M26: bumped my head on a tree branch while getting this cache, hehe... happens. Nice and easy find, log all good and signed here. TFTC.
COOLEST CACHE EVER. Geez it scared me but the fear turned to laughter at this awesome cache!
A detour to wander round the park on my way to Titirangi. I met a few friendly dogs here, so if you're not into dogs, might pay to be aware that this cache is hidden near an off-leash area. Luckily I love dogs, and luckily the cache was a quick find after venturing a little further in. Very cool! Thanks for creating & placing it (#2155)
How to scare the people you are caching with! Was looking in slightly the wrong place to start, but an easy find eventually. Tricky extraction without tott
Great little hide and as its the New Year no one was using the local sports grounds today. Our New Year caching trip in 2024 was in and around Auckland with Lis's Crew. Today we were planning on going in and around Titirangi after being unsuccessful yesterday due to various road closures on our travels. A great way to spend another sunny summers day.
I don't restart work again until the 8th of Jan. With free accommodation I decided a geocaching holiday in Auckland was a good way to spend this week off. Most of the week I geocached with Yvettetb but the beginning and end I was on my own. Tuesdays focus area was around the Orakei Basin area and Saint John's. Wednesday we ended up caching in the Waitakeries and finished up in Glen Eden, New Lynn and Waterview. Today we're going to geocache around Blockhouse Bay, Green Bay and Titirangi.A little wander up the hill to this one from the carpark. A neat hide and a favourite point well earned here. Thanks for your fun hide
A solo excursion for Mr Coblet as Mrs Coblet had to work.I have been meaning to visit this park for a while and today seemed like a good time to do so.I had intended to find another cache in the carpark before looking for this one but an abundance of muggles made me decide to come back for that one later, so I headed over to look for Miss Muffet instead. I was pleased to find the area around her tuffet was almost deserted apart from a couple of muggles on the other side of the field playing with their four legged muggle and too distracted to pay me any attention. But I still used stealth to slip into the bushes when they weren't looking, and noted that Miss Muffet was not currently in residence. After reading the hint I had a bit of a search but come up with nothing so read a few logs and realised that the hint was no longer accurate and probably relates to a previous version of the cache.Armed with this new knowledge I changed the scope of my search and soon spotted the cache, realising immediately why Miss Muffet was nowhere to be seen.Very nicely done and a bit of a shock to find, one of those caches you have to pause for a second and look at properly just in case it's something else.A favourite point from me. Thanks Bay7
We came to play with friends in the park and thought we could try to find this one again. And as lucky would have it our very new cache find friends spotted it first- a first find for them. Welcome to geocaching Taylortrail. We definitely needed tweezers for this one. TFTC#151
I didnt think Id have much chance finding this one as I rustled up the leaves and undergrowth. Mr Pazza did nothing but stand there and then proudly announced I see it! I figured that would be what I was looking for.., I just needed to raise my sights. Fortunately I had tweezers. Tftc
We really wanted to find this one but no luck for our wee clan today. We will be be back.
Will need to check if this is really missing or just too camoed for the recent new cachers.
Had a fair idea of what I was looking for, but just wasn't there. Looked for a while too.
Six sets of eyes and it's still took longer than it should. Log a bit damp
couldn’t find it anywhere.. searched for abt 10-15 mins- probably was taken by someone
Couldn't find it for 30 mins but perhaps found the lid on the ground? Looks similar to another photo posted here but could just be trash?
Out from study for sons football game. Very fortuitous that this was just of the corner of the field, but hard to be discreet. Daughter miss 8 spotted it nice cammo
Second attempt to find this one and when we did we thought the hint was awesome. You made it a really worthwhile find!
