We have travelled down from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the Wollongong area for the April school holidays, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback camper trailer at the Corrimal Beach Tourist Park.
After setting up our campsite we went for a walk along the cycleway and came to this one. Found the sign with the nice accurate coords, but sadly we were unable to find any "sign" of a cache. Searched for a while before giving it up. TFTH anyway auzzy_mate.

Haven’t been here for a long time, wow it’s changed. Tftc, tins very rusty
A lovely cool summer's day (a nice change after all the recent heat), perfect for a beach walk.
Nice easy find, but in case you're wondering - your internal waterproofing is no longer there, but the log is still nice & dry. TFTC

Found it, but it looks like it has been raided! No small pencil and no waterproof pocket inside.
May need some maintenance!

Companions: Geoson13
Muggles: A few, but not too close
Weather: Warm summer evening
We had just had dinner nearby after setting up camp nearby, and decided to head down to the beach to watch the sunset. After getting some good shots we headed back towards the playground where the younger two were playing, and quickly grabbed this enroute. Nice views. TNLNSL, TFTC

Celebrating 2 years geocaching with find #629. Good deed for the day was putting a new log in, still needs a visit by CO for plastic log cover, tftc
Found the cache but tin was empty. No log to sign. Didn’t have any paper to replace.
This cache was found at around 1902 and brings our overall cache find tally to 9453.
Another cache fins whilst out on a ride. I pulled up here last week to get a drink but didn't check if there was a cache. Found quickly and returned.
Thanks auzzy_mate for the cache.

Off we go for another geomission! fitzy_1965, AngelG27 and I were off in the geomover to descend on the Illawarra region to knock off the Helensburgh puzzle series and whatever others we could nab along the way. Sunny spring weather and lots of laughs made for a fun weekend of caching!
Swung by this one on the trip. Nice easy find and nice clean log!
Thanks for the hide, auzzy_mate

14577. Found during Day 2 of a great weekend caching down in the Helensburgh / Wollongong region with specimenX and AngelG27.
A long planned weekend was finally here. Yesterday we finished off the Scouts and Helensburgh puzzle series plus a bunch of other caches. Today we generally moved south during the day grabbing some quality caches along the way. This was the next find for the day. Love caching down by the seaside ! Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and we were on our way to the next one.
Thanks to all the CO's for their caches - very much appreciated !!

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX and I headed out on a long planned geomission to Helensburgh and Wollongong to grab a stack of solved puzzles and as-yet-uncollected traditionals. We headed up the highway from the ACT to Appin, then down the hill to Helensburgh and then made our way south. We have around 160 caches on the list, but managed to grab 90 odd yesterday. Looking to grab stacks of trads today on our second day of the mission. Unless otherwise indicated, caches were found quickly and in good order. Thanks to my geo partners in crime for a fun weekend
Nice clean log sheet!

It is cold, windy and almost dark but there are still dozens of people here at the playground or cycling or on the beach. Hate to see the crowd on a sunny weekend. Despite being exposed to the salt and elements the cache is in good condition but the log is pretty full. TFTC.
Very cleverly hidden, great cache. Looks like we were the second ones today! TFTC.
Learnt a bit of history at the plaques around this sneaky cache. An easy find. Thanks
On a cycle ride north of The Gong. Continuing south I found the GZ location quickly but the cleverly coloured camo fooled me at first. Then I spent the next 5 minutes trying to get the log sheet out! Lovely place by the sea here. TFTC.
Out for a cycle today so this was a good chance to revisit and do some unfound caches.
Thanks for placing them on the route.

A lovely walk/bike ride along the coast today. Boys stopped to play at the nearby park. A quick find. TFTC
Found whilst on the 2017 #gnomehome adventure around the Australian continent. thanks for the cache and thanks for bringing us here. ??
on a very hot day, nice to find this one quickly the into the near by bowling club for a cool drink.tftc
Didn't take to long to find the cache. What did take the longest was retrieval and the return of the cache with the muggles not noticing. If was such a nice sunny day that lots of people were out.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Yay First geocache found in Australia for us, nice easy find! Great playground nearby for geokids, rock pool looks quite rough today. SL & left minion keyring & euro 5 cents. Happy New Year!
Checked...and since my original log container was stolen () I have put in a new one, and a pencil, and some swag.

Our streak stays alive! Nice quick find for Christmas Eve. Now, to try and drag the kids away from the park or leave them while we find another one? Hmmm. Tftc. Merry Christmas.
With the geofamily away for a few days I decided to branch out to Wollongong for a few hours of afternoon/night caching for a change.
It had been a while since I've cached in the area and it will take a few attempts I believe to get the numbers down here.
Initially the finds came thick and fast but there was a few that slowed up the process and we're given favourite points for their creativity

1:05pm 5/11 - in town for the weekend visiting geosister. Plans to cache around Lake Illawarra this afternoon, but in order to get some of the tadpole's excess energy out we'd been directed to this playground. An easy find with the kids, getting the swag out though was a challenge (it will be used to keep our collected pathtags together).

In honour of my six month Cachaversary I will be visiting my hides and dropping of some new swag in the near future. The FtF are now been and gone, but I think I will include something extra that could be a Next-to-Find (NtF) prize.
At this cache the 'something extra' is not attached to the cache, but stuck just above it.
Anyway, good hunting and maybe I will see you at the next Event.

Had a nice quick search with geotoddler before enjoying the view as we ate our morning tea together!! Tftc!!!
Spent the afternoon cleaning up the map.
Aimed for 10 and ended up with 15.
Nice easy park and grab! Cheers

I thought I'd have trouble here if this was at the playground as it gets pretty busy! But fortunately the cache was close but in a nice little spot. TFTC!
A great spot that I often visit for work. Also some great pizza to get nearby. Was a bit in a rush today to enjoy the beautiful weather,

Deciding that a rainy lunchtime was the perfect muggle free time to search, I jumped in the car and left the office.
Once at GZ I made a quick find. I used to live just near here, and know the area well.
Cheers

Had just finished updating 32 find logs from IGC day when a new notification came through for another cache not far from this one that was now my closest to home. Racing out within 15min, I still only ended up a 3TF (meeting the 2TFer at GZ) so justified the drive with a short detour to also grab this relatively new one, my second closet to home. Winds picking up and getting cold so glad of a quick find.
Headed to Towradgi to look for this new cache. Soon spotted this neat cache on a very neat morning. Such a nice place this morning. Muggles were off minding their own business as I did the business stealthily. Looks like I'm 3TF. TFTC auzzy mate.
First to log, not first to find.
I didn't see any notification for this cache and only stumbled upon it when I did a "nearest to" search. Seeing as there was no claim on it I ducked out here this afternoon only find that I'd been beaten to the FTF.
Thanks

Sorry for the late log but saw this pop up late last night and was tossed as to whether I left it for International Geo day as it was close to home or go for a FTF.
FTF won so on the way to work dropped by and was greeted by a clean sheet and a beautiful dead calm ocean. Should have gone fishing rather than work.
