I can't believe that we decided to attack this walking trail series and other caches in the area after such a big day of riding in the heat!

Out and about with Moneydork and Locus Cache. We stayed in the same accommodation with the idea that we would tackle some of the local caches in Ballarat including the rail trail and challenge caches. This is one of the caches we targeted.

Thanks for the cache McAdies! Smile

Find# 4116
Found with Tyred n Cranky.

A day in Ballarat for a bit of shopping and to watch the Nationals bike Criterium, and the odd smiley grab.

A super quick grab. Glad it was in the shade as we could have a quick rest before heading back to the Van

Find No. 1642. Found with FUF009 at 3.40pm

A trip to Ballarat for the day to do some shopping and caching, then attend the Nationals Criterium Bicycle Event in Sturt Street. FUF009 came with us.

We had time before the race was to start to grab five caches along this trail, so off we all walked along the trail, finding each one as we went, all except for the fourth one which was a DNF.

A quick easy find and now a walk back to the van and off to the Bicycle Event we go.

Following the Christmas Breakfast-Ballarat Event, we enjoyed a morning bike ride to call at each of the Challenge caches and continued along the Yarrowee Creek Trail, to complete the loop back to our geo vehicle. We approached from the right angle and soon spotted the cache.

Our thanks to McAdies for placing this cache.

Today was one of those lovely spring days where the sun was shining and there was little breeze, a perfect day to get outside. Dropped around and picked up wozzle68 as I wanted to clear up some caches where he had a few remaining Ballarat ones left... Wink

Lovely spot for a stroll too...

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment McAdies... Big Grin

Suscoe was in Ballarat today caching with the sister.
It was a delightful day with sunshine and a mild breeze looking after us.
A long way from the snow on our last trip here.
We had a terrific time with the sister and had some laughs and enjoyable times finding caches around the town.
6th find of the day.
Thanks to the McAdies for this hide, what a quiet spot here this morning.
Only one duck paddling slowly down the creek.

A joint {FTF} with mazzymay, Gemmasistema and cherad and other's after the CITO

17-Apr-16
Just as the CITO was finishing up we heard the ping of new cache publications! We raced here with cherad, shamus1, mazzzymay, annabella06 and green team 2 who were walking back and had no clue about the new caches. Junior cherad hid the cache so we thought it was missing then the cheeky little fellow revealed it! Lol. A nice blank logbook! Thanks for the cache Smile

After the CITO event teamed up for a first to find with MazzyMay , GemmaSistema, Cherad, Green Team 2 and Shamus1 one of the young ones made quick work of the cache and strung us along for awhile. TFTC.

After the CITO event, these few caches popped up, and I decided to walk back to this one to make another find on the trail.

Just as the CITO was finishing Joined up for a joint FTF with shamus1 who had just heard the ping of a new cache, along with cherad, , gemmasistema, annabella06 and green team 2. Young Mr cherad tricked us by hiding the cache from everyone. Cheeky rabbit. Lol. A nice blank logbook! Thanks for the cache Smile

After the CITO event we were walking back up the path when we bumped into some other geocachers who informed us that some new caches we released. We were lucky enough to be on hand for a joint FTF. TFTC.

Found as a group FTF after attending a nearby event, with GemmaSistema, Shamus1, Mazzzymay, Annabella06 and Green team 2. The young member of my team, had got to theGZ first, made the find and hid it so he laughed as we all searched, thinking it had already gone missing he revealed the cache, and laughed, this is often something he does to me, and thinks it so funny to watch me search, he is a cheeky monkey. The log was soon signed and replaced. Thanks McAdies
