Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a few nights in Moss Vale, today we headed over to Berrima and surrounds. What a fantastic old building. So impressed with the history of this region.TFTC 154 Crows
Slowly making my way to the Canberra mega. The grounds seem to be still well used. TFTC!!
Found this cache to add to the count. Came along with goingplaces2 and replaced everything after signing the log. TFTC.
Have had a lot of fun hunting caches together with ilook4geo while on a short trip from home. All found logs had both names noted on them before all was returned to place. Many thanks go to AsTheCrowsFly for placing this cache.
DNF'd this one 6 years ago. App was much better this time in terms of GZ and I found it quite quickly. TFTC
When we got to GZ we found a location that made perfect sense with the hint - but when we got there the cupboard was bare. Thanks anyway

There are moments in my geocaching journey when I need to reflect on how far I have come and how many caches I have actually found. Today was one of those days and this was one of those caches.
The kids and I set out to find this one. We searched and searched the area and we were not having much luck. We were about to give up when all of a sudden the clue made sense. I headed straight for it and my son, clueing in to what I was doing bypassed me to get there first to make the find. We signed the log and replaced everything as found.

I looked at this from 20m away and the ugly I haven’t done a cache like that for a long time and sure enough it was. Favourite. Tftc
Headed to Bundanoon from Sydney for a meeting and stopped on Sutton Forest for a leg stretch. It would have been fun to go to this little school. Thanks for the history. A cleverly installed geocache. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek

Found with sebass19 on a huge day of caching in the Southern Highlights; all up, 68 finds for me today, not bad considering the heat! Parked right next to the school and wandered around the corner for a quick find with the hint. Awesome take on this type of hide, very cool! And a very cool historic location. TFTC 154 Crows!

Parked nearby and Mrs SKI was right onto this one.
It was time to move on from Goulburn today, but only a short distance to Mossvale.
We did the usual however and stopped to pick up a number of caches along the way, some with short diversions needed.
We also did one waypoint of and Adventure Lab and fully completed another en route. This afternoon we did some further caching as we looked round town. A lot were quite wet, but as Gippslanders from Victoria we understand that is what happens when you have weather like we have had.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache opted-out user.

Parked on the side of the road, and walked up to the cache. A muggle in his car was sitting nearby, but he seemed preoccupied with his mobile phone.
Ms Atalanta and I took a few days off to celebrate our wedding anniversary and while away, took ourselves caching.
This was the last of the day and had us stumped for a while until we reflected on the clue.
Thanks for placing the cache.

After a little thought cache found and logged, with mumma roo closing the gate after baby roo had completed their day at school.
Thank you for the good hint, as it took a little force to remove, and without the hint I might have been reluctant to put pressure on it. Log is soaked and all my pen managed were furrows in the paper, without leaving any ink. Needs a new log. TFTC AsTheCrowsFly'.

Found at 12:08 PM GAFF1.
Interesting history, but what is the building used for now? Couldn't work it out from the signs.
While searching for the cache as suspicion arose around a particular item, but after fiddling with it (I didn't want to break anything) it was deemed to be genuine. However on returning to it and thinking - it's gotta be that - the nicely concealed cache was discovered.
Thanks AsTheCrowsFly'.

On our way to the Oz Geomuster 2019 - The Gong! We left early on Friday morning, traveling along the Hume all the way to Wollongong. We found a few caches, here and there, along the trip to break up the drive.
We were getting tired now - so we started to find more and more caches. Being a little ways from home, they were more frequent so we skipped some - we'd never get to Wollongong at this pace! Now we were headed for the new virtual cache in Bowral... Thanks for the cache 154 Crows.

Chooo ooo - found today with the wonderful company of dty73, Joolay and Kittykatch! Today we planned to head out to the Mittagong/Bowral area, and collect a few caches. It was an earlyish start, and we were on the highway well and truly by 8.30am. A neat hide here - I hope you didn't drill that hole , thanks 154 Crows.
Today was a great day out with awesome friends and some great caches. Tankengine, Joolay, Kittykatch and I planned a day of caching up north from home in a few of the smaller towns. We started at 8:30am and were home by 7:30pm. We had so much fun finding caches, seeing the sights, laughing and exploring. Thanks guys for a great day out and lots of laughs.

By this time on a Saturday morning,
the roads had become quite busy !! [:o]
So I parked the geomobile near a nearby house with a dog that was annoyed with me doing so,
and went for a stroll
I could still hear the dog barking when I reached GZ outside what must be the olde skool house.
Here I soon tracked down this well disguised cache

After a busy December / January, we decided a trip to the highlands was in order. So after an early start, with Rapidlywild doing the driving honours we headed up the highway. A bit of rain made it quite pleasant, and the sun brought a bit of humidity, but it was a great day. We grabbed a couple of the trails, and was surprised on containers, some took a bit longer to locate than others. Thanks RW for a great day, and thanks to all the CO for the placements, we enjoyed collecting them.

First big caching trip out with both the FFLL ladies for 2019 and it was an awesome day we made plans to head up into the Southern Highlands to attack some caches up there. Some I had already been too, others were new. All up a 15 odd hour day with the ladies, and a fun filled tiki tour.

#8740 - 14:50; I had been to a meeting in Jamberoo and took the chance to grab a few caches on the way back up the hill and towards the highway as I headed for home. Parked across the road and made my way over for a quick find and sign and was soon on my way again. TFTC 154 Crows
An early start from Port Macquarie on our way to Melbourne. Stopping at Berrima for a couple of days down by the river side. After a rest we did a tour to the south of town. We passed some fantastic countryside, many large & prosperous properties. Really enjoyed our drive in the area. Hubby said the area reminded him of NZ

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well designed and hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 154 Crows for the cache.
All caches were found sometime between 5:49am Friday 2nd and 6:28pm Sunday 4th November.
I’ve been invited to attend a special event in Wollongong on the Saturday, well why not make it a whole weekend away with some caching to go along with it. About a month ago I started looking at caches I could find along the way and noticed that if things go to plan I could make my #1000. This didn’t end up happening. I found out when I approached the GZ’s of a few of the caches I had chosen didn’t have parking space to stop and/or were difficult to find which lead some caches into DNF’s. I did however love finding all the caches I did find and to end on an even happier note the last cache I found was a FTF (GA13111)!!! There were lots of great camos and styles of hides that I hadn’t come across before and new styles for common hides that provided me with plenty of fun and ideas for new caches. Most of the caches I found were in great condition but for the rest of them, the maintenance required is log books/sheets and/or containers need replacing, camo needs replacing, D/T and coordinates need correcting. On some of the smaller logs I signed as 2/11 JM, 3/11 JM and 4/11 JM. TB visit on all found caches over the whole weekend. I would like to thank all CO’s for the caches I found, the locations I visited and for the fun it provided me over the whole weekend!
Weekend totals:
45 Finds (41 Groundspeak and 4 GCA)
4 DNF’s and a lot of drive-bys
Cache Types: 7 (Trad, Virtual, Mystery, WherIGo, Trig-Point, Earth and Multi)
I have heard about these types of caches but it was only today that I made my first find of this type. TFTC
P.S. Sorry about the generic log.
P.S.S. All Caches found have been logged in order and backtracked to the correct day.

All caches attempted were found and now carry our names though most were signed as DSD and SG.
Thanks to all the COs involved for making this sort of day possible.

Too many days of just one or two finds lately. Getting itchy caching erm, fingers?
So while the Geowife is busy supervising HSC I decided to head south where a lot more power trails have appeared.
Made a start on one before the creek got in the way, and then picked up a whole lot more in the area.
Finished with twenty three finds. That'll round up my find count. In retrospect though, 28 finds would have made a more interesting total.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Spotted a likely hide on approach. But first had to wait for the cars to pass. Yep. That's it. But it was a stubborn extraction until it finally opened.
Took the log away to complete signing duties as the cars kept going past. Then back for the replace when the coast was clear.

I did not have any plans to coming do any geocaching today, but a chance conversation with The Rats on Friday evening changed that. He pointed out that there were two events on in the Highlands today, and that he could get away for a morning out. And just like that, some plans were hatched.
We headed off reasonably early, and made our way to the first event. Between events we found one of the new Geo Trails nearby, and then headed to the second event. Finally we nabbed some Mittagong caches, before visiting an Earth Cache (apparently that is a thing today) and heading back for home. An excellent morning out, despite the cold weather, and at times torrential rain!
A quick stop on the way to a new trail.
Thanks to all of the cache hiders for their efforts in placing and maintaining their hides. It was fantastic exploring this part of the world.

Ahh yes I remember finding my very first cache with this type of camo! I think it was actually in this region of NSW too, on a day I visited Fitzroy Falls years ago!
After seeing the hint and pulling up to GZ I knew straight away and had my hand on the cache within seconds. Very well done! Thanks for a nifty little hide!

**The Day:**
Day 1 of an extended weekend caching trip, and a family member's 50th up in Sydney!
Started off from Canberra at 7am and reached my accomodation in Moss Vale at 6pm. Then cached for another hour between 7-8pm! Today consisted of a few short stops to grab new + missed caches on the way to the Southern Highlands region, and then a big sweep of country roads and towns, picking up every cache I could and using some specific caches to guide me around. Visited some excellent locations today and also found some very creative caches! Found a total of 78 caches for the day!
Thanks to all the CO's! See individual log about each cache above ^^
