Ahhh found this cheeky bugger but only because it seems like it's been left out in the open...replaced in a hidden spot and owner messaged so it can be put back where it should be.
Out visiting a friend workplace saw a few caches in area so decided to investigate this had me stumped at first until I opened up my search soon had log in hand tftc
We needed to go to Mount Tamborine today to collect a junior from camp so we decided to take the opportunity to cache our way there. After finding our target cache, we stopped to collect anything else we passed along the way. This one may not be an original location as it was not camouflaged and it was out in the open. Thanks Aussie Liahona
This one way took way too long to find! Sneaky and unexpected TTFC definitely got stumped by this one
We were almost stumped by this one, but got it in the end; 18th of the day, TFTC
Spotted pretty quickly. Signed and replaced. Happy to have another yellow smiley on the map. This is was find number 4 for the afternoon. TFTC. Find #1277

A day on the coast but chose inland. Caching with RoddyC echocage1 poolpool. No not there. Found it. Not having a good afternoon but got this one TFTCache Aussie Liahona adopted from creators Nottinghamers
Out today with hatzofff, RoddyC and poolpool. It's much cooler today adding to our enjoyment of the day. Thanks to COs for putting out caches for us to find. After a few disappointments we were happy to make a quick find here.TFTC
Out to do dome caching today seeing it isvmuch cooler weather. Around south of Nerang. With hatzofff, echocahe1, and our interstate friends, poolpoool. Too easy.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 4:19 PM on November 18, 2023. TFTC, Aussie Liahona adopted from creators Nottinghamers
Great hide, very sneaky and unexpected. Looked in the wrong location for too long.

Find No: 9109. Visiting from Newcastle, staying at my brother's in Nerang, like others I circled that mongrel tree many times, about to give up but broadened my horizons, thanks for the cache Nottinghamers!!

Wagging work wet Wednesday was upon us, and SaintsMadHouse and I had some serious goals to kick today… once I had finished at acupuncture that is.
The plan had been meticulously laid out by SaintsMadHouse for a productive and successful outing.
This one was quickly spotted at eye height, as opposed to the usual search high and low for ages style finds from Nottinghamers.
Thanks for the cache Nottinghamers and for its maintenance Aussie Liahona.

I cannot believe I spent quite an amount of time here, after finding the container. Beautiful execution, Tftc!
This weekend, jesswrigley and I had a trip down the Gold Coast, comprised of geocaching Events, a family catchup, a Wave Break Island kayak paddle, and a Nerang mountain bike session ride.
Today, I had a few hours looking after baby Warren, so we spent the morning with a Nerang walk along the Nerang River, whilst also completing the [Nerang Walkabout](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/bb9d36b8-68c6-4c49-854f-881baf76da8a) Adventure Lab. Then whilst baby napped, we took a drive south to Worongary and completed the *Worongary Wandering* circuit. It was then time to attend the [Nerang Num-Num](https://coord.info/GCA29Y4) Event for a lunch bite, before driving home via a Q1000 oldie at Pacific Pines.
This was a fairly nice park. Followed my GPS to GZ, and I think I must have spent a good 10-15 minutes making just as many loops around the paperbark tree, before expanding my search to nearby trees, and then retracting back to that particular tree. I was beginning to think that I'd need to log a DNF, and it was just as I was thinking of leaving that something caught the corner of my eye, and sure enough, it was a well camouflaged cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Nottinghamers for the cache placement, and Aussie Liahona for its ongoing maintenance.

Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
My phone GPS sent to the wrong but then it settled down and sent me to another After much looking I had to PAF for a hint. And then I looked up and there was the cache. TFTC
Found & logged using Cachly for iOS

Found something on the ground that looked like it was a Cache, found it to be a used sharps container. I have taken it to dispose of. Once back on track and reading the Description I had it in hand. TFTC
My fifth of seven finds today. What a decoy is in place here. When I followed the gps and moved over a little it still took multiple angles and a dash to avoid a spider for me to finally find this one. TFTC.
down the coast for wrestling so what else do u do before the show starts ... cache
we knew it was there ... but it took us way longer to find it
climbed the tree ... twice ... and the stump

A previous finder described this hide as sneaky... indeed... didn’t help that my GPS was bouncing around like a candy raver on a Sunday morning...
Interesting to note the last physical entry on the log was SMH - Saints Mad House... I don’t get the point...
Anyway, replaced the snap lock bag with one that will actually keep the moisture out... tftc...

Thanks to SMH for the note. I have sprayed the container and deposited some ant killer, so we'll see how they like that. Happy caching!
Found far quicker than I expected with this cache hider! Be sure to spray your bushmans on BEFORE heading in to this one. After recent rain the biters are out in force! Great hide! A fav point from me!
Oh that's just nasty. Love it. Took me ages to find it. Almost gave up.
A favourite point for this one. [^]

With an afternoon free we decided to head south in the hopes of picking up a few smilies.
This was #6 of 9 caches found.
Spotted Mrs VC foraging around down the slope & looking a little distracted from the task ... aha!
No wonder, she's on the phone!
This one could take a while.
Swapped over with Mrs VC heading back to the Geo-Beast & Winter the Geo-Cat & I headed over to take a look around GZ.
DON'T listen to others' comments as they may well lead you astray as was the case here for me ... something about down a hole or such which had me way off base.
I turned to see that Mrs VC had returned only to say "There it is" & point out the cache to me.
Grrrrr!
Made our mark & replaced as found
Sneakily deceptive indeed!

Unbelievable, once I found this, took a while, I thought I would be able to see it easily. Nope, went to put the log back and it had disappeared again! Wormhole cache perhaps? Only visible every 5 mins. Be warned it messes with your head. Great hide tftc.
Down the goldie today and time out to collect a few caches
I spotted an obvious spot for a hide and headed straight to it. Doh Changed my strategy and followed the arrow and then a bit of a stretch for me. Nice work

Third time lucky with a little bit of help from a previous finder. I can’t believe I haven’t noticed it before! Definitely a good one thank you.
Found with The X-Trailers. Glad ground dry or may have been a slippery find. Cache found by The X-Trailers whilsy i looked at different elevation. TFTC and a fav point. Love the camo
After two previous and some help from the CO (thanks) we managed to find the cache pretty quickly. It blends in well with the surroundings. Thanks for the cache.
Found on second visit after some guidance from the CO. Well camouflaged and blended. Am loving these caches. TFTC
That took a while!! Blends really well. We focused on the wrong gz for too long. Reading some previous logs for inspo we tried a different gz & elevation & eventually spotted what we'd been seeking. Tftc Nottinghamers xo
GPS had us looking at what we thought was the obvious spot. Looked further afield at other possibilities. Something caught my eye, it wasn't the cache but presto directly behind was! Another imaginative hide Nottinghamers. TFTC
I checked out one spot as I headed towards zero on the GPS but there was nothing there.
I went past zero to check out another spot which looked more promising but my initial search was fruitless so I stood back and searched around and looked back towards y GZ and spotted the cache.
Come good camo on that.

My GPSr kept sending me out to an open space between two likely hiding spots. Back and forth a few times until I decided one spot would be much be better, and soon after spied this crafty container. It does blend in very well.
Thanks to Nottinghamers for placing this cache.

The biting ants have taken over the tree stump. Unsure if thats gz location or not but if it is prob best to move cache or ant kill location. Those suckers hurt.

Buoyed by my success at finding several Nottinghamers caches the other day I thought that I'd try for a few more.
Silly man. 3 dnf's out of 4
I will return.

Out for a caching afternoon and this was the first one on our list. It does take some spotting - great hide Nottinghamers. A favourite point for the cache designer.
Not a secret any more. I know where it is. And very well dressed it is. Leave-ing nothing to the imagination. Plenty of tiny little ants have taken a liking to it.
Heading to Brisbane for another week and I am trying to turn greens into smiles. This one had us going for a while then we just had another look and wowwww, how does this only have one fav point, definitely getting one from me. TFTC
Off to Brisbane for another week of study, DiamonJs is determined to have no beeps on her GPS as she drives through so this had to be done, we looked, we looked and at the right direction wow, look at that, a fav point from me. TFTC
Love finding Nottinghamers caches, always something different and once again another one with good camo. Thanks Nottinghamers for your originality and TFTC
Inspected and found cache is missing, possibly due to storm damage. Will replace ASAP.
Didn't have a lot of time today, but targeted Nottinghamers again and had missed this one prior, was feeling lucky today and lucky I got hardy har.TFTC.
Well, i had already done more than my one for the day so If theres gonna be a blowout it may as well be a good blowout. Good things happen in threes as they say... or is that trees? So much of my geocaching seems to revolve around bobbing around and amongst trees. This one didnt take long for me to spot, but I think it was mostly luck. My gps was not settling so normally i would have been looking here there and everywhere. This time i just stood and hoped to see something out of the ordinary. I must admit complete surprise at the time that this actually worked.
I have not yet seen the Ghostbusters remake but i am imagining E going into exterminator mode here would bot be disimilar. Haha i got a giggle reading about it. I can report that there are far less live ants in the cache. A lot of dead ones though haha the baggy was so slippery with spray my poor thumb and forefinger couldnt get any purchase. Employing my biro as a TOTT for not the first time i managed to free the bag and gave it a good wipe down before signing and replacing.
Excellent camouflage here. Amazing how it blends in so well. Cheers nottinghamers this was another fun one.

I have to be the most hopeless cacher ever! I was hoping I'll get this one without help!
I hope spraying the cache inside and out will get rid of the ants inside and around it.
Thanks Nottinghamers! I have fun finding your cache. Always! Very clever! A favourite point from me!

Well I thought while in the area I'd get two Nottinghamer caches, what a silly assumption especially for me,I think I'm getting blind in my old age.TFTC.I'll be back.
I'm in the area finding a few caches before dark and this one was in the area so I thought I'd check it out.
A fairly quick find today for me, I must have looked for it at just the right spot. It was quite difficult to retrieve the logsheet so I had to return to the car for an extraction tool.

Sneaky, sneaky, again Nottinghamers. Your caches are always a challenge to find and this one was no exception. We had a hunt for a while trying to avoid the many ants around GZ today due to all the recent rain - I think they were looking for somewhere drier like the rest of us. With both of us here for the hunt we thought we'd spy it before too long. We were about to give up when Geohubby says: 'There it is!'. Phew! He spotted it in the nick of time. We were about to leave so he could go back to work. Thank goodness he was with me today - he was the one who spotted both our finds. Cheers! [^][^]
I was up early again this morning (it seems to be common place now) before the family and while enjoying a coffee I noticed a new cache down Mudgeeraba way. I ummed and ahhed for a bit then thought what the heck so I got ready and hit the highway.
With plenty of time to spare before work still I searched the map for the next closest unfound cache. Oh, I totally forgot about this one and with only one find, I'm guessing others may have also. So with the decision made, I headed for victoria's secret. I, I, I mean Explorers secret.
On approach to GZ there were a few school kids wandering past the perfect car park so I drove on before turning around and coming back. Now I had the place to myself, which sometimes you need with a Nottinghamers cache. I totally got fixated on a location for far too long before I rechecked my gps and found I was way off still, doh. Once in the right location I spotted my prize.
Great camo Nottinghamers, simple but very effective.
Thanx again

We had planned to cache today but decided to rest instead ... then ... my phone goes off and lo and behold - a new Nottinghammers cache! I say to my darling 'Wanna get it' and quickly we are away. Traffic is heavy and I am counting down the k's. Knowing that we have a very clever, crafty hider, we looked and looked and looked and looked. Admitting defeat I went to the car and rang the CO. Not expecting a hint as we were the first to come looking he graciously and happily pointed us in the right direction. We had been oh so close. Thanks Nottinghammers for another adventure!
