a clever concealment, well done.
Another dot day, another mad lunch time rush. After poking around for a few minutes, it wasn't long till I was signing the log of this well camoed cache.
Thanks macwatt for another great cache.
No trains went past while I was here.

Well done Dillron and Wobbie - I saw this come out this morning and wanted a find for the day so came out after tea to get it. I had only just arrived and another car turned up and then one more. Yay more eyes before it gets too dark. All our GPS's agreed and we searched a couple of spots. Luckily Murray Clan looked in one spot and then went back for another look. Great hide - very tricky and well done. Enjoying the effort you are putting into your caches. TFTC
its very rare for us to run into other cachers during our searchers - but today after work when we arrived - 2 other fellow cachers NZ Flossy and NZ Kites

As we arrived we spotted a familiar car, and then the owner (NZFlossy) at GZ. A couple of minutes later, just as Mrs nzk was commenting that the three of us hanging around on the roadside must be looking suspicious to the passing cars (except they were all looking where they were going), a third car arrived at GZ and the occupants called out to us how stealthy we were being (not!) - it was Clan Murray. Mrs CM was onto the cache quite quickly but Mr thought no that's not it, and we all wandered around looking at other things for a minute, until Mr CM went back and had a second look, and yes that *was* it!! Thanks Macwatt for a sneaky well-camoed hide, and well done Clan Murray. We enjoyed the impromptu geocaching meet-up!!
