Because of the pandemic, many caches became
unmanageable in the time
needed to race out to them and I have not been able to
justify the time to keep this cache going.
I know you may be sad that this cache,
like many of it’s partners is going, but
sometimes it is an old cache that makes way for a new one.
Until next we meet on the caching trail, have an
extra special time caching. KD.

Lucky I’d seen one like it recently, other wise I don’t think I would have found it!
Quick find on our walk with steak_286. This one was good as a bit off the main track so fewer muggles. TFTC
We needed the clue on this one, but with the clue an easy find. This is a beautiful area, thanks for showing it to me, kangadrew72
Found this one on the ground so placed it back in the spot I assumed it was meant to be given the hint.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Find # 1075
Out for some fresh air today and to finally finish off this series as best I could for the day.
A sneaky hide this one, especially given the area. Would have struggled without the hint.
Thanks to kangadrew72 for the cache and the fun.

Second time lucky. Glad we persisted. Found with fatfungi, yellowsneakers and lizzpizz_1234
Out again on a mission to gain as many caches as we can while merkinofloki is on holidays and so we spied this series for a good chunk of finds and some much needed laughs and catchup time :3
A dirty spotto
A dirty spotto
Needed to get some steps up so decided to go out and finish this trail from a previous trip. There were some pockets of sunshine throughout the afternoon which added to the walk.
A tricky hide which was not what I expected from the trail. I had been lulled into a blinkered view of what to expect! With the hint in hand I got muddy and found the cache.
Thanks kangadrew72 for the cache and for the entire trail, one which I would not have known about without this series..

A tricky find for a nano. Phone torch helped locate it. Found yesterday with chunkymolar and geodogs TFTC!
This was a bit difficult to get to for my old bones. Thank goodness we were caching with Hergab69 who is a tad younger. tftc
Out with Astrobef and our geohubbies for a ride and a bit of caching. Not sure we would have found this one without the hint. TFTC
Back for a second try and so much easier with no muggles around . I love a crisp new log. TFTC
Even after the hint, no find. Second Dnf in a row after a good run today. Such is life
cache was replaced this morn in ng so all good to go. now is bison on joist. please put back properly
Although there was a hint, this one still confused me, will have to come back and find this one.
This one took longer than it should have. But Friday night when it is quiet is a good time. When I retrieved I only got half! But managed to find the lid there as well and made sure it was nice and tight when it went back. Tftc
Pleased to be able to get back into caching in the last week or so after a 110 day streak of no activity, I did this cache and all those in the OCRP series over the course of three thoroughly enjoyable caching walks. I initially did this trail on a walk from Booroondarra park to Fairfield Boathouse and back at the end of October, but I was at the tail end of a 28 day step challenge then, so more interested in steps than caches. I ignored the series then and only later realised how many caches I had walked past that day!
This time I again started at Booroondarra Park, so did the series in reverse order. Given all the caches in this series and the fact that I am catching up on logs a few days and lots more caches later, these logs will be pretty generic - sorry about that! I will add in details where I remember them, especially for those at the end of the series where the hides got trickier.
Thanks for putting all these out and looking after them. For all of them - TFTC

Out today on a glorious day to grab the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. As I approached the area I could see a couple of boys sitting fairly close to GZ. I walked further along the trail, hoping they would leave, but they didn't. On my return, I saw that there was an alternate patch to GZ which would avoid the boys, so I was able to make it to GZ.
I used the clue and tried to feel and look for the cache without luck. I then wondered if I had included something in the count that I shouldn't, so moved on to the next one and quickly found it. So to anyone looking for this cache and using the clue, don't include the ...... at the start of the bridge in your count.
My thanks to kangadrew72 for the cache.

That was a team effort. Thanks to @A2986 for the cache. We were looking at the wrong spot.
Rolled around in a lot of dirt. Put my hand on a lot of spiders but no luck.
After coming a second time and a very specific but helpful hint I finally found it! Luckily quarantine restrictions have eased off so I thought it was a perfect day to go hunting while the weather is nice. TFTC!
We were doing brilliantly until we got to this one. Even with some very dedicated crawling about, no luck with the find today. Maybe next time!
Got down on my hands and knees, used the reverse camera, googled “joist”. I am defeated! TFTC.
This one is great.... found clue essential to finding it.. Takes commitment and creativity to track it down
Didn't really want to put my hand in there but wasn't pretty certain where it was
Not sure if just me but the GPS location of the cache seemed to be a bit off. Found with the help of the clue which tells you directly where it is, although you will still have to look very hard (and maybe be a bit brave with where you put your hand)!
While I was getting down and dirty, 'Frogsrule Snr.' spotted it from a much more civilized vantage point. That is a sneaky one.
Thanks kangadrew72.
Chiefton!!!
Thanks kangadrew72.
Chiefton!!!
Also no luck. The DNF's now start to happen more than I have wanted. Still blaming it to the fact that everything is now soaking wet after the rain
Have flown down to Melbourne from Sydney for a 2 week training course at the Melbourne Tullamarine Airport Air Traffic Control Centre, but my main interest will be in collecting as many Victorian (VK3 in HAM radio terms) caches as possible during my free time away from the workplace. My primary caching target areas will be the Woodlands Historic Park (with it’s 100 plus caches), the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, the Outer Circle Railway Trail, the Donaldson’s Creek Trail, the Ruffey Creek Trail, Eltham (Diamond Valley Railway), and the suburbs surrounding my Essendon apartment. This was the 28th of 50 finds for the day, and the 196th of 242 finds for the trip.
With only one weekend available to me for private activities (between the two weeks of training) I planned to make the most of it with some serious caching activities lined up for both days. Today (Sunday) I was off to Eltham to visit the Diamond Valley Miniature Railway, where a work colleague was rostered on for train duties, and to do some of the cache trails that lay along my intended route.
This was the next one I came to along the trail, and was by far the hardest one to find. Spent quite some time searching the structure before taking a look at the hint, and then it still took some careful checking to eventually come up with the goods. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Some nice little railway style white picket fences started to appear near here. TFTC kangadrew72.

I’m sure it’s there, but after 45 mins, I had to give up. Perhaps looking at night isn’t the best idea. On the bright side, no muggles about to interrupt my search. I persisted, but alas, no find. Another time perhaps...
Dagnabbit. Stolen again replaced with a nano. Hopefully will not be as noticed. PLEASE replace as found...
Gotta start somewhere.
No better place than the start.
We got to17 before our first DNF.
That one could be there still but definitely beat us.
A couple to go for next time around. Geohound just over it. Ha.
Thanks for the cache grab.

Couldn't turn this one up even after taking need of the hint, a nearby work crew didn't help matters
Walking the OCRP trail in reverse order (with milljrh). We had two stabs at this one, there and back on our journey. We crawled all over the place we thought it must be, without success. There were plenty of possible hidey holes, but we obviously missed something. Twice. Gah! Maybe we'll come back and find it when we do the second half of the trail.
Gave up... 11 March 2019 4:49 pm
Decided to take advantage of the long weekend and go for a very stop-start bike ride. Given that we live very close to the end of this power trail, and it's been active for over two and a half years, I figured it was about time to share the love. Took the geoniors along for a ride as well, although I'm not sure exactly how helpful they were! That said, both Mr 12 and Mr 10 did chip in with a find out two each.
Unfortunately we didn't find this one before a large group of muggles arrived at the nearby courts. I suspect this may take a lone effort without the kids.
Thanks to kangadrew72 for the cache and the fun.

As per previous logs I finally found this sneaky well hidden cache after 2 attempts and a lot of persistence. Extremely well done. All is in good condition. TFTC.
I was heading over to this side of town to complete this OCRP series that I started a couple of weeks ago and to also attend an event in Dandenong.
I left a bit early so I could hopefully finish this series and to beat the weather.
A few people out and about getting their morning excersise.
Continuing my walk along the trail and this trail has an abundance of little parks and play areas along it.
GPS bounced around abit here and I must admit I checked quiet a few spots till this sneaky and well hidden cache was in my hands.
Thanks kangadrew72 TFTC TFTS.
