**21,701**Apparently this one was to be today. Mr Geckoh made quick work of this one, after locating a carpark very nearby. Mrs Geckoh got dog walking duty which they both enjoyed. TFTC
Went for the obvious spot but couldn't locate. So Mrs Taylana wandered off to check other potential sites and Mr Taylana stuck with his initial instincts and came up with the goods. Thankfully it's too hot for little muggles to be out here today otherwise it would have been a lot trickier to get. TFTC
Hello there - not actually in NZ rather in USA. Looking for NZ partner for the nearby Team work cache GC5PG6V - S1 appears to be near you. Will need to recruit a cacher from Netherlands as well I understand. Sorry to take up your log space but this seemed a practical way to find a cacher nearby. Offer is for anybody interested in doing a three continent cache. Should be fun.
this was my first ever geocache and the commebts helped me find it. i dont know what to do now so i will put it back, thank you!
Well this is a cache that I obviously had forgotten to log in the past. I was heading to the area and noticed this cache and as soon as I turned into the street I knew I had already done the cache as I recognised the area and the park and gz. I was here about 2 years ago, I have no idea of the date so am logging with todays date.
Looked all over the area, was right on top of the spot on my map, didnt see anything..?
This place has grown so fast, you could shake your neighbour's hand in the morning by reaching out the window.
Nice n easy find for Mr 12

Checked on cache...it is still there but log full and slight rust on the container so swapped for a shiny new one.

Out for a long walk with the dog this morning, this cache the intended halfway point. Arrived at GZ to see a muggle sitting there taking in the view. Waited for them to vacate, swept in and made the quick grab. TFTC!
The coordinates had me about 7m away, looking in and on a much less inviting (& my searching was much more obvious to all those surrounding window eyes!).
However, thought I'd try another spot, ...& voila, the cache!
TFTC! All is well.

This evening we are going to make a journey to Pandora with a group of friends. But first lets find a few other caches before meeting up for dinner.
Late afternoon / early evening might not be the best time to come into this area. With such small sections, parking spaces are at a real premium once local residents start arriving home from work. Eventually found somewhere to park and had a bit of a walk to the park. Once we finally got there we had the proverbial Quick Easy Find. Thanks.

Working in the area so stopped inbetween jobs to grab this smiley. Luckily got a park right next to GZ. Wandered over & after checking a few likely spots, found the right spot. TFTC
Last one for the day - took a few minutes - found where Mrs TWS had all ready looked

TFTC
Looked everywhere- standing on exact location in the middle of concrete path with nothing above or below
Two of us spent 15 minutes here. Nothing other than the rubbish bin is obvious. Checked everything within ten metres but found nothing.
Trying to find somewhere to park the car was difficult so Mr TW dropped me off and drove around the block and as it was a nice quick find he was back to meet me quickly. TFTC
On a 24hr mission to Auckland with Philip.Perry and three of my kids started caching at about 3pm getting back to accommodation at 330am then up and back on the road for a xouple of hours before heading home. We decided we had three caches we had to find this mission then the rest was all about getting our numbers up so concentrated on a high cache area. Meet Sethraven just on dusk who helped us on a cache we couldnt find before she headed home so that was great. Really enjoy caching in Auckland at night no traffic and no muggles to get in our way. We only had a few DNF caches for the day which isnt to bad. Thanks to all th CO for the caches.
Had a cheeky Auckland Mission on the cards this weekend - just had to drop the family off in Pukekohe first and then meet up with Davidsonclan. We had a few caches on the list today but mainly this was just a numbers mission. A late start meant we'd be late to finish but 3am isn't too bad. There were some great finds and some grotty finds but cheers to the CO's and those that help maintain their caches. A quick find in the obvious spot but what I found really interesting was the housing density and the volume of cars parked in the neighbour hood. I don't think I'd enjoy living around here. Cheers keylev, TFTC

After dropping off my host kid in school I had some time to drove to here to find some easy Geocaches. I could find them all, most of them quick and without any problems.
This was the first one on my tour and a quick and easy find.
Thanks for hiding this one!

Well… I came **TO BE** here at this location for this cache but parking? Well.. that was **NOT TO BE**! But I did find some that couldn’t really be called legal, but I’m not going to be here long I hope. So many possible people watching you from these very close together homes. No one in the park though, so a quick find was had! Thanks keylev.
Visited here at lunchtime, as not too far from work. Great little park but quite exposed for geocaching, tried to just have a rest and not feel too conspicuous. Got a bit lucky as it was found in the first place I tried, that’s rare for me. A big ‘To Be’ for TD. Signed and rehid. Now, who was watching from behind the curtains? TFTC
So pleased it ended up being "To be". We were in the area dropping off Mr HeMaLuDy so finally signed the log here, although the junior cachers had found it previously and could take us straight to it. Found with darthcacher1 and purply.
Well.... This one had me frustrated to the brim! Why? Because where the cache was there were muggles sitting there muggles muggles everywhere! So I had to wait until sunset till they disappeared. Then I swooped in to make the grab. Thanks for the cache.
Up in Auckland to pick up some gear so nabbed some caches along the way
As the logs show, I had actually been here once before trying to grab this cache but didn't have any joy in doing so. So after reading recent logs, I decided to come and try again. However, today was really busy in this area so I actually parked a few blocks away and walked to GZ on foot. Once at GZ, and making sure that I avoided muggles in the area I began my search and soon had the cache in hand. However, when I sat down and opened the cache I was met by an amazing cockroach infestation... probably in my top three of caches that I can remember. Quite amazing given the cache location. So cockroaches banished, log book signed, and cache all nicely in its place all ready for the next finder... all while avoiding muggles in the process. So thank you keylev for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so
Frustrated to the max with caching today after an appointment in at Starship, junior cacher and myself needed to find a dot day cache, so a nice park and grab was in order, so while in the waiting room we planned a couple of caches that looked like they fit the plan.... The first one was completely surrounded by workmen (The centre of Auckland cache)... the next one there was no parking nearby as all the workers were at work hence taking the parking spots beside the play ground, and a similar story for the next 2 caches attempted near the city....
So I head back out to South Auckland and this was the first one I attempt and bang job done, parked right next to GZ so junior cacher stayed in the car and all the locals minding their own business.....
TFTC.

3.40pm - Trip to Auckland with the Squirrel and a couple of new cachers on board with us. No real plans but with one multi cache in mind. With this ticked off it was just a day of increasing our cache numbers. A good with some interesting cache hides with a couple needing needing repairs and a couple of misses. Thanks to all the cache owners for todays trip. SLTFTC
Visiting Auckland with Nerweed and Gap (of Fap and Gap)... In the city to complete a job and for cache purposes...
We decided to spend the remainder of our afternoon in the Flat Bush area. There are so many caches tucked away in this rabbit warren piece of South Auckland. We could spend a week in here, and just be scratching the surface...
Most of the caches we found today were fairly typical urban hides. Some need new logs, or complete overhauls... It's hard to target this one when the vicinity is occupied. We must have psyched the lady out, because she left as we arrived. An easier find when no one is around... TFTC.

With my uncle and Gap. There was a lady waiting at the table. We waited for her to go and we got this one. TFTC.
Thought this would be the quickest today , but I couldn't see anything here sorry ...
Was not " To Be " for me this time !

After finishing work for the day down this way it was time to spend some time caching before heading off home. Finding a parking spot was the most difficult aspect of detecting this hide. Made the short walk to GZ. Managed to execute a super quick find here. Just before some local muggles turned up to utilise the playground. Right, time to head home. Cheers for the cache placement!
In the area collecting a few caches I have missed in the past. A busy place with new, and newer houses (being built) all around. Made a gentle stroll to GZ and found in the obvious spot. Thanks for the hide
Parked up, made a short walk from the car to the most obvious location and quickly found the cache. A nice easy one thats for sure! TFTC!
We felt a bit conspicuous with all the nearby houses looking down on us so initiated stealth mode and fortunately made a quick find. Signed the log while taking a moment to sit and enjoy this nice little area. TFTC
It's.....TO BE!!! WAHOO!! Happy to pick this one up after helping move the CO into their new home (well, I was on child minding duties - so that meant keeping the kids out of the way - which is always helpful). What a cute little park. A very quick park and grab. Let the kids have a play while you sign the log.
Well, it was meant to be. The CO had finally got the keys to the house and members of Team SEAC were secondered into helping with the move, which we did so most willingly. After a day of lifting, loading and unloading, and moving things around, it was time for pizza and beer. That's when other members of the team mentioned that Mr Kiwi should go and grab the cache. It didn't take long to find in the end, but I had to walk back to the group to see who had a pen I could borrow in order to sign the log. Rookie mistake. But in my defense, I wasn't expecting to do any caching today.
TFTC keylev, and I hope you and your family have many years of happy memories in your new home.

I find it quite a novelty that the landscaper of this pretty wee park was the last one to sign.

Found with Bennett24. Glad to have a quick and easy one to get between rain showers today! TFTC
To cache or not to cache that is the question. Not it's not. Always choose to cache.
Nice new cache in a new park in a new area. TFTC.

Out with UncleSam and NewlynFam junior this afternoon, cleaning up some of the local caches that had popped up.
This was the last one we did today, as by this stage Mr NewlynFam was phoning and wondering where I was and when I was going to be home. Whoops.... time had got away, as it often does when caching!
Pulled up and parked nearby, as we speculated which one was "to be, or not to be". Cache was found very quickly. Junior NewlynFam was more interested in the playground and was disappointed that we found it so quickly.
As I write this log (late I know, whoops)... it's looking like a "to be..." but still taking ages Still have my fingers crossed for you, keylev!

Well.....it's looking "not to be" at this stage but I'm hoping things will work out for the CO and her family.
I had a quiet afternoon, so I checked to see if Newlynfam wanted to get out, so her and her little one joined me for a few hours of caching.
Didn't take us long to find this one.
Thanks for getting me out of the house.....and I hope you get into your new house soon!

Tftc. Was excited when we were the first ones to sign the log only to see that we weren't the first to log.
Had dropped Miss NZT off at the sane side of the family and was heading home when the cache releases started coming in.
I had just turned off the motorway heading for home and realised that I needed to get back on the motorway to attempt this cache.
Got some FB messages stating that there were other potential ftfers in this race so kept quiet and headed here.
Arrived and saw no other cars which could have been a good thing (I was the first here) or a bad thing (I was second and the cache had already been found)
Grabbed my torch and made my way to GZ. Quickly found the cache and opened to find a clean log PHEW
Another (FTF) for team NZTravellers.
TFTC Keylev!
Now THERE WAS anther cache released near by.... maybe JUST maybe I might sneak that one in to! Was I successful? check out GC6EB96......
