Item has either moved or been stolen
Couldn’t find it and not in the immediate area

Found the spot, but it is either well hidden or missing. We will never be back, so logging it.
Didn’t find it two train guys came out and said they haven’t seen it for a while. Second one today in Proserpine that I haven’t found, I think someone might have gone through and stolen them all
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 102. Bowen to Proserpine. After a relaxed start,I drove down to Proserpine along a section of Bruce Highway that had road works nearly all the way. I managed two of the three I had planned for the trip and then setup camp at Proserpine. I spent the rest of the morning visiting the caches around town and out towards the airport. After lunch I went for the drive to the dam. Tomorrow will be Airlie beach.
On the way back for lunch I stopped here after having to skip it on the way out of town due to people having a picnic at GZ. This time no one was about and could circle the tree till I found it neatly tucked away.
Thanks for the cache The Flynn Stones

TFTC. A nice walk and a nice quick find. We are staying here for the night in the RV camp. A busy town. Having a nice time walking around. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley in NSW
This was our first find of the day. As we drove up, we noticed a man searching around gz. I had a giggle to myself as I approached and introduced myself. We both signed the log whilst discussing if we had any luck at the Rest and Reflect. Both having a dnf, we were relieved this one was here, the cache was full of water. Log book and other notes were wet. Somebody had left a tampon in there to soak up the water. Gross but effective. Tftc from the Sunshine Coast
Cache and log are good. I left it covered. This would make a good cache for the SideTracked series. It can be converted. TFTC The Flynn Stones.
It only took us a few seconds! Cool spot but there was a small inappropriate figure here’s a photo of where we found it ️ thanks!
Quick find with tassie expat while exploring this interesting area. We seem to stop at a lot of railway stations. Thanks for placing it. It's in good condition.
A quick find with frmen1. Had to grab from the street side to avoid detection from those at the station. All good. TFTC
Quick park and grab while travelling. Log is good, signed and replaced as found TFTC
TFTC,
Heading south after a great time attending the Townsville MEGA.

Easter Sunday. Hubby and I stayed overnight in Proserpine at the free RV site. Thankyou. Easy find today. Tftc ??
Making our way to townsville we decided to have a break and do some caching in Proserpine. Stephyy is on fire today, she was the one who spied the cache first. Tftc The Flynn Stones ????
Travelling on the way to Townsville with ilook4geo and picking up the occasional cache along the way. Many thanks go to The Flynn Stones for placing this cache which we enjoyed finding and retrieving. Log was signed and carefully replaced as found.
Northward toward Townsville for the mega and doing some caching along the way of course. Getting there soon with goingplaces2 and say thank you to The Flynn stones for putting this cache into play for us to find as we go.
A nice quick find by Stephyy at this one. Good thing too. We’re hungry and have heard about the bakery here. Time to do some taste testing!
Thanks for the cache, The Flynn Stones

TFTC. Making our way north for the Townsville Mega. We left Mackay this morning heading for our overnight stop in Bowen. A lovely day for a drive. Along the way we stopped to find the odd cache, we do not have a plan to target any.
Stopped in Proserpine to find a leg of the Adventure Lab - Mackay to Townsville. Decided to attempt a couple of caches before continuing on

Heading north for the Townsville Mega, taking 5 days and finding caches along the way. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches to show us more of your local area.
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks The Flynn Stones (F=437 H=4) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

This was another great cache that was a quick easy find. Love size of these trees. Thanks for placing this for us to find.
This is day three of the drive from Brisbane to Townsville and today Fangsoki, Crew 153 and 1MinnieMoo and I are doing the Mackay to Townsville leg. Given I've never driven this far north, everything is new and exciting, even from the backseat and between reading and writing along the way.
After a night in Mackay, and a reasonably early start, we're on the road and heading north. Despite having flown into and out of Proserpine a couple of years back, I never visited the town. Like probably 97% of all folks who use the airport, I was direct to Airlie Beach! But today, we're stopping.
Legend has it there was an Adventure Lab or something, but truth be told I've still been ignoring them. I was happy in the backseat typing away, being productive. Then we'd pulled up, not far from this geocache and at the historic train station. It would be rude to not grab a geocache in every town possible.
Despite the drizzling rain and decent wind, I hopped out with the others and wandered to GZ for a quick find. While the logbook was being signed at around 10:45, I noticed and photographed some of North Queensland's famous green ants. No bites at least! Thanks for this geocache The Flynn Stones

A 9 day roadtrip to Townsville and back to Brisbane in the Fangsoki Pajero with the usual cast of cachers.
Day 3 saw us driving past this cache while doing a nearby Adventure Lab and we stopped for a quick find.

Day 3 of our trip to Townsville for Fangsoki, Captain Terror, Crew153, and we were on our way through Prosperine from Mackay. We had to detour past here to grab the nearby Adventure Lab, so decided to grab this physical cache at the same time.
Pulling up, we trotted over for a quick find, and managed to avoid the Green Tree Ants.
Thanks for the cache The Flynn Stones.

1MinnieMoo, Captain Terror, Crew 153, and I were on our way up the coast and decided to grab a cache while in town.
We parked up nice and close and made our way to GZ. The cache was soon found. A very quiet little area today (thankfully). A good little place for a cache. TFTC The Flynn Stones

We are heading up to the Townsville mega with micaparamedic, Geoturtle37 and Papi4506 chasing as many Adventure Labs that we can along the way.
After grabbing the Mackay one yesterday we headed to Proserpine to camp for the night.
After completing the Proserpine ad lab wpt this morning we were picking up caches on our way to Charters Towers.
We pulled up here to find that we were the only ones around and started our search. Fortunately we chose the right one and it didn't take too long before we had the cache in hand. Unfortunately the green ants thought that it was their container and were not too impressed when we removed it from them and made sure that we knew about it. After a little bit of brushing and flicking we were able to add our names to the log.
To save room in the log we signed as "The Vics"
Thanks The Flynn Stones for the cache.

Mega Bound - Mackay to Townsville
Most of the focus was on the very large number of "Big Things" on this road, but we did manage to stop for a cache or two. Arrived in Townsville mid-afternoon and grabbed a few local caches while doing touristy stuff! TFTC!

Today’s plan was to make my way from Mackay and arrive in Townsville but nightfall. Caching along the way and grabbing a few important to me caches, lol. It is just a 3.5 hr drive normally however this drive will take me all day and some. I had to be ready for work in the morning so it was a day of find what I could. Some were stops to stretch the legs. I am sorry if I did not write a note below as some caches stood out and others I just do not remember. I signed the log and replaced the cache as I found it. Thanks for placing it here.

We are staying in van park in town.out chasing smiles. Installed new log zip tie bag and something for the kids.. tftc
This was my 1st geo I think I did it right I found a bullet but I left something
New to this and this is our first find, great for the kids first one, lots of goodies to inspect
TFTC, just a reminder to place cache back hidden/camouflaged as this was sitting out in the open when we found it.
The weather forecast for today was not inspiring so instead of heading out to the islands, we decided on a drive in the country to see the sights. An easy find, quickly signed and we're on our way again.

Lucky for us we did pick the right one first. It all depends on your perspective doesn’t it!
Today is moving day. Mackay to Proserpine, not a long drive at all. Only shame is that many of the caches are unavailable to us as we travel. There is a lot of road work happening which have cut a number of caches off, and a few of the others are difficult to access when you are towing a caravan. Still, we managed to find a few trads as well as completing an adventure lab, so not a complete waste geo caching wise. We’re thankful we managed to access the few we did, thanks to the CO’s who put them out.

A quick and easy find. The train station looks like it is very well-maintained! TFTC!

Walking around Proserpine looking for a cache. Our initial plan was thwarted when there was no walkway on the Proserpine River bridge and crossing without one would have been like running the gauntlet. Consequently 800m turned into about 2.5km by the time we got to this. A quick and quiet find. TFTC The Flynn Stones.
