Yes unfortunately pebbles in gone and the area can no longer sustain a cache.
She too will have to be replaced elsewhere

Well, we are pretty sure that this one has gone the same way as Dino and Betty. The area has been cleared. There is no stone and nowhere to hide a cache.
Not many down here this morning as I think many gone with Coast to Coast race. Was a camper an across road but nothing from them.
Doing a road trip as I have to wait for my villa to be refurbished. What better way than doing a road trip geocaching. Thanks for placing and maintaining.

Enjoying solving these little puzzles. Gracie7 +/- Mum. The West Coast would be much poorer cachewise without you both.
So glad to turn these into smiles. I do like jigsaw puzzles and these pieces are always the right way up which makes it easier. Another quick find on this solved puzzle. Nice to drive through and see some of the old buildings in this town. Thanks for the puzzle
Quick grab as very near some muggles parked up and airing all their wordly possessions. t4tc
Out for a walk this morning. A nice walk along the beach promenade doing the AdLabs and then a quick find here.

This was our first puzzle cache in New Zealand. Should have been an easy one, but it depends on constant internet connection. Not easy everywhere
But somewho we managed to solve several of your puzzles and Pebbles was the first on to be visited.
We love the Hokitika Beach and the crushing waves - it is amazing!
Thank you for the nice cache!

First find of the day - time to find all the Flintstones caches after solving the puzzles! Nabbed it when the muggle having a cigarette nearby finished up and wandered away. Nice beach views. Gracie7 + mum, when do you find time to sleep?
First cache of the day. Nearest to our hotel. It was just getting light so had the aid of a torch. I signed the log and then I replaced the cache container as it was discovered. Thanks for placing this cache and for the jigsaw puzzle.
Found during a walk around Hokitika after check-in at the hotel. I solved the jigsaw puzzle a while ago. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Sweden.
*Arrived to New Zealand and Auckland from Stockholm, Sweden via Bangkok for a two week group travel. In Auckland we toured the city, sailed in the harbor and visited Waiheke Island. Continued with bus to Rotorua via Huntly and the interesting Waitomo Caves. Outside Rotorua we visited Wai-o-tapu, the impressive and active geothermal area, and the Tamaki Maori Village. Continued by air to Wellington with a visit to the museum Te Papa and the exhibition about Gallipoli as well as the cable car up to the Botanical Garden. The next day we went by ferry to the South Island in very nice weather accompanied by dolphins/purpoises. Via the Marlborough vine district we came to Nelson were we stayed two nights. The next day we went to Abel Tasman National Park, a lovely day trip by boat and foot. Then by bus to Hokitika via Murchinson, Punakaiki (the impressive pancake rocks) and Greymouth (beer tasting at the Monteith’s brewery). The day after it started to rain on the way to Franz Josef and it rained heavily on the walk to the Franz Josef Glacier of which we saw nothing. The leap day was spent by bus to Wanaka via Lake Matheson (with a nice walk around the lake and a view of Mount Cook and Mount Tasman), Haast and Makarora. The next day we continued to Te Anau via Cromwell, Gibbston Winery and Kawarau Bridge (with bungy jumps but not me). The next day we went to Milford Sound in the Fiordland National Park. Luckily it was opened a few days earlier after heavy rains that damaged the road, so the bus traffic was restricted with convoy driving three times a day. The boat trip in the fjord was very very nice. After that we travelled via Te Anau to Queenstown, the last stop. The day after was spent sightseeing and geocaching with a last dinner at Walter Peak High Country farm with a boat trip on Lake Dunstan with TSS Earnslaw. The next morning we started the long way back to Sweden via Auckland and Bangkok. All in all a very nice group travel to a very nice country!*

Our tour of NZ is going well, even without Isla. Solved this puzzle easily and made a quick find. TFTC
After spending the morning at the Hokitika gorge then Lake Kaniere, we had a cuppa and a wee rest back at our accommodation before heading into Hokitika for lunch and more caching .
Second find in the series. A likely hiding place was soon located and yes, there was the cache. Afterwards, we had a look at the beach. TFTC.

Our first Mystery in NZ. Biwer original sends Greetings from Germany and thanks for the Cache.
Having checked into the motel we headed down to the seafront for a walk. Whilst out and about we found this cache and in a gap of muggles managed the find and replace the cache.
First of the Flintstone puzzle caches for me, last time in town 2 years ago it was pouring down so I gave it away.
A weekend away has been discussed for a while now, and me and mrs c both had the Monday off so a 3 day trip over to West Coast was the plan. We were fully hopeful of getting down to see the glaciers at Fox and Franz Joseph and were staying in Hokitika for a couple of nights. Plenty of kms driven and a few ccahes found, incl a virtual and 5 Earthcaches. Good weather all round, no sandfly bites (I know!!) and plenty of awesome sites and sights. T F T C all COs.

Pebbles is looking a little grubby from her hiding place (but the log is in good condition which is what counts!). TFTC!
Solved this one a week or so ago, hoping I'd be able to find it when in NZ. And I did
Decided needed a mini holiday before the final push for Christmas close out. The new Geotour caches gave a destination to aim for but following some planning with muggle 'MinionOne' we decided to do the tourist loop across Arthur's Pass then back home via Hasst Pass.
Day 2 was a morning spent in Greymouth then headed south and back into Otago. Main aim was to get the Geotour caches.
This one took a bit longer as well buried, bit clearer now.

Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

NLBokkie and I are going on holiday to New Zealand for 3 weeks. In Auckland we rent a camper. We start on the North island and driving to the south to make the crossing to the South island. Here we make a round and then take the boat back to the North Island. A long trip, but a very beautiful one! We do and see a lot on our way............
In addition to being a tourist, we are also going to cache along the way. The virtuals and earth caches are often on tourism places. If we have a long day of traveling, we stop for some caches.
It were been great weeks!
Last night we made all the flintstone puzzles so that they could be found today. Nice puzzles!

Berrydehamster and me are travelling in New Zealand for three weeks. We cross the country from north to south and back again by campervan, see a lot, do a lot, visit lots of places and meet a lot of people. It’s nice to be here and we have a great time.
As both of us are geocachers, we find a lot of caches on our travels. This is one of the caches we found. Thanks for your cache, gracie7 + Mum, that helped give us a wonderful time here.

We were in Hoki yesterday and came to check on the progress here and it looks like it basically finished so we were going to put Pebbles back but someone was parked here right in front of GZ on their phone. So Mum placed her back on the way to work this morning. All good to go and ready to be found again. Happy Caching
Even more landscaping going on here so we picked up a very grubby Pebbles today so she wouldnt go missing in the interim. Mum will place her back once it looks like it has finished.
Doing some caching on foot and by bike around Hokitika this morning - came to this one on the bike. I had almost given up on it and was about to post a DNF as there had been recent landscaping work here and there is now a thick layer of mulch covering the area. However on a whim at the last minute I pulled on a bit of old partially buried wood and when it came free I could see below it the stones that were covering the cache. So success after all! Signed log, TFTC.
Family (In Laws plus Sister & Brother In Law plus their kids!) holiday on the West coast (Hokitika and Westport). After a trip out to Lake Kaniere and the Hokitika gorge we regroup at our accommodation before heading out for a walk. Although a new garden cache still safe and sound and findable. Cheers!
Might need a check here - there is recent gardening etc...around this area and looks like the cache may have disappeared
On a west coast road trip with the kids and niece hkbrom94 (over from England ) showing her the best of what nz has to offer .
After dropping our gear off at our digs for the night we headed out

Day 1 of a 4 day road trip. My mission on this trip was to travel South and West and then East and North. I decided to stop for the day in Hokitika, so after finding a motel to stay in, I had time to find a few more caches before turning in for the night. I solved the Flintstones puzzles before I left home. Nice! I used to love the Flintstones when I was little. I guess they'd look pretty dated now. What no Bam Bam in the series? Lol. TFTC, Biggles.
A bit of spare time while the family wandered the town so did a big loop and picked up a few. The weather was like the photo, very nice. Cheers
What fun we have found the third of this series little Pebbles. Thanks for our entertainment gracie7 + Mum

We stopped to check our holiday park and drove to the town for groceries. We solved these Flitstone puzzles at home and decided to go for this one before shopping. Had to wait for a couple of mugglers to pass by before logging. TFTC and greetings from Finland!

On the way around the world, together with my boy friend Hloust, son Jonas_999 and our friend Standarevnice, we found this cache. I like to make a puzzle, so I was happy to make this series and we started with the taste. The others were added and together we got the coordinates of all the boxes. We found the first when it was dark, a bit away from the glowing worms. We logged the others at night. Even in the dark, the finds were quick. Thank you for the cache and I greet the greetings from the Czech Republic.
Today we made a trip from Franz Josef to Karamea via Westport, thereby visiting many new sightseeing locations and looking for caches, too. On this trip we searched, found and logged a lot of caches. The weather was dry all day long, cold in the morning but it got warmer in the afternoon. Sun was our partial compagnion the whole trip.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had other things to do than observing harmless geocachers.
The puzzle had been solved at home, already.
Thanks to gracie7 + Mum for showing us this location and for the fun we had at Pebbles Flintstone (Hokitika, West Coast). The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

Three caches in Hokitika tonight before heading into the motel, this was a quick park and grab in the neighbourhood. TFTC G7+mum, we solved these puzzles before our trip.
Today was day one of 7 on a trip around the South Island for Jo and I, and the first leg is Blenheim to Hokitika. An early start and on our road trip we targeted caches after St Arnaud. That was the desired plan, but necessitated by the fact it was still dark as we drove through there anyway. After that it was pretty much find anything on our side of the road as we drove west, but as we moved on we set goals to be in certain towns by certain times, so skipped large chunks. The weather changed from light drizzle to full on rain, which also scuppered some plans on targeted caches and left us cold and wet for most of the trip.
But all up a good day.
Jo used to live in these parts, but hasn’t been here for about 16 years; for me it has been about 13 since a trip down here. So we enjoyed the scenery, and the changes, and also the caches so credit and thanks to all the COs for maintaining these.

We left home early April and returned 21 May 2018. We toured from our home base up to a wedding in North Taranaki then carried on heading south right down through wellington and on down the west coast and back up via the eastern side of the alps some times going around in circles. Our aim was to get as many smiley faces on the puzzle caches that we had solved but of course stopping for many traditionals, multies and others as we went. some time we biked the bike trails or walked but mostly by campervan. we enjoyed the quite back country roads, many of them were metal but we just travelled along slowly going from cache to cache. Most caches were in good condition and I will remark if we thought it needs maintence etc.

We came from the south to Hokitika. It was raining so we spent the afternoon in the library to organise a few things and to solve this puzzle cache series.
In the late evening the weather cleared up so we could collect them all.
When we arrived GZ it started to rain again. Pebbles didn't care. We found her in good conditions and signed the logbook quickly.
Thanks for showing! Tftc

I'ive started my beautiful trip of the South Island in Christchurch, I've visited many beautiful locations. I've travelled via Lake Tapeko, from Dunedin to the most southern part of Bluff. I've then continued with a cruise in Milford Sound and then back to Queenstown.
From there on I've visited Wanaka and the Haast pass to the Franz Josef glacier. I went all the way up to the Abel Tasman NP. Richmond und Nelson as the sonnierst cities were on my list as well.
I've soon reached the east coast in Picton and Blenheim.
After a couple of days, I've then travelled back to Christchurch via Kaikoura.
I've spent a couple of days in Christchurch and it's surroundings.
I've visited many geological sites and have found many caches along the way.
I've travelled 3500km and have experienced so much.
Thank you to all the owners

Two Germans on our vacation in New Zealand traveling the south island from north to south. We took this nice Peppels cache, thank you for hiding.
After this morning's cyclocache riding Tufty and I decided to take it a little easier this afternoon by visiting Hokitika for a little puzzle and multicache singing off. Solved this puzzle some time ago. Nice quick sign off this afternoon. Thanks for the cache gracie7 + Mum.
After having a bit of a rest after our big bike ride (for me at least) this morning I jumped into BaldEd's cachemobile and we travelled to Bedrock (Hokitika) to locate and sign off some solved puzzles about some of the residents there with the odd multi, trad and extra puzzle thrown in the mix.
Cheers fir the cache.

Very busy here today ...cancer society had tractors and dressed up people collecting for the society .....wait my chance grabbed and signed ...all good thanks you two well done
This was as one in the series to be found. We had just parked up when lots of very colorfully decorated tractors trundled past (cancer fundraising). Everyone was focused on them when I went in for the find. Thanks for the puzzle cache Gracie7 + Mum
I'm from Norway, escaping the cold winter and travelling around New Zealand for 7 weeks, using geocaching as my tourguide. Today I drove from Franz Josef Glacier to Nelson.
I didn't really have the time to start solving puzzles on this drive, but I got very tempted when I saw this series on the map. I love jigsaw-puzzles, and this serie must be the best I've found so far. Such a great originality, with puzzle-photos of the same container you're about to pick up later. I really loved it. So, I found a Free Wifispot from Spark and started solving these puzzles on my phone. It took me almost an hour to solve all the puzzles, and another hour to find the caches afterwards. Thank you for this brilliant serie!! I'm adding a favouritepoint to the one I liked the most.
About this cache:
This one was placed in a beautiful area with good views of the beach, so I'm giving this one my favouritepoint. The cache was quickly found thanks to the good hint. Tftc

On the afternoon of day 8 of my travel though NZ I had no "group program". So I discovered Hokitiki by myself by riding the bike and looking for some caches...
The puzzles of the series of the familiy flintstone and their friends I solved late in the night. The log sheet of Peebles was not easy to sign because on my first visit a family lunched 2 meters from Peebles home. And on my second visit I had to wait until one young girl (playing with her smart phone) left the location.
Thanks for this lovely series of caches!

Another cache that proved to be but a quick walk down the beach. There were some camping muggles who were about to enjoy a Christmas drink nearby, but I sneaked behind them and got the cache out.
Another quick puzzle and TFTC!

I stuffed up in putting in the co-ordinates. Luckily I had printed off a map and put a x on the spot for this cache so with the hint I quickly found it.
A nice quick find. It would be rude not to find a few other caches in Hokitika while we are here! Cheers.
Time to head home through the mountains. Thanks to the CO for hiding these caches. Cheers.

Because we were driving lots of miles today I needed to get on my feet in the evening today, which turned a out to be very chilling in this nice town on the beautiful coastline.
All the riddles incl. the bonus I solved at home in Germany, so my town-walk could begin right after we arrived at our lovely airbnb.
I managed to sign all logs, thanks so much gracie7&mum.
Well done! With regards from Germany.

My puzzle-king solved this at home for me. On the way to the glacier I mad a break in this city. Unfortunately, I could not visit all of the round. The hides are clear, I like it like this.
Thanks for the cache says

T-Tech and I are travelling around South Island for 6 weeks
We stayed last night at Hokitika, and it sure was a tough night’s sleep. We seemed to be in a fierce storm, with heavy rain, and the wind blowing a gale, so the campervan was buffeted all night Today we decided to have a leisurely morning gathering the 7 Flintstones puzzles I had solved a few days ago.
All the caches in the series came to hand easily, and I was glad to see the appropriate figurines on each container. TFTC, gracie7 + Mum.

Over from Brisbane for a number of weeks "motorhoming" around the South Island with IolantheK [^]
Now on our way from Haast to North for a bit sticking to the coast, grabbing caches between views
Spent the night being buffeted by high winds before starting out to grab the Flintstone puzzles [^]
All were nice easy finds in just the right spots [^]

After spending the day biking the West Coast Wilderness Trail from Hokitika to Cowboy Paradise the shuttle brought us back to Hokitika. Decided to kill some time by collecting some more caches. Solved this some time ago and a quick find before dinner. TFTC
Day 3 Greymouth - Hokitiki
Day 3 Greymouth -Hokitika
After completing the card series, we made our way following a caching trail into town.
I wanted to do the Flintstones since I had done all the puzzles before leaving Australia.
We found Greymouth a great town to drivw around, a good selection of hides & containers found.
