----------### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###----------Hi there Cache Owner,This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **possibly** needs some attention. You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do. Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.#What you need to do:-#You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored. - **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page. You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. Didnt want to rummage thew thorns and plants in case of snakes or the rouge spider
Could only spend a short time here as it started raining again. Even with two searching we couldn't find this one. So many potential spots and we didn't want to wreck the flora too much. Thanks.
Out and about caching around St Leonards today with my son, was chasing 20 caches today but a few DNFs put a dint in that total we came up with 16 in the end. Some great designs and a travel bug motel to boot. Our first DNF today. There was a lot of hiding spots and it may have been in there somewhere. One for the watchlist.

Cache had gone walkabout and original hiding place no longer safe for hunting. Moved nearby, cache contents modified slightly as original seems to have gone walkabout. Happy hunting
Will endeavour to move to new location pending tree removal works. Standby for update, thanks for your patience

G'day there NikLibSteph,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue.
The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

After a huge inaugural Great Victorian Cache Crawl yesterday with well over 100 cachers joining the crawl throughout the day, it was time for a more leisurely caching journey today on the way back to Melbourne.
As we made our way along the coastline we stopped in to grab another cache in this series. A relatively quick find.
Thanks NikLibSteph for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

*Cache find # 12925.*
Today I headed out with buhfuhguh, our main destination being St Leonards to attend a couple of events.
We had a bit of time to fill in before the first event and while checking the map as to what was around this large cache was spotted.
After the large one was found we were now heading back to the first event but as we were passing this one, we stopped for a look.
A quick find was made and now it was event time.
**Thanks to NikLibSteph for placing this cache.**

Driving down to St Leonards today with Stemicmitsar to attend two events one of which was a Cito, with him chasing CITO's for fabled challenges and me just happy to go out caching plans were mad and we were off for another day of caching.

Took a few go's at coming back, to make sure not to be spotted, but third times a charm. TYFTC

Gotta love some scuba diving. Haven't done it in years... snorkelling is somewhat cheaper, and money is now an issue.
Thanks heaps for the cache!

Another find on this lovely walk whilst enjoying some well deserved long service leave. TFTC
From No2, J walked to get steps up and G drove as we were in a hurry to get back to the holiday house for some missed medication. Easy find at GZ. Thanks for the history of the local fire brigades.

It is a stunning day today on the Bellarine and Dan has just announced that we will be able to venture beyond the 5km. limit, so we decided to celebrate by reading out and snagging a few caches in the glorious sunshine. Normally at its time of year, the areas these caches are in would be swarming with muggles on a day like today, but wee only saw a few other people, most of them were swimming. The second cache was easier for the taller of us to see, the shorter one would have needed a tool to retrieve. We opened the cache and saw the log, so we were able to sign this one. Thank you for this cache NikLibSteph
Out on our day off to collect a couple of caches, has been a while since we've been able to grab some caches with the return of school and everything now COVID has dies right back down so today was the day. Out in the new Geo-Volvo we headed out this way for a bit of a drive and a chance to grab this cache along the way. You couldn't ask for a better park and grab, only 5 meters from GZ and I was able to get out of the enjoy the views, find the cache and sign the log then back into the car to head home. Thanks for the hide NikLibSteph
Maintenance run during Sunday rush hour.
Cache ok, additional log added. Happy hunting

This morning was a nice cool Boxing Day morning on the bellarine. Today is the start of the holiday crew heading down from Melbourne for the Christmas holidays. Tftc
Another cache that we needed to look very carefully for and we were excited to see what was in this one. SL TFTC
