Back for yet another geoadventure around the Sunshine Coast hinterland, this time in the north end. This one was the first for the day. I saw the bison down the bottom of the stump, it had become dislodged. I somehow managed to fish it out with a stick and replace it where it should belong. Thanks for the cache spiderwebbs4!
We were in the area recently by car instead on our motorbikes so we got out couple of times for caching. We found this cache and signed the log.Tftc Spiderwebbs4
This year we are trying to find caches starting with the letters of that month for a challenge cache. We need 4 different cache types. So for January we already have an A & N, but need the rest. Today we are in the 4WD, going to Cooloolabin Dam, Wappa Falls and Towen Mountain, going for the A, R & Y.We like this series. It helps us with the letters of the alphabet, in this case Y. Today we are in light cloud, so no view, still a great spot to bring us.TFTC
spiderwebbs4 I found your cache Y is for Yaz on 29/7/2022, 12:00 pm. This is my find 3859 and find # 8 today. A quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
End of Towen onto Carruthers, look up on the high stump not the low, found within 5 minutes.
Logged and Found as WallabyTim/KaleidoscopeCass or WallabyWanderers. Backing this up with our old account, Apologies if you receive multiple logs

Had a great day out around Nambour, Mapleton and Woombye collecting virtual stamps in my book for the Wonders of the World souvenir promo. Wondered about the hint but once at GZ it makes sense.

I’ve always wanted to go to the Roman Coluseum and this Cache helps me get there virtually .
The Wonders of the World souvenirs lead me here to for that souvenir.
Thank you Spiderwebbs

Second visit to the spot and it was a find this time. Last time it was missing as we found the attachment only and we informed CO via a private message. We were supposed to log a DNF according to CO's maintenance notes - will remember that for the next occasion we might have a problem on one of your caches and will DNF instead of messaging you....thank you for letting us know . Did not spot any clues for this guy, but got my climbing on and luckily found what I was looking for

Sunday. Both Slow Punctures were on the cache hunt in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland today. We parked nearby and then started to look at what we thought was a really obvious location. We couldn’t spot it, so then I saw another good looking spot just a few metres from where I’d been looking. Looked in the right spot and called out to Mr SP that cache was found. Nice that the actual cache spot was not immediately obvious.
This was the 3rd of 11 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***spiderwebbs4***, for showing us this place.

Another new log signed today on a beautiful drive in this area. Thanks Spiderwebbs4 for placing these caches for us to find.
Long time between visits out here. Obviously quite a way off the beaten geocaching track!
Maintenance check due to recent cachers concerns (although I noted that no DNF has been logged...)
Cache seems to have been bitten off its line, so replaced with another. Now a red one - same location and attachment.
Happy hunting!!

Having a day out with the fam this is number two for the day hopefully more to come.
I went out of my way a bit for this cache. No worries though because it was a nice drive through the sticks. Still not sure why nobody can seem to pave a straight road. When I arrived I quickly deduced the correct location and spotted the little devil, now how do I reel it in? Ah, got it! All good here, however no O-Ring = slightly damp log but was still perfectly ink-able. Thanks again sw.
Took the scenic route home from today's appointments and stopped in here for a check up.
The log is indeed very wet, so replaced with a new one in a plastic ziplock bag, so hopefully will keep try. It's a bit of a tight squeeze but should be OK.

We found this one - eventually - I had a bit of a look but didn't spot the little "sign" before Marco came and located it. Unfortunately we couldn't sign the log as the paper was completely saturated. It appears as though the seal is missing from the container and this may be why the paper is wet. We have taken a photo if the cache owner requires proof of our find. TNLNSL TFTC
This was a bit tricky to find but eventually we came up with the goods! A wonderful Sunday country drive. Thanks for bringing us here, plus it gives me a letter for the January challenge
Stopped off on my way around to Nambour, looked at the GZ and didn't find anything . So back to the geomobile and read the hint ? Checked back at the GZ and there it was and another of this series done . Signed logsheet after giving it a dry out under the bonnet of the Geomobile, 24/10/2016 11:00 am and replaced all as found.

Out and about for a drive today and I decided to collect a few caches along the way.
Another in the Drug series appeared to be the closest and I was soon parked nearby. A short stroll to GZ and the cache was soon in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

A weekend engagement in Nambour now completed, and we have the afternoon free. Yea! Eleven caches visited this afternoon!
I keep my personal feelings about drugs in check while doing these 'drug' caches. I find them depressing (no pun intended). However, we have enjoyed the caches to date. Enjoyed the drive along the country road, and didn't take too long to locate the cache. When visiting caches like these, I often wonder if the CO lives close by?
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 4.35pm on 28th August 2016. TFTC

Wow - what amazing views from up here. Just goes to show that if you don't get out and about, you never will see this wonderful planet. Thanks for bringing us to this cache!
Out and about today with fng_affl collecting a few smilies! Thanks for bringing us here to see such beautiful view! I now have my Y for July!
I would never have seen any of these views or any of this area if it wasn't for this cache. Well worth the drive and T4TC
Great views on the way to this one. Parked at the end of the road and geowife said "why don't you look in there" - don't you just hate it when they're right!! TFTC spiderwebbs4
Find #599
Seeking a souvenir for the day I quickly did a search for the closest cache, which this one was. I quickly made my way to the location and soon realised I explored this area quite recently without realising there was a cache here.
Thanks for the cache and all the time you've put into this series..

The FTF Draught is over! Its been a while since I got a FTF but I guess thats what happens when life takes over and new mother duties must take priority!
I was quite excited about this new series popping up today and I had been planning on doing some caching this afternoon anyway. Perfect timing for me!
Unfortunately I got muddled up by the overwhelming listings pouring through my notifications and as the link to the geocaching app were not working for me, it was near impossible to find the closest one. so i started with Z in attempt to work backwards... nope not interested in a puzzle and i flicked to the next letter without looking at much detail. Y will do!
A quick find!
Thank you Spiderwebbs4!
