We came to the gardens today to have a walk around in the sunshine and also to check out the Ecocentre. Unfortunately the Ecocentre was closed and there were no Ecocentre gardens to check out anymore. There were notices that the centre has moved across the road but that didn't seem to be open.
Anyway, while here we remembered that there is a cache here that we hadn't managed to get previously. It was quite a tricky get, as people kept walking past but we managed to grab it only to find there was no pen in it and we hadn't brought one with us as we hadn't intended to cache. We spotted an abandoned pencil on the deck which we used and then broke in half to put it in the cache. So signed and returned to it's spot, all was good. Thanks for the hide.

After finished some adventure labs had to stop to find at least one traditional for the night TFTH

Thanks for the cache! Hint definitely helps but it's more like a 'small' cache than a micro...we were looking for something film cannister style! Lovely gardens!
I was out and about early hunting coffee and a cache. What a nice little park. I had no trouble finding the cache. In fact, I expect its prone to being muggled. There was no log to sign though :-/.

Not sure we’d describe this as a micro sized cache but it was fun to find. The sculptures in the nearby gates are beautiful. First time in these gardens - very tranquil place.
There is a couple caches in this park for its size! Quick find past the gate.

Out with my geograndson (Ryan) this morning for a break and to find some playgrounds. These Botanic Gardens fitted the bill and we visited this cache after a nearby find. There werea few muggles around and the GPS receiver initially pointed me to one spot which didn't seem

Retracing my steps I spotted a likely spot but there were a few muggles coming and going and then a muggle with a couple of dogs stopped just outside the gates looking directly into the gardens. So we moved away and waited for a few minutes. On return all seemed quiet and Ryan had a closer look and retrieved the cache. Thanks to diana8 for the cache.

Visited last year and spent a tiny eternity looking for this one. It’s not a difficult find and I’m glad we stopped by again in 2022 because we uncovered this little gem quite quickly.
OOOPs. A tad tardy as its been sitting in drafts. Memorable as I sat on the step waiting for muggle city to move on, then enjoyed another garden of marvellous Melbs. TFTC bringing me here and the fun.
Searched everywhere but was unable to come up with the goods today.
My coordinates suggested a location nearby but based on my geosenses and previous logs I searched closer. It was a busy day in the park so I had to be mindful of muggles. I had as best a look as I could. I’m not 100% certain it’s not there but I couldn’t get my hands any further in whilst still being discrete so will retry it when the nearby caches have been replaced.

The weather was holding well so we then decoded to try our luck on a few other caches in the area as we just don't seem to get this way often.
This location sounded quite interesting so we headed here to have a look, unfortunately a lot of other people had the same idea which meant that it wasn't such a straight forward find . We had to wait for a break in the muggle traffic before we could look. Fortunately the cache was a nice quick find and the nice new log book now contains our name.

Found it, though the plethora of different steps and the coordinates being a bit off do not help matters.

I'm not sure why I haven't looked for this cache before but today I dropped by after visiting my rels who live in nearby Caulfield. I managed to get a parking spot outside the Gardens and only about 20 metres from GZ. It had been raining on and off all day but the rain had finally eased. Because of the rain there weren't many muggles around. I searched around GZ for a while but couldn't find the cache, even after taking a squiz at the hint. It started to bucket down again so I went to a nearby café for a caffeine fix.
The rain eased again and the sun came out so I returned to GZ for another look. It must have been the caffeine or the sunshine because this time I soon spotted the cache. However, it was way too deep in its hiding spot for a short armed person like me to reach. I got a TOTT out of my car and managed to coax the cache out of its hiding spot. I signed the log at 4:30 pm and then returned the cache to its hiding spot but made it slightly easier for the next cacher to reach. TNLN.

We were in the area today looking for UooUoo art today in celebration of 100 years of the Children's hospital. After finding the UooUoo we started to look for the cache. There were a number of spots which matched the hit. After trying a few we got the right spot and found the cache. Thanks diana8

What happens when you overthink it? It takes twice the amount of time it really should. After putting our assumptions aside, we looked around and soon had the cache in our hands. Great to learn about this EcoCentre.

Quick find this sunny Sunday morning. Left tb. Tftc and finding this secret park.

This park is a hidden gem in StKilda and didn't know this existed. Had a fairly good log around but was in the wrong spot. Muggles everywhere. Finally geo senses kicked in and the find was then made. Cache all good, log signed and all back safe again.
