After parking up in the Coolamon caravan park I left Peas&CarrotsForever to have a cuppa while I chased the last sunlight, a couple of new LGAs and find some caches. After finally finding a way in, I followed the dirt tracks, back tracked a couple of times, moved a few decent size branches of the track until I got to a fallen tree across the track! It was on foot from there! I left the Ute running with the headlights on so I could find my way back . On top of the dam I was spotted by a couple of roos who were having a sunset drink, I stopped for a couple of photos but the light was running out. I soon came to GZ and quickly found the cache in excellent order. I signed, replaced and headed back to my idling ute, then retraced my freshly laid tracks back to the road.TFTC 3InOneKeep smiling
Out exploring the district when this cache caught our eye. We had quite the adventure getting here, lots of kangaroos and rabbits. When we got to GZ we found what was the very sorry remains of what we figured was the cache. Having a suitable replacement cache on board, we have replaced the container. Tftc. So glad it brought us out here.
Searched and searched! Nothing today, but it was a great location. Will try another day.
Up to a nearby property for work so a quick diversion on the way home as I had the time. The track in was pretty muddy so glad I had a 4WD (which is why I haven’t claimed this one before as I drive this way fairly frequently). Arrived at the strange location and quickly found the cache. Interesting Swag contained but log signed and replaced as found.

Pro tip: don’t go alone... not for the faint hearted! Very eerie!
Awesome little venture deep into the scrub!
So much history here... worth the drive!
There was a tree fallen over the road so had to go ‘4wd’ for a moment.
TFTC!
Would be my favourite for the day!

Interesting area hidden away in the depths of the forest here
The dam is holding plenty of water,
and in this dry area there are patches of green
I didn't see many traces of a picinic area,
but there are two rubbish bins here ??
Strangely they are both empty of rubbish ?? [:o]
Maybe somebody is actually emptying them occasionally between the redneck visits ??
Who knows ??
A quick cache find after a short stroll
TFTC in a surprising spot !! [^]

An easy one to find access to and to find, pity it cost me a tyre with a 6cm hole punched in by something in the forest. Changed the instantly flat tyre for the spare and we were on our way again.
Drove in here for lunch stop. And this cache .

We couldn't find our way in despite doing a lap so we gave up and continued on to the next one.

Went out to look for the cache today, the only thing that i could find strangely enough. right at the exact long/lat was.. a pile of faeces and toilet paper.. not sure if this is some type of joke or if someone is just messing with the cache.. i know i was prob off on the location it's just a bit funny that the pile of xxxx was at the exact long/lat... Possibly needs Maintenance?
Also, the roads are still quite flooded so access at the moment is along hadrills lane/yarranjerry forest road, past forest turnoff then turn right down dirt track into forest, follow fenceline along till you hit a flooded area, then get out and walk 500m go slow on leaving dirt road back to main road as vehicles slide and can hit fence post.

This was an interesting cache to say the least
Batteries decided to go flat just after entering the forest
So looked at the phone to see if I had service & you guessed it nothing!!!!
So had to keep turning GPS on every time it turned off for the next 2.4K's
But finally found the Dam & a short walk to GZ for an easy find

5431 FTF by baby&Mrs gopher at 1425. Was doing a bit of research and noticed that A swamp that time forgot had yet to be found. Back tracked a bit down the road and turned onto a track that showed us in from the south. Once we were on the tar the area became familiar. Have relatives just down from there. Drove just on 3 k's through the forest. Once we arrived near gz we were greeted by hundreds of White-browed Woodswallows soaring above the tree tops. After some time baby went for a stroll to make the find. SL Tnx 3InOne
