Nice easy find as it was lying out in the open. Hopefully replaced securely. Log full need replacing.
I grew up in a house within eye sight of the gz, and used to explore this bush a lot after school and on the weekends. It's great to be back exploring it again.
Sadly upon arrival, the cache was found out in the open, looks like somebody has raided it... lucky the logbook was still there, however it was full and no avaliable space avaliable. Found with Reny90

We've moved out of the area and can no longer maintain. Hopefully someone else can put some new hides here
GPS def off under the trees but it's pretty obvious and we all know where trolls like to live
After running the dogs at the off leash area of the botanical gardens and then a coffee it was time to grab a cache for dot day.
Hopped in the car and realized oops rookie mistake no pen!! Thankfully NZTravellers were still in the car park and gave me one of theirs.
This was the target cache. Parked up nearby and took the short walk to GZ. Gps very jumpy under the tree cover but it was obvious where to look and the cache was quickly in hand.
Love this little trail, had no idea it existed!!
Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.

Finally, our first Mega. We missed the last one in Auckland all those years ago by 3 or 4 months as we had not even heard about Geocaching back then. Anyway, Mr. Kiwi got a leave pass and was able to attend this event. Picking up UncleSamNZ, we headed off to see what was happening today.
Another part of the lovely bush that secrets you away from the hustle and bustle of suburbia. It was so pleasant to enter this bush and just get away from the busy lives that exist beyond it's boundaries.
We walked along looking for GZ and soon found it with two other cachers who had just replaced the cache before we arrived and were busy logging their find. We had a wee chat and then started our search in earnest when they moved on. There wasn't too many places where the cache could b hidden here, so it didn't take long at all before it was found. Antznz signed the log for all and we headed back to the car to move onto the next cache.

Out with LiverKiwi & Antznz for a bit of caching and to enjoy the Mega. Met another cacher sitting on the cache, so we didn't have to look far :-p
Almost muggled by a couple of runners but safely returned. Log full, wrote on sides
It took a little bit of looking but we finally found it. You just need to be at the right angle
Last one for the night.
Found it safe and dry.
Log and its extension are both full now.
Thanks for placing this cach.

Yay! My GPS was a fair few meters off but thanks to the clue we backtracked and found it thank you!
Could not find it nice walk it was found today though will try again another day
Nice easy find . GPS jumps around a bit but the clue is enough info to find it even without a specific location.
I have to agree with the previous finder, this is such a cool undiscovered place to explore, TFTC
This might be Auckland’s most underrated forest reserve!
Great place!
Thanks for the cache!
Great place!
Thanks for the cache!
Caching with themexikiwi today and doing a few caches while we had a bit of time free.
Didn't take too long to find a likely looking spot and we were soon in business and on our way again. All good here and TFTC

The final last one on our HillPark Bush walk series adventure! This was for sure the hardest to grab on the trail, we knew where to look but you gotta reach for some tough spots to grab this! Great last find for us, had so much mud *underneath* our shoes at the end though! TFTC
Loving these beautiful bush walks, especially the friendly terrain. Found with mrcleverclogs.
no luck here for us even getting on our hands and knees and shining our torches around.
We decided a wander around the Botanics would be a great idea to spend a lovely afternoon but as all caches have been found we needed to seek out our daily hunt elsewhere.
Strolled around to GZ and cache quickly found. All good. Lid number recorded. TFTC

Nice stroll in the park and nice easy find from the clue. GPS seemed quite a bit ouy.

Well this weekend was going to be a biggie.
Along with 3 work jobs we decided to see if we could knock off all the caches in Atiu Park.
First there was the any event in Papakura along with a bit of a bribe a puzzle which we had no idea as to solve.
All park caches were found by following Co Ords and hints given. Some caches were very wet and need maintenance done to them.
The park involved a lot of walking to tick off. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Filling in time before attending the CITO at Conifer Grove...
The Hillpark Bush Walk series has been on the radar for a while. With time on our hands, today seemed ideal... Our iPhone gps was struggling with these coordinates and seemed to point further down the track. However, the hint was quite clear, and an investigation resulted in a find. Took the TB... TFTC.

Needed some caches for the planetary pursuit. Decided to do some of the GROTTY-series and some more caches that came in handy, like this one. Good hint in the description, so it was an easy find (at least after we read it...) and the log of tramyard.

Out with Janno216 to get some trad's in the area. After guessing the right place where it would be, I volunteered to do the "dirty" work and get the cache. Thank's for the cache.
Dear Cache Owners,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder if my log entries sound a bit strange. Thanks!

Today I made a Little tour together with thegreatauk to collect some easy traditionals.
Quick find here. Nice hide.
Thanks for hiding!

We wandered in and saw a bike . . . . . no one around . . . . . could be stolen??? We followed to where the GPS led us and then we saw the GZ . . . . . there was no troll lurking about here today . . . . . . we did have to wait whilst a muggle passed by and then one of the kids made the find . . . . . signed and returned. TFTC
TF and I wandered here after #3 and it was a straight forward find in this lovely little park. TFTC
GPS was dancing here like crazy .... didin`t get the hint I don``t know much about Trolls Used geosense instead and it helps. Torch in my phone was handy as well. Cache located and log signed off. Took TB. TFTC
A nice day to pick up some geocaches, enjoyed the sunshine and the fresh air, thanks for placing this cache
Auckland
We spent the morning caching in south Auckland. We visited many parks we had not been to before.
We also found another lot of grotty caches.
Thanks for placing this cache jacquiandgreg

I was quite taken with this bush reserve when I visited here the other day finding the first cache that you had set up in this series... #1 Up The Stream. So before work this morning I decided to come and see if I could find this one. So after parking in the same spot as the other day, I made my way on foot to GZ... and as I thought about your hint I realised that there were many places that trolls probably would like to hang out... however once I arrived at GZ it was quite obvious where this particular troll would be. However, I had to wait a moment before making the find as a lady walking her dog came by... and her dog stopped to say hello... and so I ended up patting the dog and having a bit of small talk before she went on her way. This was actually quite strange as the same thing happened to me yesterday when I made my daily find. I was interrupted then by a black labrador who was out walking around and I patted that dog also. Anyway, once the coast was clear the cache was exactly where I thought it would be. The cache is in very good condition and I signed the last space on the front of the log sheet. Once having done so I put the cache back in its home nicely all ready for the next finder. So once again... thank you jacquiandgreg for taking the time to set up not just this cache but this series. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. I am going to give this one a favourite point... not so much for the cache... but for the series. Nice. TFTC!
Came here this morning just after dawn to complete this series (apart from having to go back and get a couple of numbers). This is an awesome wee bush with lots of well maintained tracks. Didn't even know it existed. Nice quick find at the GZ then a pleasant walk back to the car then off to work. TFTC
