### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as one that may need attention. Perhaps it is time for the CO to check on this one please.
I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Your prompt attention to logs that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers. It is generally accepted that 3 consecutive DNF's is reason enough to check, see here: [Owner is responsible for visits to the physical location,](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance )
Please respond to this situation by **28th October** to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and indicating a date when you believe the situation will be resolved.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

No luck and as it's 6mths since a find and lots of DNFs CO needs to check it's still there
We came to this park to try for this cache, after finding the other one nearby. Looked around our indicated GZ for several minutes with no luck. Lots of rubbish, but no cache for us. Add us to the DNF list. We're not doing so well on this series. Our thanks anyway to buzzsmc.
Definitely in need of a CITO! Filthy here. Being autumn and having all the leaves on the ground might not be helping either. No joy for us here.
Pretty sure I was in the right place, but at the time, bending was optional, so couldn't complete the mission. Will come back with flexible kiddies
My second attempt at this one and still no luck. This would be the perfect venue for a CITO in April for a souvenir.

Last cache for the day. By the end of this search my coat was wet. My towel was wet and I was soaked. Thanks goodness for a heater and air conditioning for the screen.

This area was not too busy this am and so we had time to have a good search and soon came up with the well camoed cache - like the colour of the cache container, too. Logbook signed and returned to it good hiding place making sure it was was well covered with natural material. Pity about the rubbish in the area - we did place some of it in the rubbish bin nearby - bin was nearly full!

Passed through this district, as we made our way to the Meet & Greet in Inverleigh. We were about to give up on this one as we felt we had looked in all possible spots, including some pretty trashy parts. Re-reading logs from previous finders, gave us renewed hope that we could stay fairly close to the edge, finally P-P sid the magic words "I've got it!" Still a lot of Districts to visit.
Our thanks to buzzsmc for placing this cache.

Had to get a cache in Victoria before heading to the northern hemisphere for a white Xmas. Close to MA's place so happy to get before a last minute stop for pre Xmas breakie. GZ is fine and it's not far off the tarmac. TFTC
We managed a park close to the gz and spread out to search for this one, unfortunately the area has been well searched in the past and the garden is a little trampled and certainly in need of a CITO. After a few minutes of searching around with no luck I spotted something and sure enough the container was soon in hand, thanks buzzsmc for the hide, note for fellow cachers no need to go trampling the garden for this one.
In Geelong for the Christmas Smorgasbord Events and some caching with Happy pants, Happy Feet 1 & Omegaman 1971. We signed logs as DRAG Team.
Unfortunately the GZ area was quite unsightly with trampled garden and rubbish everywhere. After a bit of a search, Happy pants made the find. There is no need to go through the garden towards the fence. Thanks buzzmc, this was my second in the series which I hope to complete one day.

Here to attend the Christmas events with Happy pants, omegaman1971 and Yoshi Warriors, signing as DRAG Team. This took a bit to find, with the nearby barking dog, the trampled garden and rubbish everywhere, we were pleased when pants made the victory call. Please to not have to come back to get this one.
Thanks buzzsmc for putting on the event.

Briefly passing through Geelong today, I was hoping this would be a nice quick find. It was not to be! There was so much junk and rubbish and I spent way more time than I had in my schedule but no luck for me. A good spot for a CITO.
Finally get to complete the series. The last time I was here I felt very uncomfortable as it was a sunny day and curious parents. Took the opportunity to grab it under the cover of darkness and rain. Signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Buzzsmc

Having found this cache previously, but forgetting to take note of the number in it,i decided to revisit this cache and do a little bit of cito, there's still more rubbish but it looks a bit better.
Second go at this cache for MaggieDot and I, but much more successful than the last time. TFTC
Out and about with AutumnTree today - came for a second look at this one and AutumnTree spotted it quite quickly! Last time we must have gone round and round the GZ
TFTC!
TFTC!
Found this one today....rubbish and glass everywhere....trampled bushes...yeah. Thanks for bringing me here? : /
Easy find once we read past logs. Was in the wrong part of garden initially. Poor bush though. Thanks
SueHut and I doing Monday Night Date Night... with SueHut on 497. Wait... "ding"... 498. I don't know about her, but I'm excited. This cache is definitely 63% easier in daylight. Thanks heaps, buzzsmc!
Ah, the nostalgia of Sparrows Park. On this very spot was a hall owned by the Geelong West Pedal Club, late 1960s. Met my wife here and attended many a dance in the hall, now demolished. The site was still lucky for me, cos l found a $20 note whilst searching. We had ignored the geopath and so it took a while before geowife was successful. Never thought 50 years later we would be back, geocaching. Thanks.
Time for AutumnTree and I to attempt this series! This was the first one we went looking for and unfortunately we had no luck. Found lots and lots of rubbish and AutumnTree stepped in something truly unpleasant so we abandoned our search. Hoping for improved luck next time!
Gave up quickly due to the amount of rubbish throughout the bushes. Not worth the risk. Maybe a new placement would be a good idea.
Out with a friend on a cold afternoon looking for a cache in the area. Well hidden. TFTC.

Out and about on a cold winter's day, looking for some quick finds betrween appointments. With limited time we couldn't make a quick find so we moved on.
Thanks anyway to buzzsmc for bringing us to this location.

The second cache for the Sunday night hunt, and the second DFC. That's 0 from 3 for the Hunger Games series. I'm not developing a complex about them
A quick grab while it was quiet at the park. The cache was under a fair bit of camo, but fortunately not under the bush that was looking a bit worse for wear. The neighbour's dog was very interested in what was going on, but we were out of there before it got too worked up. TFTC
Tonight after I got home from work and still needing a cache for the day miss 10 and I ventured down to District 2 to spread the word of the good work of our new president commander buzzsmc. We have already been to the Capitol and were the first to see him as the demise of the former president Geo-Snow was completed. We were lucky enough to receive a special buzzsmc pathtag for our help in the Capitol during the rebellion.
Mum of the Sims_family had already visited District 2 before but time and bugs stopped her from completing the mission of spreading the good word of the success of the rebellion.
Tonight under the cover of darkness we thought we would or should have a clear and empty car park at GZ. How wrong we were, the car park was full with cars. Geelong West brass band was practicing in the nearby hall but GZ luckily free from any muggle activity. But did have some music during our search. They are a really quite good to listen to.
A search of the area and miss 10 came up with the find. We sat in the comfort of the car stamped and dated the log and returned the container to its original location. We now return to I our home in District 13 but still have a couple of Districts to visit in the coming days and months.
Thank you president buzzsmc for opportunity to spread your word, another smiley and the cache

GZ area looks like a bomb site. How this has happened is anyone's guess. Hopefully it wasn't geocachers. TFTCSL
Out to Gordon Ave early and after having a new much larger battery added to the White Beast it was time for a little caching, and this guy was on top of my list.
A few years ago at this very location a large group of cachers were involved as onlookers to a tragic occurrence at the hall and a number of us ended up in court to give evidence of what we witnessed that night.
The sad part is that a person died that night who should be alive today. Well that's another story, back to today and yes this area looks as though a herd of elephants has run through the garden beds.
The container was visible so an easy find for the ageing bushfire today.
One down a few more to go today.
Thanks buzzsmc for placing this guy, so with the number noted it was time to head off to the next on the list.

Took Aaliyah to Sparrow Park and we found this cache. She seemed a little disappointed in the lack of swag, so I gave her the BMW M5 by Sanet_Alacant TB to drop off. Also left a geonickel, SL, TFTC!
no luck for me today even had a paf confirm l was in the right area but today was just not my day

Dykstra crew first find and Angel boys found it. Coordinates were spot on hard to find a monster the plastic bags.
Beautiful afternoon. I used my car as cover. This cache is easy to spot... from one angle only... otherwise... good luck. Thanks for putting this series out.
Suscoe was out on an afternoon caching trip today in pleasant sunshine and a few clouds.
Unbelievable late Autumn weather really, feels like spring time.
With days like today it makes you wonder what is going on with the climate!!!!!!
All quiet in the car park here today.
We remember the unfortunate events which happened here many years ago.
All good with the cache today.
Another spot with too much rubbish dumped by the thoughtless ones in our world.
Thanks to buzzmc for this hide and series.

Quick find on a quiet day, just a few mums and kids over in the playground. Some of these hides require cachers to bring a rubbish bag to clean up some of the mess that accumulates in these areas. But fortunately no weapons to report. TFTC
On such a windy day i wanted to find district 2 as i found district 1 yesterday. i left work at 2pm and it started raining that would be right i thought so i drove down to sparrow park. The only good thing about it being windy and raining is no kids around playing so i was safe from muggles searched high, searched low back and forth no luck after help from the CO i had the cache in hand i walked past it that many times and with it out in the open i don't know how i missed it. I blame the weather LOL. log signed clue received and off up the road to catch up with a fellow cacher
Closest we've been to a F2F! Tracking some caches on our way home from the airport! Another find by the McPhail family
I've got memories of this park from 2013 - it's where a mob of angry neighbours came out and wanted to lynch me because I was too close to THEIR playground.
I was about to leave here logging a DNF today when DAB arrived and immediately made the find. Great work, David, and thanks for saving me from yet another DNF!
TFTC, buzzsmc. And hopefully these pitchfork wielding locals will eventually get the message that childless people are entitled to use these public parks too.

Found this newby on the way home from a day in town, thought we'd drop off lissi Lego lady great hide, pretty much muggle free for us too TFTC
JFTF WooHoo !!!
I had just got home and was proceeding to log a cache, when my phone started going ballistic. I checked the e-mails and was pleasantly surprised to see a new series of caches had been released !! I'm normally not a fan of the FTF hunt, but if they are close enough I will give it a go. After finding 2 blank log books, I decided to try for just one more. Arrived at GZ to find a couple of cars very close by. Surely one of these belongs to cacher. Yep I was right, hello Pacman !! Luckily for me, he had no luck with the hide, so we joined forces. In no time at all the hide revealed itself and yep, you guessed it....another blank log book. This was my third FTF ( glad to share the JFTF with a Geelong legend !! ) in the series and fourth for the day !! What a great start to the day. Now for some breakfast before I collapse. An automatic fave point for a FTF !! TFTC buzzsmc

Using the cover of darkness tonight in the company of DAB we managed to cover from District 3 to District 2 in a reasonable time gathering the necessary intel needed to regain entry to The Capitol. This hide wasn't in the same spot as DAB had found earlier in the day so it wasn't quite cut and dried as we hoped, but eventually the cache was revealed with the torches and we added our name to the log.
Thanks buzzsmc for the hide and the series.
