Out in Goulburn today with Tankengine picking up a few caches he didn’t have and of course I didn't have and also the AL that I have been looking forward to doing too.
We came and barbed our booties. But couldn’t find the cache. Thanks anyway.

Looked again this morning after talking to some people who have found the cache before. Still couldn’t find it
Parked nearby and had a short stroll around the fence to GZ for a quick find. TFTC krispystrips

I wandered backwards and forwards, my GPS struggling to settle. I began to doubt this was a small sized cache - I bet it's really a micro; a mintie tin at the biggest. Then I began to doubt the coordinates.
But finally I spotted the hide with the cache.
Don't take any notice of the doubters. Who are they ? This REALLY is a small and the coordinates are fine. TFTC krispystrips.

Out with Darkside Dan making a few finds around Goulburn after the local GC event. DSD had found this one before, but it wasn't there when I went to make the find. Thanks krispystrips
The Stumbles stopped by to collect this smiley but unfortunately one wasn't to be had......and it wasn't from not looking around either! It seems that there has been a bit of cleaning up recently as very little was left that would have matched the hint description even after expanding the search area. Might be worth the CO checking in on this one.
Today Geoturtle37 and I are caching in and around the Goulburn area. We managed to get quite a few caches done and they were all interesting in their own way. Sizes locations and ease of find were varied today . Thank you to all the CO’s that made this possible. Thank you for showcasing this lovely town, it’s views, it's architecture and it's history which is certainly fascinating and worthy of the caches dedicated to it.
I stopped by the corridor today.
It looked like some gardening work has been happening,
and many trees have been pruned
I found the cache in one of the piles of trimmed branches !! [:o]
Obviously that wasn't the correct place.
So it now resides back where it should be
Keep it well covered people so it don't get mulched !

Threatening skies overhead but I ended up having a nice post-work geocaching walk through this side of town. What a nice idea to commemorate soldiers. Although the drought has obviously had some effect, it’s nice to see how many tress are here. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
A late afternoon of caches in Goulburn.

Heading back to Sydney after visiting Canberra and stopped along the way to grab a variety of caches and this was one of them.
It's been a long time since I'd visit this area and after arriving at GZ soon had the cache in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

A couple of hours needing filling so a caching we did go!
What a nice idea for a memorial.
Not certain the placement of a cache here is totally appropriate but hey, no condemnation from me, to each their own.
Spent a few minutes checking out the plaques before beginning the search which was short.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
As we were leaving a vehicle came through the roundabout & a mobile phone to the road almost at my feet.
A little damage but the phone still worked.
Hmmm, can't get into the phone as it is password protected?
Let's hope someone rings soon …
They did, about 5 minutes later.
Dropped the phone off to them as they lived only about 2 minutes from where we were.
Nice end to the day.

We woke to a coo morning with quite a bit of fog about, but it soon cleared to a lovely autumn day just perfect for caching.
We set off on a loop in one part of town that had a variety of cache types. There were a few different types of hides and not many muggles in the areas we visited.
Goulburn is a much older town than where we live, so we enjoyed the older buildings and some of the history the place presents.
The fence caught us out at first but we soon made it to GZ where a quick find was made. A nice gesture by the students.

Quick find at GZ. This is a strange memorial without much to draw attention to its existence, so thanks for highlighting it via this cache.
Tftc. Nice to be able to have a walk and look at all the plaques whilst picking up this cache.
Got to this gz and started reading the plagues. Sad to see so many names and to think they would of been so young too. Got to gz and made a quick find tftc
In the area for an event and spending the day visiting some new places and enjoying the scenery. TFTC

After wandering in through the gate and reading some of the names in this Remembrance corridor it was a simple cache to find when reaching just the right person. Thank you to krispystrips for placing this cache to remind us of the sacrifice that so many have made and from which we benefit now.
The hint was a good one and the coords were good too. makes for a quick find. TFTC
Wow interesting spot, we probably didn't pick the right time as school was coming out but we managed it. TFTC
Quickly spotted the hide - next step was to retrieve and sign while school is coming out. A great memorial to the soldiers. Thanks krispystrips.
Long weekend. I better time to go caching. I drove down from Greystanes on Friday afternoon so I could get an early start on my caching day. As I start to log them I have no idea how many caches I got today my target was 75 on my own.
Today did have a lot of first for me.
Saw my first geo snake which slithered away as I approached. I have a really fear of snake so was shaken for a while.
I saw my first beware of funnel web spider sign and then saw 2 on the cache.
I traveled 606km from the time I left home and then got home again tonight.
Thanks to all the geocachers whose caches I find today. If it was. It for you guys I would not have had a fantastic day. Seen some amazing and not so amazing sights.
Thanks heaps.

Found on a quick impromptu geo afternoon with nacki22 and her muggle mum. Once we found the gate in nacki22 soon made the find. What a lovely rememberance idea.
So what started out as 'let's meet up and have coffee' with Halcyon123 turned into 'why don't we grab a few caches?' Dragged my MuggleMum along and grabbed 10. Also had 1 dnf and 1 dnb.
Park, hunt and grab. Lovely memorial from MHS. Had a little bit of tree bounce, but soon got there by looking around likely spots. TFTC

**# 16666** Found on the start of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Easter Monday in Goulburn and a day of driving around town again.
And another nice sunny day with not many muggles around.
Mostly good quick finds today for my last day here on this trip.
Thanks for the cache krispystrips,

A caching trip to-day, Bungendore, Tarago Goulburn and return to Canberra via Lake George. Loved the woodlands. TFTC
We are heading to South Australia before heading to the event in Alice Springs. Today we teamed up with Di and Bill from the team DiMorgan and traversed many of the streets of this lovely town to find caches. This was one we were able to find. Thanks to krispystrips for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Goulburn Day 2.
We have set up camp at the VC rest stop. Caching with Liz and Bruce again today.
Today we were more in the town area. We had a nice tiki tour of the town on our caching tour.
A good variety of caches & locations visited.
It was Bruce who entered the corridor to track down this cache. A nice way to remember our soldiers

In town to meet up with the NSW folks during the Goulburn invasion and attempting to find as many of these newish geocaches in this fine town, found with Tealby.

TikvaNZ and I decided to head to the NSW caching event in Goulburn today via Gunning! We found all but one cache we looked for, but missed a few more in Gunning due to high muggle activity (8am on a Sunday)! After the event, we found a few more in Goulburn before heading down the Hume home. It was a great day grabbing caches with TikvaNZ and thanks to all the COs
36th for the day and a quick find on our way out of Goulburn. Nice to see this little stand of the memorial route - shame it was not better looked after though. TFTC

Was keeping my eyes peeled for spider sightings here but no bites. Found this one twice as Team Canary arrived.
We met up with Skyebomonkeytown here for day two of the Invasion. Nice and quick here.

Find #14 of 3656 at 11:17:00 AM on my Goulburn Invasion day out with mtrax - not my biggest one day total, but it was close, and seeing that I only found 68 caches in total for the whole of 2016 it is pretty impressive given my recent form! Mtrax braved the barbed wire for me to find this one.
TFTC krispystrips - we had a great day out.

6070 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1425 on a tour of some of the out of the way locations of Goulburn. Starting to warm up again so we had slowed down and were just cruising. Thank you for the invitation to visit here. Spent a bit of time reading about the heroes of this district. SL Tnx krispystrips. The spider was well placed.
I laughed at the fake spider in the cache, calmly removing it, but when i lifted the log out of the cache, a Hunsman Spider ran out! scared the life out of me TFTC!
Catching up with logging for the end of year. Found this one on a day-trip to Goulburn toward the end of November. TFTC.
Wow what a great weekend of caching Happy Uke and I had ahead of us. But first it was off the great city of Goulburn for a gathering of the chosen.
A special thanks for taking us to this place. I took some time to look at some of the markers. Such a diverse range of service and locations. I am lost for words trying to visualise so many names of young men and women lost in in the prime of their lives who all must have had families, friends, lovers, hopes and dreams.
I know we should not dwell overly on the departed but neither should we push them from our minds altogether either. Even those we may have no direct conection with.
Thanks!

Finalf29 and I had a fantastic three day holiday caching, bringing in the New Year, meeting up with old friends and making new ones. We started off in Goulburn for the event today and to grab some caches. We managed 8 before the event, but after picking up AngelG27 we only found 4 before we succumbed to the heat and headed off to Canberra.
This was my fifth for the day. Finalf29 happen to park right near a hole in the fence, even though there is a perfectly good gate further down, for easy access. Didn't take long to find, but we spent a bit of time reading the memorials. What a wonderful memorial. Thanks for bring us here.

We didn't know this corridor was surrounded by a fence, so we pulled up right close to the cache. Oh well the fence was quickly scaled and I started searching.
I was a bit confused because there was literally nowhere you could hide a small cache at this gz. I was walking around scratching my head wondering how a small cache would be concealed.
Eventually I just accidentally stumbled across it, very obvious once you see it
Thanks!
