Had a really long look in garden under and near Spinifex...
This may need disabling until CO can investigate .
Lovely rest area.

Sorry. We come here in a group of 16 Sweds to go around by bus in NZ for 3 weeks. Tree of us are geocachers . We realy like this world spread game. Pehol
Despite much searching we dnf today. Found a likely piece of wood near said plants, but nothing underneath. Will try again another day.
We had a bit of trouble finding gz but logic took over. Hunted in the little garden by some little plants which must have been spinifax. Saw a piece of wood by one. How suspicious! Yes it was hiding a cache, thanks
On my way north for the weekend and stopped for this cache along the way. I did a couple of circuits of the garden, without spotting it, then saw something out of place on my 3rd go - a well hidden sistema! TFTC!

(1989) On our way home from collecting some caches along the Mount Auckland walkway. So called into this small park to collect this cache. Nice quick find once we reach GZ, TFTC
The rain had stopped and it was time for a stop - what better excuse to rest than a cache to find. t4tc
Quick stop on our way north today...thanks for sorting the cache...it was good to have a break on the road north. Thanks for the placement.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... On a flying visit to Northland with the intention of finding very old caches and anything else that is within short walking distance of the vehicle. The gloomy, black sky is an indication that rain is only a minute away...
We were surprised to find some prior DNFs on this one, and more so when we spotted the host plants straight away. A quick find despite having a truck parked alongside. TFTC.

The Squirrel and my plans for the weekend was to log as many old caches as possible to go towards completing another challenge. This meant a lot of kilometres driving and a bit of forward planning and plus collect as many other caches as we could. The plan was to travel to KawaKawa Bay and stay at Hemi's uncles home.
Early start Saturday morning with our goal to get to KawaKawa. Google tells me its 266 Kilometres one way, but with caching who knows how many km's it will be.
Left Rotorua after work on Friday with a stop for dinner (Cambridge Roast House). Next stop Huntly for a coffee and a chat with fellow cachers, then on to KawaKawa Bay. No caches done on this leg.
Early start Saturday morning to achieve our goal.
11.30am - Truck parked right beside cache, truck driver must be asleep, then we noticed a few DNF's but we soon found it with the description given. SLTFTC

Second time and still a DNF. Cannot find any spinifex in the area and the coords zero on and empty space. After a good search over a wide area with three of us we have had to give up. Is a check on the coords and hint possible please?
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
The GPS had us over by some trees, but after reading through the logs, and looking at the hint, we are fairly sure we were looking in the right place (with rebel98) but could not find the cache. The area has been weeded and trimmed, so not sure if still in place
Almost clean log. Not so my leg which came in close contact with the rose bush. No need to go there! Thanks for the cache
On our New Zealand trip we also found this cache
2nd - also ADV was earlier on the road to day
Thanks for the Cache
